Today was my loved one's (would have) 90th birthday and my family and I went to go spend time with her before 8pm (the usual times I can go) but my heart was ripped out of my chest when I saw a sign saying "closed from SUNSET to 8am". YOU FORGOT TO ANNOUNCE THAT. You don't even know how much a change in hours can mean to the surviving family members. im absolutely furious. if i could go back in time i would have had my grandfather buried elsewhere especially if i knew his headstone would be disrespected. i drive 90 round trip to see his headstone. I came in on January 2 to put flowers in my grandfather's vase for his headstone, but i found out somebody had stolen his vase when i got there. I went into the office and showed them a picture, and they said." we will put in a work order for a new vase, to level his headstone" because it would constantly get covered in mud. i came in today on 1-7-2024 to see them not replace the vase or level his headstone so now his headstone is not readable and absolutely flooded out. People pay x amount of money to get buried here and they can't even do their job and keeping the headstones clean or not vandalize. this is absolutely disrespectful to the people who have loved ones buried here. read more

This cemetery looks abandoned. Less than 50% of the grass is being watered. The system is obviously not working properly. Many vases are knocked over and many are broken. It's absolutely atrocious! I can't even give it 1 star but had to in order to post this review. My parents are buried here and it's heartbreaking to see how poorly the grounds are being managed. Dignity is not the appropriate description of this cemetery. read more

My review is based on the attention we received in the unexpected passing of my grandma at 93 years old. She had purchased a plan with Dignity in Orlando. When it appeared as though her final days were upon us, I contacted Lisa at Dignity, who immediately escalated our case up to her boss and further upper management. They spent the whole weekend and after hours digging into the out-of-state plan to see what services were paid for, in kind, since my grandma had purchased the plan in 1992 (32 years ago). The value of what was received was exactly what we needed and more! Dignity handled everything very well. The communication was excellent and the literature was helpful. They did a nice job preparing my grandma for an open viewing funeral event, and she was cremated and prepared to be shipped back to the plot next to her husband in Orlando, FL. I am so grateful for the care taken, the respect given, and the service rendered for basically, a surprise funeral. We purchased a guest book with her photo on the front and memorial cards, and they were all high quality and very beautiful. The grounds are lovely and well maintained but surrounding the grounds, it's just basically an open field in the hot Arizona sun. I would definitely go with the cremation services here and take the ashes home with us or sprinkle them into the Caribbean Sea. Thank you Dignity! My father passed in December of 2021. We ordered a headstone and the process was slow and took over a month to get ordered. I called at three months and six months. I emailed monthly after and received no response. I called today and was informed the salesman was at a different r location. They told me that due to supply issues it was taking 9 to 12 months and it has been almost 11. They would not get me an estimated date and told me they would not call the supplier because they will just say it's in process. This expensive item was prepaid . I was told that so could call the general manager who would just tell me the same thing. I used the words you don't give a shit and she called me rude and hung up on me without any assistance . Believe me I was not rude at all. The facility is responsive until they are paid. They charged me a lot more than agreed on a prepaid package due to the need for a vault. ..but never told us while our parents were living. WARNING!!! This company deserves less than one star but one is the lowest allowed. This company provides a very bad service. My brother passed away on Nov 1, 2022 and was transported to Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary for cremation. I am next of kin but they did not notify me for fifteen days. After notification, they waited another 3 weeks to do the cremation and set the burial service date. I also requested a copy of the bill three times but was refused stating privacy issues. I also spoke with Donna but received no satisfaction or copy of the bill. After all that mess, I ran a search on the company and discovered that they have about 58 Better Business Complaints and are NOT A BBB CREDITED BUSINESS. I also checked the corporation commission and discovered that they are listed as "INACTIVE". I also searched for a funeral director/mortuary license in Arizona but found none. I am the decedent's next of kin and need a copy of the charges to submit a burial/cremation benefit request to the VA but they still refuse to give me a copy of the charges that the VA requires. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. They cause more grief than anything else in a family death. read more

