Being Vietnamese, finding Vietnamese food in the area is practically impossible and finding one with a good banh mi is even harder! Loved this place, their pork had a fantastic flavor. The sauce with the summer rolls was delicious and the beef is so tender in the banh mi. The spring rolls were okay but the rest of the grilled pork and rice was good. Wonderful food truck, I'll be stopping there everytime I can when I'm out there. Don't trust the ones who complain about their service... they just sound like some impatient Karens.

Fair portions for the price and there are plenty of places to sit around the level. I'm not sure if this is related to the Sagan palace restaurant over in Edgewater, but if it is, I will give that another try as well. Soups were gumbo and chili. Both looked homemade. We don't expect exactly the same dishes and were not disappointed in freshness, quantity, and uniqueness. Viet Taste has its own, I believe, interpretation of some mainline traditional dishes and we found them delicious and interesting. Midweek lunch for two that included two appetizers and two main dishes with water to drink cost about $50. There was enough left over for another meal. Service - Good (3). Pleasant and effective. Timing on service was unpredictable. Appetizers served after mains for example. Diners who arrived long after us were served before us. Yes, it may be that dishes are delivered when ready, but there was no messaging about delays. Ambiance - (1) needs work. Overgrown plants, unkempt sidewalk in front, and a grimy restroom with no paper towels were signs that some maintenance was needed. The entire space has the potential to offer a much better experience given size and furnishings. See photo of bathroom light switch plate. Next time we may opt for takeout. Overall good and interesting food unique for Salisbury. I hope they upgrade the environment and successfully remain in business.

The mango shrimp salad was phenomenal--bright, refreshing, and packed with flavor. It was the perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and savory, and honestly could've been a meal on its own. The fish sauce chicken wings were outstanding: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a rich, savory sauce that kept you reaching for another wing. We also had the bún bò Huế, which was bold and deeply flavorful with a nice level of spice--exactly what you want from this dish. The pho was comforting and well done, with a clean, aromatic broth and generous portions. The spring rolls were fresh and light, a great starter to balance out the heartier dishes. Overall, Pho Diner delivered on every dish we tried. Solid Vietnamese food with great flavors and variety. Definitely a spot worth coming back to if you're in the Pasadena area.

When I first started coming here it seemed to be managed by Vietnamese but now it appears to be all Latino staffed. Perhaps it changed hands. The quality it still similar, I just appreciate when the ethnicity of the food matches the staff, when possible. But, the staff is friendly and the service is quick. Only thing I don't like is that they are open until 9:PM but it seems if you come after 8:30 they are cleaning up and don't really want to serve you. They should serve until closing time. This is not uncommon in restaurants, but you know... sometimes you really want that bowl of Pho! The search engines list them as OPEN, but they really aren't. I like it and will keep returning. I think we only have 4 Pho places in the Annapolis area (this, Eastport, Severna Park and Davidsonville) so we need to keep them all in business! :)
