Today had a hunkering for some good Thai food tonight and wanted something with beef so I picked a Thai salad I saw Gordon Rams make one and was like I'll order that also got the Drunken noodles with beef some curry eggrolls and spring rolls yea not done yet some satay chicken know I'm done. The salad was not as good as thought Gordon's looked a lil better. Now the Drunken noodles were terrific the best I've ever had I wish I ordered that not so hot thou my daughter likes it spicy I'm cool at 1. The curry was good but spicy the rest was excellent I will be coming back. They are always nice and cordial. The restaurant inside isn't to spectacular just tables a tv that is it. read more

This restaurant was basically empty on Tuesday at 6PM. I went with my family and we had seafood soup, papaya salad, beef larb, beef panang curry, steamed rice, and pad thai. The larb had good flavor, the cabbage was especially nice. It has some cilantro and some mint. The pad thai tasted good and so did the curry. The presence of coconut milk can be detected in the curry. The pad thai could use a bit more egg. The seafood soup had mussels, imitation crab, and squid. The beef did feel a bit shriveled and tough/chewy in all of the dishes. Overall the flavor is there and everything is edible, but nothing was spicy despite the name of the restaurant. This restaurant pales in comparison to other Thai restaurants that I've been to but it's still serviceable and offers a good meal. read more

We gave this place another try. There are different people cooking the food from before. Crab noodle and sea food fried rice are bland, they burn the crab and egg in the crab noodle, and took out half the seafood from the fried rice. It used to be the best Thai restaurant in the AV, now it is just average.. Very disappointing considering the noticable price increase. Spicy Thai was recommended to me by my nail girl. I decided to get it a try and glad I did. It's a small place but obviously very popular. Employee very friendly and food was great. Really good and fresh Thai food. They have a nice, complete menu offering all the favorites. I had the Tom Kha with pork (my go-to) and the flavors are on-point. So complex. My husband had the Ka-Pow with shrimp and he really enjoyed it (he is a shrimp snob). Don't let the "spicy" fool you - if you really like spicy order the level 4 or 5, 5 if you're brave. The service is pleasant and attentive. It's a strip-mall place, but that's the best environment for this food. My only complaint is it was a bit warm inside, but I was eating soup in August. Food was not good Green curry was more bamboo shoot than anything and had a very watered down taste. The Thai chilis in fish sauce was rancid and the spoon they had to serve it was rusting. This was my time here and it did not disappoint. I ordered various dishes and all of them had very good flavors. I've never had Thai desserts before, so I ordered the Sticky Sweet Mango and Coconut Ice Cream- both of them were very good. The Thai Iced Tea was great, too. My only complaint was the guy who took my order over the phone. Bless his heart, he was sweet, but not helpful at all when recommending different items on the menu. He couldn't even give me clear directions to the restaurant and told me himself that he was not an enthusiastic worker. Shame. read more

Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing but i have never had pad Thai made that way before. I'm not sure if I was misunderstood or I had no clue what I was ordering lol. The Establishment is quaint and in a rundown plaza that' appears to do experimental studies on people. The waitress was nice and pleasant. I overheard three patrons praise the food, as they were getting in their car. Again maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but luckily the food didn't go to waste. I was able to provide it to a homeless couple sitting outside the gas station. Hopefully they enjoyed it. read more
