RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!! Lori is very unprofessional. I was trying to book an appointment with…read moretheir company to have services done. She yelled and screamed at me repeatedly. She even got me confused with another customer telling me I told her 1 thing when we hadn't even spoken because she delayed getting in contact with my landlord for preapproval. After our 1st encounter I started not to do business with this company but I went ahead on giving them the benefit of the doubt. So I made an appointment which she stated the job would take 3 hrs it took the entire day. 1 guy (Tom) came to isolate and sand down everything then (John) did the refinishing and glazing. Upon completion John left the isolation paper up stated that we needed to wait until it dried the tear down the paper. I would think the same way you came in contact with my bathroom is the same way you should leave it but ok. So about 1 hr after John left Me and My husband came to realize that there were 3 boot prints in the bed of the tub under the sealer. We immediately called John back to which he stated "We must have stepped in the tub". I was highly annoyed because we paid out of pocket and this was a low accusation to make as we never asked for money back but infact just for the job to be done properly. I took the day off from work and now was very unsatisfied as a customer. John grew Irate so my husband called him several times to which he ignored. I called him and he answered I gave my husband the phone and John referred to us as "YOU PEOPLE" and that he'd give us our money back and for us to never call them again. Lori left a nasty voicemail on my phone and also called my landlord saying that we were scammers and she'd better watch out as if we'd do the same to her. It was a very disgusting encounter with these 2. They offered to come back the next day to which I declined due to their behavior the previous day and the hate filled language they used as reference to me and my family. I just chalk it up as a loss but I would NEVER EVER recommend PERMA GLAZE/PERMA BATH. Perma Glaze Corporate says they were once franchisee and they were let go because they have horrible reviews and complaints lodged against them. BEWARE TAKE YOU MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!!

My mother-in-law hired this company to glaze her tub. 2 Young men came to do the job. They broke…read moreour shower door and after the job was done, and up to this day, the tub is NOT able to be used as a tub. You cannot sit on it as it is so rough and scratchy it hurts your skin. A week later, it started chipping in small places. To be fair, they did come back and "fix" it, but it's still basically unusable. A few weeks later, we started having issues with the tub draining and the toilet not flushing all the time. This went on for months. We finally called in a plumber for found a LARGE piece of the hardened "glaze" lodged in a drain pipe. We found out it was because when the original job was done, those two young men did not block the tub drain properly. Perma-Glaze was contacted and blamed US because the tub had been glazed TEN YEARS AGO! Sorry Perma-Glaze, this was your issue and UNPROFESSIONAL to blame the homeowner when it was CLEARLY YOUR shoddy work that caused the issue. This is disgusting. DO NOT hire this company!

John is a quirky guy, opinionated but full service. If your design ideas do not match his own, he…read morewill push against you. He repeatedly "corrected" our vision for a certain color combination. We worked together for 2 months to find the perfect flooring. Not once during the process did he mention he is CASH ONLY as he had one bad experience with a product only (no install) chargeback a few years ago. Since credit cards provide a lot of consumer protection in regards to warranty and paper trail records for warranties, we contacted the HQ for Floor Coverings International to ensure they would keep the records in case this local store goes out of business, as our flooring came with a 20 year warranty to the tune of $5000. The HQ staff was very helpful, they understood the problem with cash only records and offered to speak with John to see if he would accept a partial cash and partial credit payment to solve the problem. They also stated they had a similar problem with another location skipping town and leaving customers without service post-sale, so they understood our concerns as it's valid. They also pointed out John plans to retire soon so he won't be in business much longer likely however they would find another location owner to travel to us if need me. Southern hospitality at this HQ 100%. We texted and called multiple times to complete the sale over the next 2 weeks. After a 2 month working relationship with a contract in hand and ready to write him a check to begin work, John GHOSTED us without so much as a voicemail, letter, text, nothing. Highly unprofessional. After 4 weeks waiting for him to respond, giving consideration perhaps something had prevented him from replying, we ordered the same product from elsewhere and paid a few hundred more BUT we were able to get quick, friendly service, installation warranty, full product warranty, and use our credit card which gives us peace of mind long term for warranty records as well as cashback on the $5000+ purchase from our card issuer. Overall, we wanted to use John, HQ were reassuring and reasonable people, and he had better products than Endwell Rug or Discount Carpet. But, ultimately, someone who acts inscrutably pre-sale is going to be trouble post-sale. We are very happy with our new flooring and are bummed we could not support this small local business.

John installed new carpet in our conference rooms at both Jim Rollo State Farm Offices(Jim Rollo…read moreState Farm in Endwell and Jim Rollo State Farm in Binghamton). We received great advice regarding available carpet selections to stay within our budget. The installers were courteous, neat and did a quality work. We are very satisfied with everything.
