Really cool flower shop with great employees. Came in to just browse and get a couple flowers and the associate showed us flowers they had available and told us a bit about them. We eventually picked a few single flowers and the associate turned them into a cute bouquet for us. They are also moving locations just down the street, so a lot of vases and other flower needs are on sale. So we got a vase as well for half off. Even full price it was only $7 so not too bad. Some of the flowers are a bit pricey, but they are all great quality. I'm curious to see the new location as this current location is very cool with large windows and a rustic spiral staircase in the center of the shop. Definitely check them out for your flower needs and get some vases and other pots while they have their moving sale going on. read more

Came in here to pick up a corsage for my girlfriend on her bridal shower day and was so impressed with the quick and easy curbside pickup! Their online ordering is a breeze and then you simply pull up and they snag your order + bring it to your car for you! I'm also just a huge fan of everything that they do. I found this place when my dad sent me birthday flowers (same day local delivery if you order by 2) & have been hooked ever since! Everything in the store is beautiful, well curated perfection! They have a succulent bar where they will help you pot succulents (you can even bring your own pot/vessel). Their fresh flower happy hour every Friday is my favorite! Half of loose stems from 1-6 and they always have some small pre-made bunches out together as well. After checking out Camelback Flower Shop online, I was really impressed by their more modern style. All of their arrangements seem young and cooler than some of the other more dated flower shops. So after chatting with them online about what I want and receiving a quote, I took the plunge and ordered my wedding bouquet from them. I also ordered corsages, boutonnieres and my maid of honor's bouquet. Everything turned out gorgeous!!!! They are a tad bit pricey but you are certainly paying for quality! We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the ONLY vendor who wouldn't work with us at all. We gave them 3 weeks notice and we NEVER signed a contract. The owner was rude and unapologetic for the circumstances. They said "no one else is cancelling their wedding because of this" which is a lie. Our hotel that we were going to stay at closed. The restaurant closed. Our city in Texas is on lockdown and we couldn't travel to Phoenix for our wedding even if we wanted to. All we wanted was to use the money paid toward our wedding later on this year. They literally took our money and we got NOTHING for it. I would never recommend this company. read more

I just had the best, however brief, experience here and I wanted to let everyone know. I'm an event planner and I was in desperate need of one more bunch of blue thistle. Some of the regular spots that I visit came up empty so I gave Camelback Flowershop a call. Lauren answered the phone right away and she was so helpful. Hooray! They had what I needed. She immediately took my card information over the phone so I could just run in and pick them up...I was in a huge rush and the clock was ticking. When I got to the store, I was cheerfully greeted by two enthusiastic staff members...I'm sorry I didn't get their names. But the shop was hoppin'. It was very busy but there were my blue thistle...wrapped, and ready to go. I want to say that however brief my encounter was with this team, it was all positive, I felt valued and completely assisted and I so appreciated the great customer service. Kudos to the team! The arrangement was beautiful and I bought it from the case. One stock flower was replaced, however the associate told me that the flowers should last a week and the Peonies would open up fully. The 3 rating is because the peonies wilted after 1.5 days and were the first to have to be pulled from the arrangement. They did not open fully either. The arrangement was gorgeous but I will not purchase one from the case again. I have a feeling this was left over from the previous week. I will be back, but will insist on a fresh arrangement for $125, the main flower should have lasted longer than 2 days and opened up. To summarize, pricey but beautiful work. Don't buy from the case, unless you just need it for a day or so. I will try them again....but for a FRESH arrangement - not pre-made from case. ps - yes I re-trimmed the stems and replaced the water as well. My $12.99 bunch of roses from Whole foods purchased the same day are in better shape than this $125 arrangement. read more

I vaguely remember receiving attractive floral arrangements from this place over the years but today, my young adult daughter ordered me a sweet arrangement for a special birthday and it arrived in such poor condition that our guard SENT IT BACK! Hahahaha! She told me "I told 'em 'these flowers are DEAD! Take them back and bring this lady some live flowers!" Hilarious. What is a little less amusing is what happened next which is that the shop texted me at work and tried to A. convince me to come home from work to accept the delivery, since the guard wouldn't and B. engaged in a bit of gaslighting about how people just didn't understand ranunculus then C. went radio silent when it turned out that I'm familiar with how they're supposed to look and D. called my daughter and finagled her into arranging for someone to be home to accept the delivery. LOVE LOVE LOVE! For living in Scottsdale there are very few luxury floral shops. Having used their main competitor a couple of times, I was turned onto camelback by a friend. I will not go back to the competition after more than one bad experience. Camelback Flowershop all the way! Fast forward to today when I picked up my arrangement. Although the arrangement was beautiful, it was not really what I wanted. My order had gotten lost in translation by a new employee and the staff at Camelback Flowershop wanted to do anything they could to help. They even offered to make arrangement on their day off. I decided to keep the arrangement they put together because it really was pretty and came to a more than generous agreement with the shop. They even entered my floral preferences into the computer for future orders. Orchids are usually planted in a plastic liner pot to provide for watering once a week, then draining excess water. As a previous florist, I carefully selected a flower shop for a funeral arrangement. Camelback Flowers does have good quality flowers, but they did not create the display that I paid for. I gave them a detailed picture of a mauve/pink cascade and paid a significant price to ensure it was full and similar in floral selections to the picture. My only request was that it absolutely had to have carnations in it. They put every flower imaginable EXCEPT carnations. As a grieving family member, I let my disappointment in the main floral display go, but it looked nothing like the picture. I will not be giving them repeat business. An associate also called me prior to the funeral asking for me my deceased family member's phone number..... total lack of care and compassion. read more

We received a floral arrangement from Camelback Flowershop recently. Upon receiving it, I noticed it had no card. So, I ran back outside and asked the delivery person who it was from. He said he was told to take the cards off when he delivered the arrangements. So, I asked him "then how would I know who it was from." His answer was, "good question." He went back in his truck and brought me the little envelope with the card in it and I found out it was from our daughter. In addition, once I went inside and looked at the arrangement I was really not impressed. I'm not a flower guy, so I sent a picture to my daughter to see same. She agreed. She isn't one to complain but I couldn't help myself. I called the shop, talked to Denise, explained the aforementioned details and said you should provide my daughter some consideration on this purchase. I was told to send a picture and they would get back to me. I did so and never HEARD back from them. Sad but customer service is becoming a thing of the past. read more