it took 3 weeks to have the ceremony for my mom, through no fault of our own. this was unacceptable! I reached out for care, for issues I was having with handling it mentally. I got a call, I missed answering it. I called back and had to leave a message. It's been over 5 hours now with no call back. If I could give this place a zero I would have. 12 months ago I called and spoke to Richard regarding the perimeter wall and the appalling appearance of the ground. I was advised it's a budget issue and due to COVID things are delayed. We are readdressing the issue a year later and things are worse. I have tons of photos to share. It makes me sick to think this was the final resting place for my loved one. I hope that anyone reading this post, PLEASE look elsewhere for your loved one to rest. STAY AWAY!!!!! Sadly, this was a horrible experience. It's hard enough when you have a lost one, and you would hope the funeral home would make things easier, not harder. You would hope... November 2012, my grandpa passed away. We were promised many things when we first arranged funeral and burial services, none of which we received. We were told to give them a picture of my grandpa for the service and a slideshow. We did both. The night of his funeral, they did not have a picture next to his casket like promised. So my sister and I left the funeral and ran to Walgreens to buy a frame and get a big picture of my grandpa developed instead of being able to be there for the hour before the service. We wanted to make sure there was a picture of him for the service!! The slideshow was messed up. I don't know what they did to the one we made, but they showed the same 8 pictures throughout the whole service, none with his kids. The worst is the way they "stuffed" his mouth. Did not look natural or even like him at all! My uncle suggested in stuffing the mouth a little, and they told him to do it himself how he wants it!! So my uncle STUCK HIS HANDS IN HIS DEAD DADS MOUTH in order for others to remember him peacefully!! He has been traumatized since!!! We were promised a free bench for all the mistakes that were caused by the funeral home, as well as for the emotional distress and damage that was caused to my uncle for having to stick his hand in his dead dads mouth!!! They never gave us anything. We finally went in a year ago and pay for a headstone, because for years the cars kept going over his grave and he didn't even have grass. The people that my neice and I met with gave the impression that they didn't really know their business. They were supposed to send a death certificate and it never came. I had to "verify" the area that the plot was in and the woman that took me over to it found the irrigation was on. Don't people know this in advance so I didn't have go at that time? There were many questions that we already answered...one person there didn't know what the other one was doing. I would suggest anyone needing these services go elsewhere. read more

When my sister passed away I went to this cemetery to possibly purchase a plot from them. I knew that I could NOT bury her here as soon as I pulled up. It was right next to - and I mean RIGHT NEXT TO - the city trash dump. It was literally like one foot away (you can touch the city trash dump from the edge of the cemetery). However, I drove all the way down there and they were expecting me, so I decided to follow through with the appointment that I made and go in and talk to them. The salespeople seemed very ready to make the sale but that's what they are there to do so I can't really fault them for that. They get two stars for not driving over peoples gravestones with a golf cart when they showed me around and for giving an OK tour of the place and they get one star because other than the city trash dump, the place looked very well maintained. I wish they had told me on the phone when I scheduled my appointment with them about the extremely close proximity of the dump but I guess I understand why they didn't. read more

