Located in the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Car Rental Center, this cafe provides coffee, sandwiches and pastries. I ordered the breakfast croissant and a latte. The service was fast, the food/coffee was hot and the lots of natural light and open layout, so easy to get around.

Coffee bar is always so clean and welcoming!

Today was the day to experience this spot after taking family to the airport. It's about a 10 minute drive from there. Location on a busy corner and not a lot of parking, so time of arrival can be limited to find a space. We were there just prior to noon, so there were a few parking spots open. You can take your food to go or they have some inside seating and a nice outdoor patio. So many sweet treat! Danishes, dessert's, pastries, cookies breakfast items, sandwiches, fresh baked breads, and so much more. The time, passion, & energy is what makes this place incredible. The croissants are so flaky and exactly like what you would find in Europe & France. It is nothing like the breads baked we usually find here. Better imported ingredients make for better quality products. They have different flavors which can range from plain to filled with various flavors. A stand out to try next time is their pistachio. We got the homemade chicken salad- delicious. The Croque Monsieur sandwich was rich, salty, savory & devine. Definitely perfect for two to share. They will toast it upon request. Highly recommend. Drinks-Biscoff Cookie Cold Brew & The Hawaiian Latte. My cold brew was decent. My daughter thought the latte was the BEST she's had yet in AZ! Missed out on the famous viral cruffin' The cinnamon is the one I want to get a hold off. My daughter was bummed they were sold out of the earl grey macaron. Those are her favorite cookie ever! Little pricey IMO; but again paying for ALL that I had mentioned above. (see receipt in pics) *Early mornings when they first open is the best selections, yet there's gonna be a wait. Good thing is; the menu is constantly rotating so there's always something to look forward to experiencing!

The egg salad was on point (not many places can pull that off confidently, but they definitely do), and the lemon pastry was so good. Everything we tried was excellent. Highly recommend. The theme is (as one might suspect) songbirds and the entire Cafe is decorated with small songbird items. As a detail oriented person, I was in heaven noticing all the cute decorations. I ordered the matcha latte and it did not disappoint. My friend ordered an iced americano. Both are classic items and they delivered well. There is plenty of seating inside and outside (weather permitting) and it seems like it would be a peaceful place to study or work. The baristas were sweet and patient and helpful with the menu.

Songbird Coffee & Tea House is a cute coffee house in downtown Phoenix (more specifically near the…read moreRoosevelt Row Arts District) and the shop is located in a historic house built in 1904. Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

There…read moreis a small parking lot out front shared with other businesses, including the tattoo/piercing shop next door "In The Streets Tattoo" nowned by the same folks as Xolo Coffee! I was specifically interested in their piercings (Side note, I asked if Xolo Tacos is also owned by them, but it isn't). I visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, just missing the late morning rush, so I had ample options to choose from regarding seating (there's couches, tables, stools)! As a first-timer who loves specialty coffees, I inquired about which drink might be the sweetest and best suited to my tastes, and through shared decision-making, we decided on the Azucar Morena! It's comprised of brown sugar and molasses, which satisfied my taste buds and coffee fix. There wasn't a wifi password sign anywhere, but upon inquiry, I received it and proceeded to chill for an hour or so before closing. I loved that they kept the door open to let in more natural lighting and fresh outside air on that serene Sunday afternoon. Overall highly recommend this coffee shop for delicious, unique specialty coffees. I can't wait to return to try more, including the pistachio espesso and cafe de olla! Or I might even stick to my azucar morena that I loved so much

So, when I walked into the building entrance with intentions to see an art exhibit & I was punched in the face with the intoxicating smell of coffee I HAD to try it, obviously. & they didn't disappoint. The person that took my order made some helpful & honest recommendations, which I appreciate! Considering I don't want to commit to an $8 coffee I'm not going to enjoy, no thanks. I ordered something off the seasonal menu...I think? To be honest I can't recall exactly what drink I ordered but it was iced & about $8 & I asked for light on the caramel. I had to be quick since I was meeting someone & we had limited time. Coffee came out pretty quick & it was a good choice! Great balance of flavor, not too sweet, coffee was smooth. Not too much ice either. I would definitely order again. The space was cool too, lots of natural light, lots of people working. It is located inside of a giant brick building shared with other spaces, parking is limited unless you have handicap parking then no worries there. They also have reserve spots for Coffee Drunk although limited. Or street parking. Now I'll definitely have to check out the LB location!!
