Our family has ordered flowers from Desert Poppy twice and both arrangements came out gorgeous! The arrangements have so much detail, creative touches, and love in them. The owner is VERY sweet and you can tell she has a real passion for what she does. Everything she creates is art. The shop is also beautifully decorated and smells lovely. I can't recommend this shop enough if you want to make an impression with your flower arrangements!
We received an absolutely beautiful anniversary rose arrangement. 5-stars for arrangement, but there was a snag with delivery detailed below. Out-of-state friend ordered this arrangement. Unfortunately we were away for several days when florist attempted delivery. Our friend said she gave instruction to call us prior to delivery but we did not receive any calls. Neighbor watching our home found the 'sorry we missed you' hang tag. We texted Desert Poppy for re-delivery and they arrived promptly at agreed time. The flowers were gorgeous but they only lasted a couple days because I think they had waited in the florist's cooler for several days already. Given that this order was probably taken during the Mother's Day rush, I expect they were really busy and somehow the details of calling before delivery got missed. Anyway, the flowers were lovely, just wish they would have been fresher so we could have enjoyed longer. Call before delivery is ALWAYS a good idea. I thought this was standard procedure during pandemic, but maybe not now?
Received an amazing flower arrangement for Mother's Day from my son and daughter-in-law. Most arrangements you order over phone for delivery are so predictable, but this one took my breath away. I will pass this business to all of my friends. Five stars!!!!!!
The most beautiful flowers I have ever seen in my life are here! The owner is super friendly, very honest, and a true blessing! I stop in here often to get simple arrangements for my wife because my wife like simple... However her large arrangements are breathtaking as well! Highly recommended, the only place I buy flowers from.
Loved my flowers for my elopement. Gini did an amazing job! :) the flowers lasted the whole trip and she was able to think fast and work with me when we got the pick up date mixed up! Thank you again Gini for the beautiful bouquet.
Gini and her staff are magical florists! Their work is so beautiful, unique, and eye-catching for any event. We worked with Desert Poppy for our wedding and couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. We did an initial consultation to identify what we were looking for such as specific flowers, colors, and configurations and had several more collaborative exchanges throughout the planning process to get everything to our liking. We had our wedding in October when it was still a bit hot outside so the staff did several trips to our venue throughout the day to drop off flowers for myself and my bridesmaid, then for our ceremony, then for our cocktail hour and reception. Keeping the flowers out of the heat kept them in great condition and allowed them to last longer. They also helped with the tear down process, and donated our remaining flowers to local hospitals and nursing homes. The flowers turned out beautiful both in person and the way they were captured in photos. They are a huge focal point for me when I look back at our photos. I am so grateful to have worked with Gini to make my vision come to life!

All my recipients have loved their flowers as well. Thank you for keeping my flower gifting on point! :) no two arrangements are the same and that's what I love! Gini truly brought my vision to life. We wanted a super modern, clean feel. I showed her a few Inspo pics, but the work she did was better than I could have ever imagined. She's incredibly talented and I love how she provided me with tips and feedback through the planning process. I loved working with her and also thought her pricing was extremely competitive.
What an amazing shop! From the decor, to the customer service, and of coarse the most beautiful assortment/bouquet of flowers that I've ever had the pleasure of getting someone. My girlfriend was in Ahhh after receiving them at work and told me that it was the most beautiful assortment of flowers she's ever seen. I called from out of state to order flowers for my sister in the hospital. I was impressed with everything from start to finish about the experience. Gini was great and worked with me to determine budget and I provided her with all of the details to help her get an idea of what I was looking for and enable her to design a floral arrangement suitable for a hospital setting. She promised me that a beautiful arrangement would be delivered later that same day. All I can say is Wow! Great job! Gorgeous flowers, delivered on time and within my budget. My dad just celebrated his 70th birthday and I wanted to have a special "masculine" mixed floral/succulent arrangement delivered to surprise him. I'm so happy that I found Desert Poppy!! I ordered flowers from the friendly owner midday on a Friday & this beautiful arrangement was delivered the next day to my dad! She provided a beautiful quality, unique arrangement with the colors that I had requested.
