Being new to Lancaster and really craving pho I searched Yelp for a decent place. The pho broth here is very flavorful and really hit the spot. I came in on a Sunday, it was slow. I kinda had an impression that it was because of the noodles but that didn't deter me. The place seems hidden in the shopping center where it looks as if businesses are struggling to survive. But here, maybe a family owned pho restaurant is trying to give another example to the term, "Hole in the wall". A restaurant that's a hidden gem, like a treasure chest full of Vietnamese culinary riches just waiting to be discovered. Walking in, the place is clean, nice, and the staff is friendly. Maybe because I'm asian too, but I don't think that's the case. There's some variety for the menu items, but not too much that it overwhelms you like some places. I always go for meatball pho, or sometimes I'll get it with flank. As it came out, it looked great, broth was clean, steaming hot, noodles cooked just perfectly. A good base to start off from. If you've never had pho, you have to "Tune" you noodles, kinda like tuning a car. Different flavor preferences, you can have it normal, or sweet, spicy, sweet and spicy. By adding the Sriracha and the hoison sauce along with the fresh ingredients of lime, beansprouts, and basil. You're "Tuning" the noodles. The phrase "tuning" for pho is trademarked by myself by the way, you heard it here and from me first and it's what I always tell people when I take them out for their first Pho experience. When your bowl arrives here's what you want to look out for: Can you smell the aroma of the noodles before they arrive? Is the broth clean? A clean, clear broth is good Is it piping hot? It's like ordering chili and getting it lukewarm; who wants lukewarm chili? Can you drink the broth and feel that it tastes great without having to add anything to it? I'd say that Pho stop hit everything on the checklist perfectly except for the last one, I honestly felt that they can improve on the broth a bit by bringing out more flavor of the spices. Not too much of the cinnamon, but the star anise, onion and ginger. And maybe a little bit of the meat, but not too much. It's a good base broth, not the best that I've had but almost there. Pho stop, in a town where most people don't get past their usual burgers, meatloaf, mexican and italian food. You're doing a great thing by opening up in a place where culture is definitely needed. Where peoples tastebuds need to be introduced to another realm of asian flavors primarily of the south, and what a great place to start it off by with Vietnamese cuisine. Vietnamese cuisine is all about balance: soft and crispy, meat and veggies, salty/sweet/spicy, there's harmony in the flavors and ingredients. And Vietnamese is more of what the AV needs, so I hope that you continue to thrive on your path to success and I wish you all the luck in the world in becoming the best Pho stop in town. The first time I had Pho was in Vegas after a night of drinkin. Which by the way, Pho is an incredible hangover cure. I digress. Today I ordered a regular number 7 (since I can't pronounce anything correctly and don't want to disrespect). The people who work there immediately had a smile on their faces and showed us where we could sit. Because we were on lunch, I got it to go. They all were incredibly nice when I was ordering and paying. Didn't take long at all to get the food either. The Pho came with all the delicious goodies on the side. That's my favorite because you customize everything to how you want to eat it. You know, bean sprouts, lime, jaleps,onions, basil..Everything was so delicious. I loved every bite! The regular is plenty of food for me and if I don't eat it all, I plan to eat some later too. Now that I've had it without being hungover, it's even more delicious. I can't wait to go back. It's really good phô at a really good price. Phô is one of my favorite ethnic foods; I've had it in Saigon and just about any place I can find it in the US. Here at the Pho Stop, the phô has an authentic flavor and is very filling; the only thing I can fault them on is that they are a little bit skimpy with the herbs and other add-ins. So it's me first time trying this place, not sure if it's new or not but my mom was craving pho so i looked this place up and it looked pretty good. They do have a good amount of items on the menu but since they're known for pho they had many options for it too. I called in an order for pickup and it was ready in about 15-20 mins so not too bad. We ordered pho #6 & #7. The way they give it to you is the broth in a spectate container, then the meat and spices, then the noodles, and then an extra bag with sauces, basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños to add as much