I ordered the drunken noodles for delivery, I could tell it was fresh and tasty. I wish there was more sauce but may have soaked in during the delivery

Beef Pad Thai and Rice
Willy T.

This restaurant was basically empty on Tuesday at 6PM. I went with my family and we had seafood soup, papaya salad, beef larb, beef panang curry, steamed rice, and pad thai. The larb had good flavor, the cabbage was especially nice. It has some cilantro and some mint. The pad thai tasted good and so did the curry. The presence of coconut milk can be detected in the curry. The pad thai could use a bit more egg. The seafood soup had mussels, imitation crab, and squid. The beef did feel a bit shriveled and tough/chewy in all of the dishes. Overall the flavor is there and everything is edible, but nothing was spicy despite the name of the restaurant. This restaurant pales in comparison to other Thai restaurants that I've been to but it's still serviceable and offers a good meal.

Large portion of plain chow mein. My kid loved it

I lived in Thailand & dined around the world and the flavors here are very good. The veggies are cooked al dente which retains more nutrients & I appreciate. They accommodated dishes for my child, table & utensils were clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this hole in the wall hidden gem in Lancaster!

You can't see the flame, but it was there. Tom Kha with pork. Really tasty.

Really good and fresh Thai food. They have a nice, complete menu offering all the favorites. I had the Tom Kha with pork (my go-to) and the flavors are on-point. So complex. My husband had the Ka-Pow with shrimp and he really enjoyed it (he is a shrimp snob). Don't let the "spicy" fool you - if you really like spicy order the level 4 or 5, 5 if you're brave. The service is pleasant and attentive. It's a strip-mall place, but that's the best environment for this food. My only complaint is it was a bit warm inside, but I was eating soup in August. Highly recommend.

Green curry with rice

Food was not good Green curry was more bamboo shoot than anything and had a very watered down taste. The Thai chilis in fish sauce was rancid and the spoon they had to serve it was rusting. I wanted to give a good rating for this place but I will not be going back. Service was fine, no complaints

Baby corn and mushroom with tofu dinner. Vegetable soup with tofu. Thai iced tea with coconut milk and boba!

This use to be a good place to eat, now no one ever answers the phone for take-out, and the website to order food isn't good.

The food is really good here, but today there is a lady serving with a very serious attitude, almost rude.

Danny and Michelle were super attentive and the service was really fast without feeling rushed. They were both really kind, and on top of everything, which made the whole experience even better. The vibe inside is also really nice and ambient, it's such a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your food. Definitely coming back!

It honestly pains me to write this because this has been our go-to Thai restaurant in the area…read moresince 2024. We've always loved coming here, especially because the servers and the entire staff are consistently so kind and nice to us every time we walk through the door. Unfortunately, over the last few months, we've noticed a dip in quality and service that's getting harder to ignore. Lately, every time we've ordered for pickup, the wait times have been incredibly long--usually stretching close to an hour. For our most recent order, I was told it would be 30 minutes because they only had one cook on staff. We're very understanding, and we actually noticed they only had one cook months ago, too, so it seems like a persistent staffing struggle. However, after calling back to check in, the total wait ended up being nearly 50 minutes. The real disappointment, though, was the food itself. The Pad Thai looked completely unappetizing this time; it had no color, was very dry, and tasted almost bland. It's a far cry from the vibrant, flavorful dishes we fell in love with when we first started coming here. We really want to see this place thrive again. We truly appreciate the lovely staff but we're becoming more hesitant to order. I hope the owners see this and can make some adjustments to the kitchen consistency and staffing, because we'd love to have a reason to come back.

My husband got the bbq pork noodle soup and I got my pad ew iew. The meat in the pad see iew was very tender and flavorful and not overly sweet. Service was great, they consistently checked our table and refilled my husband's soda. Glad we have this Thai place around the corner from our home! Definitely will try the pad Thai next along with the pineapple fried rice

First, I want to point out that I'm very familiar with Thai food--I've eaten at over 100 Thai…read morerestaurants across the United States, so I feel like I have a pretty solid baseline when it comes to flavor and quality. With that said, I was sadly disappointed with Shandra Thai. Starting with the Thai iced tea: it wasn't the worst I've had, but definitely not the best. It tasted like it was brewed from tea (which is a plus), but it had way too much milk added, which diluted the flavor. It was also overly sweet. On the bright side, the portion is huge for $8, so it's definitely shareable. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp pad thai, which is a pretty standard dish. It was decent and came with a good amount of shrimp, but the flavor leaned way too sweet for my liking. I ordered the wor wonton soup, and this is where things really went downhill. The broth honestly reminded me of those seasoning packets that come with instant ramen--very salty and lacking depth. It was so salty that I could only manage a couple of spoonfuls before I started to feel sick. I'm also fairly certain the shrimp in the soup was frozen (see photo). It's disappointing to pay $18 for a dish that ends up going to waste. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be coming back.
