Flowers by Jodi were great to work with. They can accommodate large and small orders for your events. We had a smaller wedding and ordered the bride's bouquet, a jr. bridesmaid's bouquet, the groom's boutonniere, and a few dozen white roses for table decor. They are super well organized and keep track of all orders and notes in their client portal. They base their bouquets on inspiration photos, and you can see what flowers they are planning to use on the portal. Make sure you are vocal about anything you may not like and answer all of their questions in a timely manner to ensure all visions are executed correctly. I recommend you make any needed changes at least two weeks before the event, as they order flowers a few weeks in advance. They were great to work with and delivered our flowers to the venue on time and as planned. read more

What a great experience!! I used Flowers by Jodi for my wedding at the recommendation of my mom, who used them for her wedding as well! Luckily with our outdoor venue, we did not need many floral decorations. The only flowers we used were on a person (bouquets, boutonniere, corsage, etc.) We went into the office for a consultation to discuss what I was envisioning and pricing. On the day of, everything was delivered in perfect condition! The boutonnieres and corsages were in plastic containers with labels on them notating who they were for, and the bouquets were delivered in large vases. I called and let a message which Jodi for an initial consultation. She returned my call herself within a timely manner and we set up an appointment that was convenient for me. I was very impressed upon meeting Jodi. She has a great personality which immediately puts you at ease and puts a smile on your face. She is so excited about life and what she does that you can't help but get really excited about your wedding flowers too. Jodi only does wedding flowers so she really knows her stuff! One of the most important things to note is that Jodi really listened to my vision and my ideas for my wedding flowers. The initial consultation took about an hour as I had lots of ideas, but Jodi was very patient and always made me feel comfortable. I felt like she really understood my ideas and I felt good about the meeting when I left. Jodi sent a quote via mail and email just a couple of days later. All the paperwork and emails were very professional and easy to understand which I really appreciated. I contracted with Jodi for a minimal deposit which I also appreciated because it can be quite unnerving paying out a large sum of money for services that wont happen for quite some time. Jodi understands this and her deposit amount to hold the date was very reasonable. The date of our wedding was over a year away and my vision evolved during this time. Jodi was absolutely amazing to work with. She was always happy to meet with me and make any and all changes that I desired. She returned phone calls and emails promptly and really made my life easier which is wonderful when planning such a large event as mine. Payment was also very easy. A final invoice was sent once my date was close and Jodi happily accepted credit cards (I say this because for some reason a lot of our other vendors would only accept cash or check.) My final invoice was clear and exactly what I expected with no surprises or hidden charges. The day of the wedding came and Jodi and her team were amazing! First the bridal party flowers were stunning. Jodi did a great job of creating modern arrangements using gorgeous white Calla Lilly's. I was so very pleased with my bouquet! The flowers were more beautiful than I could ever imagine. Second, the flowers for the reception were spectacular. Jodi created close to 100 arrangements using absolutely brilliant giant dark blue hydrangeas! We had so many compliments on our reception flowers. Our guest were in awe! We expected more for what we paid for. Several of the flower pieces did not meet our expectations, based on what we were sold on. A lot of details were off. I would have been willing to pay more if we were carefully explained sizing etc. On our wedding day, we were incorrectly charged a very high amount, which later was corrected, but still put a damper on my day for a couple of minutes. The whole process could have been more organized. Communication is key, and professional. I wish we would have had a sample sizing of our pieces, that would have been helpful. I had a nightmare of an experience with Jodi. Two people I work with recently got married and highly recommended her but I can't say I agree. 