as you want to your pho. The #6 came with raw beef and I was a bit iffy about it but once I poured it into the hot broth it cooked itself which was pretty cool and tasty. Pho Stops Pho is authentic and very tasty. The condiments are fresh, the meat seasoned to perfection. The only thing they are lacking is fast service. For the soup being pre-made it takes longer than most Pho places. We ordered the dumplings as an appetizer and they served them to us cold. I didn't send them back or make a fuss since they were for my kids and they were hungry. Also, they seemed to have come from a bag pre-made not made in house. I ordered items that cost me $50.00. The broth was warm and not hot. Also ordered extra meat but didn't get that. I ordered 3 items combination plates with the rice and they literally spread out the meat a d gave me one of each vegetable. 1 Broccoli 1 carrot 2 pieces of small cabbage. We ordered pho dac biet as well as shrimp spring rolls and both were very good, the spring rolls tasted fresh and had a generous amount of shrimp, the broth was hot and flavorful - no need to add sriracha or hoisin sauce. This place is a small hole in the wall that is amazing! I gave it 4 stars because I didn't care for their spring rolls, which are my favorite, however, I did have the Pho with steak and tendon, the tendon are big thick pieces which are delicious! The egg rolls were so damn good! I brought them home and popped them in the toaster oven for my bf and he was even taken back on just how good they were. I also had the Thai ice tea and that was good. As far as the service I thought it was great because I'm the type of person who doesn't want a sever to come back after I have my food unless I call them back. So if you are opposite that may be an issue for you. I am constantly coming back every time I have a pho craving, which is about 1-3 times a week. Terrible place. Took my wife to this place . Wife proceeds to try and order there pork dish. The waitress says they are out. Wife try's to order another dish and they are out. She finally orders something shes willing to eat because shes hungry and they get to me. No problem they get my order. The waitress then brings out my wifes order about 10 after she ordered the food. I wait for mine for about half an hour to receive mine. Its the wrong size so she says ill bring out the right size and charge you for the smaller only. So now my wife is waiting for me to finish my food. I finish eating and ask for the bill. She charges me for the big size even though she said she wouldn't. I never got a refill and my bill was more than she said. She refused to fix it when we asked. In the end they are always out of something and never try to accommodate.. i will never go here again read more

The food is great, the Shrimp Spring Rolls are hands down 5 freaking stars! The service is completely terrible. I stopped going here about a year ago because of the poor service and then came back. Actually quite good and I'm no Pho judge. This is probably the only Pho restaurant in Lancaster so the wife and I decided to give it a try. We started with Vietnamese Egg Rolls and they were quite tasty. My wife had Pho with well done beef and meatballs. The broth is wonderful and you personalize how hot you want it...nice idea. The meatballs, though, reminded me of bologna in taste and consistency. Overall, it was really good. I ordered Shrimp Pho. Interesting angle was it came in (what appeared to me) beef broth but that wasn't a problem as the flavors work well together. Again, I spiced it up nicely, added some fresh basil leaves and a couple slices of jalapeño although most peppers take a while to open up and surrender their flavor. That was the case here... to me the jalapeños were just a garnish until I bit into one. Again, overall this was a really good lunch and a pleasant first experience with Pho. Not bad, not great - just perfectly mediocre. The moment you walk in, you are slammed in the face with the stench of mold. Korean mold, to be exact. No air conditioning so the air is somewhat balmy inside. The bathroom smells more strongly of mold and wet rags. The owner is Chinese, not Vietnamese. Not sure if the chefs in the back are Vietnamese because I never saw them nor heard them, but for those of us who care about these things (and no, it's not racism, so be quiet), there you go. Pho was... not bad. It was lacking some kind of spice in the broth, although I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was perfectly edible and good enough. The vermicelli bowl was really boring and lackluster. No bright orange pickled radishes or fresh cucumber slices to be seen. Just chopped lettuce, fried spring rolls (those were delicious, by the way), and noodles. Not sure if I'll be visiting again.
