Not only did they install my new…read moregas‐fired steam boiler like absolute pros--complete with black‐painted pipes, a sweet RGB lightstrip, and careful floor protection--they also owned up to a small mishap with my stairs sagging from the heavy boiler. But let me tell you, their communication is top‐notch: Alex, one of their subcontractors, called me right away, and he's already working on a plan to get it fixed (with no doubt they'll go above and beyond to make it right!). Throughout the process, I could text or call anytime (and I mean any time) with questions. They were super responsive, even late in the evening while we hammered out the estimate details. If you have a gas‐fired steam boiler and want a crew who's totally obsessed (and insanely talented) with boilers, this is the team for you. They've got Dallis and James, who are basically boiler nerds in the best way--James even shows off his installs on socials, proud as can be, and it shows in how he focuses on both functionality & aesthetics. They handled a thermostat hiccup (my smart thermostat wouldn't play nice) by giving me a free Honeywell unit and making sure everything worked flawlessly. I got four quotes before choosing Hummingbird, and I'm so happy I did. If you're looking for HVAC pros who truly geek out about steam boilers--and keep you in the loop every step of the way--look no further! Hummingbird is where it's at. --- Had an amazing experience with Hummingbird HVAC during their estimate visit! Sam Gosson was fantastic--super friendly, super knowledgeable, and just an all-around great guy. Turns out he's a diehard Bills fan like me AND a fellow golfer, so we hit it off right away. You can tell Sam is obsessed with boilers (in the best way possible). It felt so reassuring knowing that our old house and its aging system were being looked at by someone who truly cares about these systems and how to upgrade them properly. I combed through other reviews of other services in the area and found many complaints on timeliness, quality of work, and follow through.
