This is the worst Vietnamese rest. I've ever eaten at. The pho soup I ordered had 2 large clumps of noodles stuck together and when the waiter could finally find time to come by our table after serving us, which by the way there were only 3 tables with other patrons at the time, His response was, sorry. Didn't offer a new bowl or a discount or removal of it from the bill. Also, in case you weren't aware, in proper Vietnamese restaurant's the fried eggrolls are supposed to come with lettuce leaves to wrap them in as well as mint leaves and shredded cucumber, carrots and pickled jicama. This place charges you extra for 3 lettuce leaves and you get none of the rest. They are also stingy with lime for their pho soup. The service is also horrible. This place is a joke! read more

This is my go-to place for pho in Eureka. The area can be sketchy at night especially when there's no parking in the front of the building and you have to park near the alley or on the street. Inside the restaurant it's quite clean, spacious, and comfortable. I've never had an issue with the service here (I typically just order pho, easy peasy) and there is one man in particular who is always so friendly and such a delight. With that said, I came to this town from Sacramento so I know what to expect from restaurants like these as far as service goes. The food has always been consistently pretty good. Their noodle bowls are delicious and great on a warmer day. The pho is the best Vietnamese pho you'll get in all of Humboldt county. Their rice plates... Vietnamese restaurant with "Pho" in its name so you think it should be good pho. Negative. Maybe the other food is good but I got the pho and man was it horrible. Pho pretty much relies on the broth and the broth tasted like it was at least 2 days old and it was really heated. The rice noodles were soggy and chewy at the same time. The meat wasn't bad it didn't seem like there was anything with the meat but everying else was awful. Again maybe the other food it good but the Pho definitely wasn't. We are passing by and stop at this city for a night. We went to the farmers market, but couldn't find any food from the food stands that look good. We went to this Pho place. Our server was new there. However, our orders were taken by the owner or manager, the guy who was in charge there. He messed up our order and when the food came, we told the server that the order was wrong. He went back and tried to correct them, but his boss yelling at him. We felt bad for the new guy, so we decided to just not bother to have them correct the order. He did bring extra tendon to compensate the mistakes. Both of our dishes were just the Pho noodles. They taste alright; not the best given we have lots of experience eating Pho. This would be on my NOT revisit list. read more

I love Pho y'all. I got the steak bowl and it was so good! The restaurant is a nice roomy place. They bring you water with cucumber in it and a menu when you are seated. They have pho, curry and some other dishes. They have beef chicken and seafood options for the pho. For me I'm sad that they seafood dishes don't offer shrimp otherwise highly recommend. read more

I have visited this place in the past, it was ok. The portions are small and unfortunately they have gotten smaller. I ordered A3 the BBQ pork spring rolls and they are half of the size. The pork inside texture wise was off, almost like it had been pounded out? It's weird. I used the online app to order, with out issues. The spring rolls cost $9 I also ordered the Rice bbq pork plate with an egg roll, the egg roll was garbage, almost no filling and small, the pork was ok , rice ok, the veggies were sparse 2 slices of cucumber 2 oz of spring mix, that's it. This place is ridiculously unsanitary and has one of the worst service I've ever experienced! There were hair and dirty particles in 2 out of the 3 pho and noodle bowls that my group ordered. Instead of acknowledging or at least offering some sort of apology, the server said "are you sure? I don't see it" after he had already grabbed the pieces of hair and examined them in his own hands. As he walked away, he told us to just ignore the hairs and do nothing. I tried to continue eating my chicken vermicelli bowl, but it was quite bland and had very few pieces of chicken, which were way too dry. I only came here because Annie's Cambodian was closed. Came in one evening for dinner - for a bowl of Pho Ga. Upon ordering, I double checked if the broth was going to be beef or chicken. I was advised I could have chicken broth with my Pho Ga! Yaaaayyyyy!!! Before the bowl came out, the waiter delivered one of the smallest plates of aromatics I've ever seen - and the Basil was mostly black and wilted. The bowl of Pho came out - steaming away. I added everything from the plate of aromatics/veggies - except for the wilted Basil. Overall, a decent, serviceable bowl of Pho Ga. I added some Sriracha sauce to the broth to kick up the spice/heat level a bit, as well as squirts of Sriracha sauce to bites of the rice noodles. Overall, a good bowl of Pho Ga. Theirs had no viscosity that comes from glutinous rice powder and the sweet/spicy/pungent you get from (Palm) sugar/Thai peppers/fish sauce was seriously FRICKING lacking. A friend and I got an order to go recently, and she introduced me to pho. Omg. Where has pho been all my life??! She ordered chicken and "all the stuff". We got a huge container of broth- enough for two big bowls, a separate container of meat, fresh green onions and fresh cilantro, bean sprouts, and noodles, and a bag of fresh herbs and a piece of lime. We took it back to the office and put it all together in our own bowls, and omgoodness! My foodie heart was doing cartwheels of happiness! We went back yesterday, and I got pho again - this time with beef and well-done brisket. The beef appeared nearly raw, but the hot broth cooked it quickly. Again, with all the amazing toppings. My husband, who got reheated leftovers for dinner, was also very happy. We are now pho-fans! And of course I have to mention the pumpkin curry, pineapple curry, pad thai, and pineapple fried rice. Oh ya!! Thanks folks for always providing consistently delicious food. Also, the meals come in great , sturdy containers - they are plastic, but very reusable time and time again. Pretty good pho for a place hundred of miles away from a prominent Asian community. The workers were really friendly when they came around to us, probably because we were one of the only vietnamese people to go to this store, but the food was very comparable to pho from San Jose and Orange County. First and foremost, I only come here for the pho so I can't speak to any of the other food. The broth is the backbone of it, and it's solid. There were adequate amounts of noodles and meat. That pretty much earns the place three stars. They're stingy with the garnish. I don't really care about bean sprouts, but there were just a couple of small sprigs of basil, a paltry two slivers of jalapeno, and one half of a single wedge of lime, which is like telling the customer "We have technically provided you with lime." Most recently I ordered pho with rare steak and well-done brisket. What I got was rare steak and fatty brisket. Not the worst mistake, but a mistake nonetheless. The staff are pretty casual. I didn't get any food thrown or tossed onto my table as others have mentioned, and I wasn't treated poorly. I did notice that the staff seemed to be frequently trading quips and comments with customers in a manner that could be easily overheard by everyone around, but I couldn't tell if it was just normal banter with regulars or something else. I'm not quite as put off about the brusqueness as some of the other reviewers because I don't really consider the venue to be a "fine dining" kind of place. That's not intended as a dig on the restaurant, I just think that judging by the reviews, people's expectations about the atmosphere (formal) are generally at odds with that of the staff (casual). Haven't seen the bathrooms. No issues noticed as far as the cleanliness of the dining area. My bottom line: The broth is the key to a good pho. This place used to be alot better, seems like they got popular and too comfortable, the coconut shrimp changed and did anyone else notice they dont put kaffir lime leaf in the curry anymore... Totally changed the flavor. Today I ordered pumpkin curry and in the past they have told me that they were out of pumpkin so i would order something else. Today they gave me pumpkin curry with no pumpkin and never mentioned it when I ordered... It was just bell peppers and pork.