I lost both my daughter my oldest 5 years ago and my youngest last year, my oldest was only 6 months old and my youngest was 5 months old. I came here to place my babies together because their fathers side wouldn't let me place my second baby with my first and Judy was awesome we had a game plan from the start put Both Babies in ONE urn vault. Well i placed my youngest whith the intention of digging her up to be placed in the same ONE urn vault. Well then Judy kept increasing the price to where it increased to $2,300 to place my oldest with my youngest to where i had to take my mother down with me to see someone else. We made an appointment to see someone new and Judy ended up calling me on my cellphone trying to intervene when we made it clear we didn't want to work with her any more. We go in for the appointment and she walks in the room and gets upset because we were upset about price changes and tried to talk to someone else. So George comes in and made it all right... Or so i thought... When i left i paid a payment to place my oldest with my youngest in the SAME ONE urn vault. We show up to place my oldest and right away i knew something was wrong because my youngest wasnt out like she should have been. Then Shawn walks over and says Judy will be right out and that my youngest was indeed STILL burried!! I informed him to get Judy because that was NOT the deal and NOT what i paid for. Judy then shows up in the golf cart but doesn't even walk towards me and my family. Judy just stands back talking to George and Shawn about the situation. Finally George walks over and I go sit in the car because I needed to take a breathe before talking with ANYONE because this is a day i fought for and waited for for a long long time. Well George is emotional and HEATED towards my family who is just wanting to place my babies together in ONE urn vault like we PLANNED BEFORE MY YOUNGEST EVEN PASSED AWAY. And George Yelled at my family and made and already hard and emotional experience even more awful which I didn't think it could get worse then the fact i had to lay my BABIES to rest. I walked over after i was calm and stated i wanted to handle this like adults and we just want a solution to place BOTH GIRLS IN ONE urn vault. I stated it was my property and i just want my babies together, then Goerge got even more heated and yelled at me about how it is his property and when my mother stated he was being emotional GEORGE LOOKED AT ME STEPPED CLOSER TO MY FACE AND SAID "YOUR BEING EMOTIONAL" so i walked away with tears in my eyes never being soo disrespected before especially by people who are supposed to make this hard time im going thru easier. Well my mom worked things out, Carmen brought me more paperwork to sign and was very sweet and appologized right away which i appreciated. But the reason im giving the 4 stars is for SHAWN AND ZACH who placed my babies with such care and made sure i was happy when they were done they asked my permission on things they had to do and they both were just sooo amazing and nice. SHAWN and ZACH made my whole experience much better and Carmen was sweet and made sure we were all hydrated and comfortable while placing my babies. I Appreciate SHAWN and ZACH more then words can describe. They went out of their way to change the experience i was having and I KNOW they will take good care of my babies. But would NEVER EVER recommend GEORGE TO ANYONE EVER!! Judy could have been more apologetic and tried to help more instead of just trying to prove she was right so I would Not recommend her either but Carmen was great in the office and Shawn and Zach are amazing grounds keepers!! read more

My Father in law recently passed away. We chose Phoenix Memorial because my Mother in law and father in law had purchased plots and prepaid for a headstone there. My mother in law now has severe Alzheimer's so she could not participate in any burial planning. My in-laws paid around $4,700 each for their burial plots and another $3,000 for their combined basic concrete headstone. Imagine our shock to find out that a basic burial with no embalming, no viewing, no funeral, no nothing would cost an additional $7,000 (each) and a basic cremation and burial would be $4,000. We opted for the cremation. After waiting weeks, my husband contacted the funeral home and asked why the cremation hadn't happened yet. We were told it was because FIL had a pacemaker and we needed to sign a removal form. So we signed the form. However, FIL did not have a pacemaker, so I'm not entirely sure who they cremated. Then several more weeks went by and my husband called to find out the schedule for burial. Well that would cost more money if he wanted to schedule it. So he opted for simply showing up when they were going to do it. Like 6 weeks after the death. Then the headstone wasn't there, asked about that....the answer, "oh did you want us to order that now?" Well, yeah and since it's been paid for and picked out for like 15 years, I'm thinking what's the delay? Then another week goes by and the funeral home calls to tell us they have the death certificates....for the wrong person. This place didn't do anything right and I'm just happy to be done with them....at least until MIL dies. I'm not even sure who they cremated and buried in my FIL's grave. read more

My grandma passed away last year service was great I give them 5 starts for that. My issues is with purchasing the marker it's been over four months nothing got done. We paid 50% upfront and rest of the amount they told us we can make payments now it's almost paid off they did not even got a proof done.
