Edward went above and beyond to clean the vent, spending much more time than he anticipated. It turns out that there were items in the vent pipe causing a significant lint buildup. This not only caused the dryer to take a long time to dry clothes, but also presented a significant safety issue. Edward was courteous, professional, and provided a valuable service for us and our home. His pricing was better than some of the larger companies I contacted, and I always like to support small local businesses when I have the chance. Give Edward a call!

I didn't notice until the following morning they had hit my car with that giant blue thing they lug around and it had pushed in my backup sensor. So now I get to hear a fun high pitched sound whenever I back up until it's fixed. I also noticed they had turned my basement breakers off and never turned them back on. My reptile room and incubator are in the basement as well. They're on timers so I didn't notice until I went to do cleaning and feedings. Thankfully they were ok. Accidents happen but they took zero responsibility when my husband called on Monday and basically called us liars. The cost to fix my sensor is more than what we were charged for the service, so I'd say they're not worth it. The person that hit it knows they hit it and chose to not say anything at the time and then chose to straight up lie about it. Find a more honest company when choosing a place that has to come inside your home. One that accepts their employees don't walk on water and accidents happen. Instead of blaming your customers.

I have never been disappointed in having Angelo Chiodo for many years. When I called the clerk on the phone was quick to set up my appointment also. I had them do yearly servicing on the boiler for the last three years and then had them repair it in February - March 2026 when there was a problem with very low heat. The problem was not correctly addressed. At no time did they check to determine that most of the water had drained out of the boiler. They said I needed a new aquastat and replaced it but set it to 200 degrees (about 40 degrees higher than needed). When I had a technician from a company that knows how to service boilers look at it, the inside was very dirty (had not been getting regular cleaning, although I had paid for maintenance each fall). He discovered that the water had drained out, that it needed flushing, and has repaired the boiler.

The first two workers sent out did not even have a shop vac to clean the floor They used a broom. They painted Kilz latex paint over the dirty floor, tracked the paint through our house, did not finish but demanded a check for over $600. The next worker a couple days later to arrive did not have painting supplies, borrowed our roller. He also did not finish the job. When the paint was dry I went down to document the poor job with pictures. I found I could peel the paint up. I also found where the concrete was pitted, paint was poured in and still pooled. The final worker to come to finish the job was a contractor. He said the job was not done properly, the floor should have been sealed with another product. He did the best he could to finish the job with the Kilz. He took pictures and was going to discuss the poor job with the manager. We made several calls and sent an email. They only offered to clean the paint tracked on our rugs. This company obviously poorly trains its workers and once paid could care less about its customers.

I asked if we could discuss a few things on it and the he kept saying he'd call but never did. I tried calling him a few times but eventually gave up. Part of their sales pitch is that they come out for emergency calls for their customers and how there's always someone available but if they can't even call me back to get a project started then why would I believe they'd actually show up when I needed a repair? Their quote was literally double the other quotes I had gotten and the markup on some items was ridiculous. The furnace model was listed on the quote so I looked it up and they were charging me nearly 5x what it cost.
