I'm not usually much of a soup person, but whenever I'm craving soup, this is one of the places I…read morecome to! I always get their large beef rib soup, and it never disappoints. Definitely a 5/5 for me! We also tried their NY steak, which comes with rice. I really liked it! The sauce is a little on the sweeter side, so I can see how some people might not like it, but personally, I enjoyed it. 5/5! We also got the teriyaki pork belly, and that was another 5/5. The marinade was just right--not too sweet and not too salty. I almost forgot--we also got the summer rolls! I didn't take a picture, but they were really good too. I read another Yelp review mentioning that they don't use the traditional wrap for their summer rolls. I guess the one they use has more of a chewy texture rather than being crunchy. I actually liked it! It didn't taste bad at all, so I think it's really just a matter of personal preference when it comes to the texture. As long as the food is good and the servers are great, I really can't complain! That's why this place continues to be one of my go-to spots. They haven't disappointed me yet! It wasn't busy when we went, so we got to choose whatever table we wanted. Usually, when it's busy, they'll seat us, and we've never had an issue. Another great meal! 5/5

3.5/5. First time here and here's the rundown:…read more Large Beef Back Ribs Pho: Easily the star of the night! Huge portion, a beautifully light and flavorful broth, and the beef ribs were tender and delicious. An absolute must-order! Tamarind Ribs: Tasty, though they leaned more toward classic sweet-and-sour. I personally wished for a bit more of that sharp, tamarind-forward punch. Spring Rolls: Served as 6 skinny half-pieces instead of the plump rolls I'm used to. Because they used flour wrappers instead of traditional rice paper, they lacked that fresh, satisfying crunch. We had a slight ordering hiccup/language barrier when our waiter repeatedly said "teriyaki pork" while taking our order, even though I kept specifying tamarind. He brought out teriyaki, but he quickly fixed it and brought the right ones out! To top it off, the manager unexpectedly took 10% off our bill for the mix-up. It wasn't totally necessary, but such a sweet, thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated! Pro Tip: It gets a little warm inside even with the AC cranking, so dress light! Overall great hospitality and delicious broth! We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu and grab those beef ribs again!

Check out the remodeled restaurant and revamped Chinese entrees and snacks plus local cuisine menu…read more My beliefs were restored after seeing the newer and improved space with much convincing from hubby. Luckily, we were in Waipahu again. Free, shared parking lot with other businesses. The staff greets all the customers. Restaurant seats up to 46 people comfortably inside. There's one table utilized for called via phone in advance, to go orders. AC blasting helped employees and patrons stay cool inside from warm Waipahu weather. Both to go containers were filled to the brim. I'm very selective and impressed with their beef broccoli and carrots. I loved everything from tender, marinated sliced beef, thinly sliced carrots and soft broccoli and gravy. One of the employees is forward thinking in wrapping the mapo tofu in cling or Saran Wrap to avoid spills. Loved the mapo tofu which tasted yummy and remained heat hot for my entire meal. Sauce had a little spice or kick. White rice tasted perfect and definitely complemented the sauce. Mac salad was a winner with light, cold mayo mixture, seasoned with some black pepper and grated carrots. Consumed everything with chopsticks and a spoon in my to go container. If dining in and need a spoon or fork, kindly ask employee. We're given silver utensils. Please return used metal cutlery in cup above trash. I'm happy to give this place another chance. More local customers arrived for to go orders or eat here upon dining in and leaving the premises.

Chicken katsu is juicy and crispy and the rice is nice and fluffy. The katsu sauce is ok, its too thin for my personal preference, I like um thick, so im not taking account for that. Service was ok. Over all you can't beat dat price and portion size, will come back again!

Bring Friends and Come Hungry…read more Bring a bunch of friends or your family so you can try as many different things as possible. Delicious Thai food made fresh on location. I came with my sister and nephew, and it was a foodie's delight. We wanted to try everything and somehow ended up buying enough food for an army. Definitely get the fried chicken. The curries and stir-fries were also so tasty. Just be careful with the green papaya and mango salads because they can bring the heat. Thank goodness for the sweet Thai iced tea that helped cool down my mouth when it was on fire. Bring cash. The lines are usually short and move quickly. There are tents, tables, and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your food. Come hungry and bring enough people to justify ordering way too much.

And some of the food lines can get long. There's multiple lines depending on what you want to order. The fried chicken line and the papaya salad lines are the most popular. They put out the weekend menu online through their social media pages so at least you have an idea before you get there. The fried chicken. Was super flavorful and crispy. I also enjoyed the spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Really great authentic Thai food that's affordable. The workers are all super friendly and the atmosphere is so welcoming. I'll be back for many more upcoming sundays.

Other Thai restaurants pack their curry with filler, but this place doesn't! Their curry is the absolute best and their staff are always welcoming snd friendly. I would just go here for the great food alone, but the great staff makes it with an easy 5 stars. Parking is a little rough here, but that's because people are always eating here so you may need to pack a little far away. There is only one handicap stall, and so be ready to walk a little. Pricing is fair. Things have definitely gone up, but if you want cheap Thai food you won't get this kind of quality. I easily spend $50 to $100 on two people when I eat here so it's more of a treat and not an every day meal. It's great food and so I only get to treat myself when I can afford it. We can't live in luxury every day, and this Thai food is definitely a luxury! Their current restaurant dining area itself has an authentic Thai vibe, and sometimes they even play Thai music on the digital screen in the dining area. If you eat here then prepare to be immersed in Thai culture!

It has been so difficult to find one as perfect as they were. So, we are very well experienced in Thai food even in Thailand multiple times. Ordered green chicken curry, Pad Si-Eiw, spring rolls, rice. The spring rolls were good, lettuce leaves were tiny but fresh, dipping sauce was great too. The green curry was so awful tasting that we didn't eat it. I've never had green curry that didn't even taste like thai green curry like this. Not sure if fill in cook at lunchtime or what but it didn't even have coconut cream in the sauce. Had to take home to fix this problem, worst ever and would never recommend. Same with the Pad Si-Ew. Totally flavorless! You could tell they just threw it together with precooked pork, precooked broccoli, and tossed it onto the noodles barely fried in a dead sauce of nothing. Another total failure. Do not recommend this or any if this is how they prepare their food. Rice was standard. Will never return to this location again. Can't imagine where or how the good reviews came from but from our experience, they weren't even close.
