The office sent out a young gentleman named Pat, who diagnosed the problem, got the proper parts to fix the toilet from his truck, and completed the job in a short time period. He cleaned up the area he worked on and made sure everything worked perfectly before he left. The charge for the visit, the parts and the labor was quite reasonable. I definitely will call BODEK again!! I am delighted with their service.

This was not an easy task, but they certainly knew what they were doing. They carefully removed 3 sidewalk blocks, then replaced them perfectly. They backfilled the area, and preformed yard restoration with seed and straw. All of our neighbors were beyond impressed! The workers were knowledgeable and very polite. We had contacted two other contractors regarding this job, both estimates were higher than Bodek. I asked our landscaper who he'd recommend and he stated, "If you want it done right, go with Bodek!" We are happy we chose them and highly recommend Bodek Inc.

I was ghosted by this company. I called Donohue Havlerson for a leaky toilet. Two guys came out and replaced the ring - $233. It still leaked, so John from the company came out and replaced the PVC flange - no charge. It still leaked. He came back and said he would need to replace the PVC flange with a metal one. He said he would come back later in the week. Never heard from him again - he stopped answering my texts. I've called the office 5-6 times, with no reply. Same with email. Haven't heard from them for 2 weeks, so I assume they ain't coming back. So I'm out $233, with a toilet that still leaks. All interactions with the company were friendly and professional, so this is a mystery. Bottom line: maybe Donohue Halverson will finish your job, maybe they won't.

He also walked us through the finished system after installation, taking time to explain how everything works and how to care for it going forward. The installation crew, Lee and Damian, were terrific throughout the installation. People dont understand that being a plumber in this day and age is tough with material allocation being insane. Homeowners don't understand how hard these guys have to work and they do work hard. They are professional, trustworthy and honest. Unlike other plumbers when they cut holes out of your wall they make a nice clean cut for easy patching and always clean up after themselves. They use moving blankets to protect the area they are working in and make sure to discuss the job with you before they start working. If you need quality service work these are the guys you want at your disposal. They are locals and very tight nit with the Ithaca community. One minute they are changing out your shower diverter amd an hour later they are installing steam piping at breweries. These guys do ALOT pf different jobs big and small. Give them credit where the credit os due. I dont care how many times they have to go get parts. Things change in a split second and your old ass house is the problem not them 100% of the time.

I had a plumber look at a water pressure issue (apparently nothing to be done about that, so no worries) and a dripping tap. The plumber disassembled the tap, told me they needed to order a part - as usual, these always require some brand specific cartridge - and they'd get back to me once they sourced it. He did not put the tap back together properly, so I had to figure out how to reassemble it myself, and Warden never called me back about the replacement part. Weeks later I still have a dripping tap. Would not call these folks again, guess I'll teach myself how to replace the cartridge on my own so I can be assured of a decent job.
