They were completely prepared for the event with the flowers bundled, vases ready to go, snacks/drinks available along with plenty of help available for the group. Instructor was very knowledgeable about the various flowers and also very supportive of each person as they worked through building their arrangement. Overall, the final products were beautiful and everyone seemed to have a great time. Hope to attend more classes like this in the future! read more

I ordered the Nordic Greens Centerpiece and was really disappointed with what I picked up. I understand that arrangements may vary from the photos online, but this didn't feel like a thoughtful variation at all. The photos show a lush, airy arrangement with layers of winter greens and two elegant candles rising out of it. What I received was a very dense, flat mound of mostly one or two types of greenery, with the candles just stuck in. There's no shape, movement, or dimension to it it honestly looks like someone just threw greens in and called it a day. For the price point, I expected something that at least looked like the same style and level of care as what's advertised, not something that feels rushed and generic. read more

Drove 2 hours round trip to pick up an order I had previously placed online. Arrived shortly after my pickup window and they tried giving me a sloppily thrown together $20 arrangement of Home Depot plants that I paid $300 for. Was at the shop for almost an hour while they tried remaking it. Came out again with 95% Home Depot style plants. Had to break the surprise to my wife because she had specifically found the picture months ago and she confirmed I wasn't crazy and that it all looked terrible and nothing like the picture. Manager later confirmed and specifically said that they didn't have "anything as cool" as in the picture on their own website. While I ended up having to cancel my order, manager refused to give any courtesy discount on anything else for their mistakes and 3 hours of my time wasted. read more

This past Valentine's Day I wanted to surprise my girlfriend at her work by sending her a beautiful bouquet of peonies from her favorite flower shop. I called first thing in the morning and of course every flower shop is going to be busy on Valentine's Day but the gentleman, who struggled for a bit on the phone , said he would get them right out to her. It was $135 plus delivery for a bouquet with decorative leaves. She was getting ready to leave work so I asked if anything was delivered to her. She said nothing was delivered so I had to tell her there should have been a bouquet delivered to you today. Fast forward to the next day I had called in to ask for a refund since they were not delivered. The gentleman on the phone, who was still struggling, did refund the amount. He proceeded to say "I'll get you next year". Which gave me a good laugh. My girlfriend texted me later in the day and said the flowers got delivered. A day late but ok that was nice to refund and still send the flowers. Once she got home I was so glad these flowers were not delivered on time because they were the most atrocious looking flowers I had ever seen. The box the flowers came in was the nicest thing. You could get a nicer bouquet at Fry's for $120 less. If you are looking for quality flowers this is not the place. Plenty of better florists in the valley read more

However, the last couple of times I have received bouquets from them, the flowers have started to wilt and dry out within a couple of days, even though I follow the watering instructions. I prepaid $228 for two bouquets for Mother's Day 6 days in advance. I arrived at my exact pick up time and the staff said they closed 90 minutes previously. They asked to see my order information and then rushed in and hastily assembled two tiny bouquets that wouldn't sell for a third of the price at any other florist. Fast forward 5 days after Mother's Day and this is what the flowers look like now with no intervention on my mother's part besides changing the water. Although the plant wasn't delivered during the time slot I picked, I wasn't too upset because I was so last minute. I will not be a customer to your business anymore. I used to brag about your shop, the delivery wrap service I had for nearly two years, the quality and the service. I have purchased flowers for nearly 10 years starting at the Camelback location. I called and asked for a delivery for my birthday because it had been a while. Spent $105 only to receive someone elses flowers. Hours later I received "my flowers". I should have kept the other order instead of being honest. The card had someone else's name on it. When I received my order I was confused. I know what your shop is capable of. I chalked it up to "COVID" and took them home. Everyone at my law firm (I had bragged) we're completely underwhelmed. They were overwhelmed by the Fry's flowers my attorney bought me. My kids were confused. They would bring in the subscription flowers so they knew what Camelback Flowers were capable of. So, when I received a "thank you email" I made my displeasure known. At first I was encouraged as I received a return email and then was asked to provide a photo and what my favorite colors and flowers were. So, when I showed up today at 3:30 I was hopeful that my favorite flower store was still my place. I was wrong. What completely "did me in" was the tulip bundle thrusted in my direction by a dismissive employee not concerned with my continued purchases. Why ask me what colors and flowers I like and then produce a bundle of one type of flower - which were none of the color and selection you requested I provide? BTW, I don't like tulips. A few of the fancies sure, but regular filler tulips don't last long and why would I want a bunch of the same thing? I'm actually offended. I gave this place two tries. I ordered for Valentine's Day and now for our anniversary. Honestly they have nice quality flowers but they are very underwhelming. I was extremely specific about what I wanted for our anniversary gift, as my girlfriend loves ranunculus. I wanted a very dark theme one the flowers and as many ranunculus as possible. We instead got a very bright colorful arrangement with 4 ranunculus total. For a 200$ arrangement, I expected mostly what I was asking for. What a lovely and accommodating flower shop. The Camelback Flower Shop does a beautiful job with flowers and while my order was for a simple hostess arrangement, the pictures they have showing what they can do for larger functions, like weddings, would have me checking them out if I lived in the area. I was visiting friends for dinner and wanted to take a unique hostess gift. Wine would have been the easy choice, but flowers are always a better choice. I called up the morning of my dinner hoping to have the flowers delivered, but I was out of luck as their delivery van had already left for the day. No problem said the woman on the phone. She would put something together for me that I could pick up later in the day on my way to the dinner. Perfect. The woman on the phone made me laugh when I asked her opinion on whether I should get cut flowers that my hostess could arrange or a finished arrangement. The response I got was something straight out of an etiquette manual, "Emily Post says that a hostess has enough things to worry about than to put flowers in water. You should get an arrangement in a vase". And so I did. The flowers that I later picked up were perfect. A square low vase filled with a "Spring assortment" (I was actually wondering if that would look different out here in the southwest than at home, but it didn't) of hydrangea, pink roses, and other interesting filler flowers I had no idea what they were. The flowers were boxed to ease in my transport and I was on my way. The prices aren't cheap. This arrangement was comparable to something that I would get at a high end shop in Chicago. But the friendly service, willingness to help and the lovely arrangement made it all worthwhile. But the best part of the whole experience? Seeing my friend's face light up as I got out of the car. A bottle of wine just doesn't have the same effect. Flowers are always the perfect choice. And I bet Emily Post would agree with me on that as well. read more

I received a message the day that they were to be delivered that no one was home and they could not deliver, I immediately responded to leave them at the door. My friend never got the flowers. I never received a call from Camelback flowers, so I called them two weeks later and at that time they informed me that the delivery address was not in their delivery area and it could not be delivered, but that they would refund me my money. One week later I still had not received my refund so I had to call again, and the manager Marie stated that she would refund my credit card at that time. I'm disappointed with the entire transaction and wish their customer service would have at a minimum apologized. Overall it is too bad because their gift sets are absolutely beautiful. read more
