Stopped by on a rainy day around 4:30pm and found Pho Stop to be packed! Almost every table was full, plus a line for take out. The phone was also ringing off the hook. They were short staffed with only one cook and one waitress... the waitress handled it like a champ. Wait times were a bit longer but that's what you can expect if you want fresh food. Vibe: They had oldies playing so it was a good mood booster. I got the #3 regular + veggies and it hit the spot. I will definitely be back. Rating: I understand we all have busy schedules but I had to take a star off because I watched the boss (I'm assuming the owner) leave the waitress by herself to hustle during peak traffic. I'm pretty much addicted to the shrimp spring rolls. But everything else is pretty good as well.

The pho here is good! Not a lot of choices in the westside of Lancaster but this place will satisfy any pho cravings for sure. I also usually get the salted pepper shrimp and it never disappoints. People claiming that the broth is "oily" probably do not have much experience eating pho. The broth is flavorful and clean. Service is pretty good and food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. This isn't Panda Express, the food is made to order. They could do a bit of decorating but I don't go to this restaurant for Mr. Chow vibes (which is overrated if you ask me). Worst bowl of pho i've probably ever had. Broth was very murky, felt like sipping lightly salted meat water. The cuts of flank were very strange to say the least and had lots of cartilage attached. Noodles also had a doughy aftertaste. I know I may be spoiled by my times exploring Garden Grove and Little Saigon. Some of the best pho in Lancaster.maybe the only pho in Lancaster. I try to eat there, once a week. It's always good, always consistent, always satisfying. And good service. But what moved me to write this is how kind they are. While I was there an unfortunate young man came in and asked if they had any leftovers. Instead of shewing him away like most people would do, she asked him to wait outside. Caveat: PHO is my FAVORITE dish and I've probably been to about 50 pho restaurants in my life around the nation. I have high standards. Food keeps getting worse and worse, slow customer service as well. They give you two napkins and since service is slow, it's hard to get more. Food: noodles are consistently mushy. Didn't used to be this way when I came years ago. Past 2-3 years I've noticed a downward trend. Also, soup is flavorless. When I make homemade pho with a pho bouillon cube, it tastes better. Selection of meat is okay. Glad they still give you lime instead of lemon (cheaper substitute). Not generous with the sprouts and basil offering, but will give you free lime if you ask for more. Basically, I live in the AV and I would NOT come here if I weee craving pho. I would just leave upset (like the last time I tried to give them a chance again). Sadly had a debilitating experience because of them. I should've known it was in the evening and anything fried would've been using old oil with plenty of animal fat. Great food but it's annoying they're never open on time. I've waited til 11:30 once and no one ever came to open. Sucks.

The service was great the young woman was cheerful and polite and had a great smile. The location isn't the best as you have to park in a shared parking lot, the interior isn't very clean the walls windows were dirty but the tables are clean. The food I ordered take out. When I got home I had to put the meal together which was different but I liked it. All the ingredients were fresh and the soup base was good it didn't have tons of salt and complimented the other ingredients to make a nice over than average bowl of pho. SO GREEDY! I spend so much money every time I come in and I wanna get what I'm paying for. The Asian lady always gives me trouble about having extra hot sauce. If I dine in, I'll have endless hot sauce but because I take out, it's 25cents per container? (Tiny ass containers btw) Today she said "it's because people ask for extra but don't use them." LADY! I ordered their #1 Pho to go and asked for extra veggies (mint/basil leaf and bean sprouts). They charged me an extra $3.95 for the extra veggies which was fine with me. When I get home, there were no bean sprouts, jalapeño, or mint leaf that usually comes with the Pho. Instead, they give me broccoli, carrots, and cabbage that looked like it was steamed or microwaved (see photo). Tip for the staff: Please let your customers know if you're out of bean sprouts, basil leaves, jalapeños/chili. Authentic Vietnamese pho always has this. It's not the same. I was recommended to order the Pho Ga! I ordered a Pho Ga and. Chicken Dumpling and vegetable soup to go. I have no pictures of the Pho and Soup but I can say that I loved the way it was packaged. The broth, rice noodles, chicken and veggies were all packaged separately. That was well thought out, because when I was able to assemble my pho at home, the veggies were crisp and the noodles were not expanded and soggy. The sizes were pretty large.