4 days before my wedding and my final payment for my flowers still isn't processed and I'm sent an invoice for final payment with $400 of extra product that I never ordered! She had credit card information 2 weeks prior that she lost (scary thought!) Her assistant Michael can't tell me what is going on and is completely unprofessional. Jodi wouldn't return any of my calls. I had one of my bridesmaids call her to tell her to call me back! I finally had to block my number using *67 in order to get her to answer. She later called my husband to apologize but didn't have the guts to call me, how parhCome wedding day I had some of the smallest corsages for my girls that I have ever seen! The flowers weren't even that nice. What a ripoff!This lady is Unorganized and unprofessional....use another florist. Edit: So Flowers By Jodi has since denied avoiding my phone calls or losing my credit card information. Oh and they supposedly left me messages which never happened. No response to the subpar flowers that were given to me and were highly offended by my brutally honest review. Too many wrongs here that are too unusual to be inaccurate. Avoid at all costs. I was really excited to shop for my wedding flowers before my meeting with Jodi. However, that excitement quickly turned into shock when Jodi explained me me right off the bat that she believed my wedding colors (coral, tangerine and yellow) didn't look good. She began pushing hot pink on me. However, my colors were already set in stone. We bought bridesmaids dresses, ordered tuxes and, regardless, I didn't want hot pink nor Jodi's opinion. I'm thankful my Maid-of-Honor was there as she did her best to salvage the appointment. Jodi finally told us to hold off on choosing the exact colors until 10 days before the wedding once the bridesmaid dresses came in. I was not exceptionally thrilled with this idea as I like to plan a head. We continued on with the appointment. I had gotten an overview of Jodi's packages at a bridal show, which is what prompted me to make the appointment. She appeared to be more affordable than other florists. However, as we picked out flowers for my wedding. She never informed me that I was choosing upgraded flowers. When she finally handed me the quote at the end of our meeting the feeling of shock continued when I saw that it was double what I was expecting. To be fair, I did add on aisle petals but still... I decided that I would chalk this up to a misunderstanding and try to get my quote down to the regular price. I e-mailed Jodi's assistant but by the time he e-mailed me back I had already met with and booked another florist (Thee Weddings & Event Warehouse) who provided me with better service, value and price. I don't believe my situation is the norm but would caution those considering meeting with Jodi. read more

We were so lucky to have found Jodi. Our wedding was something different: a Scottish Wedding. I had looked at a UK floral magazine to show to Jodi. One requirement was thistle for the best man, for good luck. She not only knew what I was talking about, she was able to get all kinds of flowers that aren't readily available. I was so amazed! Our colors were blue and clover green and she tied the two into my bouquet (and the rest of the bridal party) beautifully. I was very VERY picky about the flowers, making sure they were fresh, durable bouquets, even the floral spray bouquets for the mothers were perfect. I still have my bouquet, almost two years later it is still perfectly bound and is on our mantle. She worked within our budget and even came up with some ideas that I had never considered! I work at a custom bakery where we do weddings all the time and I always mention Jodi!!! She is so personable, and treats her brides with excitement. Jodi loves her job and it shows. I can't even begin to describe how incredible Flowers by Jodi is - if you're looking for wedding flowers, just stop now and go with Jodi, trust me. I interviewed 3 different florists for my wedding, and all of them were more expensive, less responsive, and offered fewer floral options than Jodi did. Many of them had a "minimum order" requirement, which sucked because my wedding was extremely small - I didn't need to order extra flowers I couldn't use! Jodi didn't have any of these stipulations - there was no minimum order I had to meet, no trying to talk me out of my ideas for flowers. Jodi has several giant photo albums so, if you're like me and only have a general idea of what you want, she will go through the albums with you to make sure you know exactly what you're getting and she knows exactly what you have in mind. She also has color schemes and lists of flowers (with pictures) for you to pick from. I can't emphasize how helpful this was - having photos to see how the flowers looked in other people's weddings was AWESOME. We both were on the same page, which is really important when you're planning a wedding! Her prices were also the BEST out of all the florists I interviewed - my husband and I paid for the wedding ourselves, and our budget was tight. When I told Jodi our budget, she didn't even blink an eye (and trust me - some florists were pretty rude when I told them our budget :() Jodi worked with us to get us the best flowers that were in line with our budget. Best of all? We got more flowers with Jodi than we were quoted at any other florist. Best BEST of all? The flowers were drop dead gorgeous. My bouquet was huge, the reception flowers were stunning, and we received so many compliments the day of our wedding. I can't emphasize what a pleasure it was to work with Jodi. She always answered my calls (even when I completely changed the color scheme on her 2 weeks before the wedding... thank you Jodi!), she worked within my budget, her staff was so nice, and the flowers were beyond what I expected.
