My driving lol
Jessica C.

I had A really good experience renting a car here. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me out and most importantly got me on my way quickly since I had all my documents and everything ready to go. I was given a hybrid that was in decent shape. It was a little dirty on the inside like the previous driver didn't have super high standards of cleanliness but I took care of that soon enough. Car runs and drives like a dream and I'm averaging almost 50 miles to the gallon!

My new free Lanyard! Woohoo.

Super Star Car Wash

Super Star Car Wash

Luis in the auto shop always takes care of me and my wife. We needed a tune-up, transmission flush,…read moregas treatment, and oil change for our black Honda Accord. As usual, we were in and out within 1.5 hours. Above and beyond service as I suspect they were able to fix my driver-side window that was causing me issues over the past six months. We typically use synthetic for this vehicle. Earlier in the year we were able to do an oil change with Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Baseline near the 202 Extension (new location). We were charged synthetic prices but our oil change sensor had us at 10% within three months with limited mileage - more or less, we weren't given synthetic, but charged as if we were. This has never been the case with the shop at Super Star who we've been using for at least 5 years.

I asked the attendants before each car wash at two different locations and they confirmed this but nonetheless, at the end of the wash I had to ask why they didnt vacuum, or even wipe down anything with a simple wet rag and not even conditioner. The manager lied and said he watched them do it. Lol i was speechless. There was literally crumbs on my door rail, on the floor, and still smudges on my dash and around the outside of the cupholder. He said that needs a full detail. Something that two attendants confirmed were included in the service they just sold me a day prior actually needs a full detail... amazing. I tipped the attendants but I regret it. Anyway, they are a complete scam. They also won't give you the online price so beware of that when shopping around. The prices are actually $15 a month more than advertised. Also, if you're the customer service team and you're reading this. Please don't comment to email in. We all know that takes forever and the person who replies doesn't care.

Big O Tires Store - Diagnostic done but not fully inspected

Immediately impressed with her, couldn't wait to take my truck in for an oil change. She was very pleasant on the phone. Drove a few miles down the mountain to the Baseline location and was immediately greeted by Jackie and another gentleman. Forgot his name, but his greeting was very inviting. I explained that I made an online appointment for 9:00am, spoke with Jackie and she told me to come in per my online appointment. Here comes the "upsell and corporate shenanigans". He immediately pulled out his "trifold corporate upsell pamphlet" and began his sales pitch. I told him that I simply needed an oil change and his response was that they'll do a complete overview check of my vehicle for free. And yes, I did tell him my "check engine light" was on. I asked how long it would take and he told me a couple hours. I told him that I didn't have a couple hours as I had other appointments that day (conservatively, with an appointment, I figured an oil change would take 30 minutes). He then asked me to schedule another appointment in the future, and I agreed for two days later. I left Big O Tires feeling a bit discouraged, but I wasn't about to lose sleep over this. As I was driving home, westbound on Baseline, I decided to stop at Take 5 oil change. Was immediately greeted by a young man named Jose. Told him that I needed a simple oil change. He said he could do the work within 15 minutes, great! As I was pulling up, I went online and retrieved a $25 coupon that I applied. Fast, simple, satisfied! That's all I wanted for Mr. Big O's, but no. I completely understand that the business climate these days are extremely difficult and that businesses like Big O Tires have goals to meet, I get it. But the way a business earns your trust goes like this: 1. Proper greeting 2. Ask questions to uncover the guests needs 3. Offer solutions to their needs 4. Keep them connected to the brand Simple. Taking care of the guests' initial needs is paramount. Then, when all is said and done, you can offer/suggest other mechanical services and really detail what their business is all about. I totally get the corporate world; doesn't mean I have to agree with it. I'll never go back to Big O Tires Stores. Five hours after I made my online appointment with Big O Tires, I received a confirmation that my appointment is set, five hours ago, at 9:00am. I've read other reviews and there seems to be a common denominator, time. I hope this review is helpful to potential customers, good luck!

I brought my car in and he even offered a ride home for me and my toddler if we needed. After a few hours of my car being at their shop I was given an update that they were running behind schedule. Joe apologized and asked if he could keep my car overnight to finish the job. Knowing it wasn't the most ideal, he immediately offered up my oil change free of charge and again apologized. He let me know he would give me a call in the morning with an update. I received a call around 10:30 am letting me know they weren't able to locate the leak but they would do the evac and recharge and go from there. Shortly after that conversation he called back to let me know the leak had been located, repaired and my car was ready for pick up. I received my oil change free and he threw in a few extra discounts. He also went over a few things my car could use, but in no way did he pressure me or try to upsell me anything. I am so appreciative to have my A/C blowing cool air again, just in time for this AZ summer heat and the best part... it didn't break the bank, which I was worried it would. The customer service, communication, transparency and the service all met my expectations. I'll be taking my car in to Midas for all my service needs.

I was even told that the person who worked on my truck was intentionally using wrong parts and not actually fixing vehicles, so had to be fired.
