Beware of overcharged items. I knew someone was not adding up in our bill and asked for a breakdown and went in depth with the items charged and the menu. Food is good. But they charge their own tip in as a physical entry and tax you on it. My husband was leaving a cash tip when I had to ask her what was all these $6 and $7 charges and $15.48 charge at the end. She said it was the drinks and tip. We didn't want to argue about it since we were not trying to mess up our Sunday vibe. While the food here was mostly excellent, the overall experience was let down by the service. We waited politely to be seated for about 5-10 minutes, but another family walked in and went straight to a table, and the staff helped them first. A younger waitress was very rude and dismissive, though she was not the one who took our order. Our food came out with a timing issue--the egg rolls we ordered as a starter arrived after our main courses. The one truly bad dish was the Tom Yum soup. It was clear they rushed to prepare it, with large, overcooked chunks of chicken and improperly prepared lemongrass that was just thrown in. In regards to the decore of the resturant it was okay. I would say it was slightly to dark for my preference. The dark wood tones added to this problem. read more

Mango sticky rice is what called my attention, it was good, coconut syrup was a bit too sweet 4/5. The chow mein is either rice noodles or cup noodles, I paid an extra $2 to add 5 small shrimps, 2/5. The chicken fried rice is ok 2.5/5. Orange chicken was a small portion for the cost, very vinegary 3/5. The Thai tea was a bit too sweet but flavor was good 4/5. I ordered takeout. read more

Place has really gone down from where it was years ago. It was once my favorite Thai spot in the AV. Service was good but on my last visit, food was horrible. First thing I noticed they raised their prices next was the portions were very small compared to what you paid the two soups wonton was ok but there was nothing to it just had wonton and bok choy the other was a coconut mushroom soup with lemon grass and cilantro it was very citrus forward and the milk broke you could not eat it the lemon grass was very hard I almost choked then a Thai basil chicken dish nothing but chicken and sauce and two pieces of basil we also got chow main it was made with top ramen everything was salty everything we asked if they could redo the basil plate they took it brought it right back looked to have a bit more sauce on it but they did not redo it our bill with tea was 112.06 I gave them a 15% tip on top this is definitely a restaurant you do not want to go too ever read more

been getting take out here for my family for years, on maps it says they close at 10 on Fridays so i sent my sister for our order at 9. once my sisters arrived the lady at the register was just rude yelling at my sisters and telling them that she had been calling my number back to back because they were about to close the store. First of all it's weird that she would even spam call a customer and on top of that i didn't have a single missed phone call. I understand why she was upset but i don't believe it's my fault that their store hours are messed up on maps and just because you're upset it does not mean you have to be rude. Place used to be great, now its food quality has gone down and so has their customer service. Portions got smaller and smaller every time we ordered, and i'm very sorry to say that the orange chicken is probably the worst in the AV. Don't let the Karens in the reviews persuade you, this place is one of the best Thai places you're gonna get in the AV! Their Pad Thai and Paht See-Iw Noodles are sooooo good, very flavorful, not overly greasy like other places and has a good amount of veggies and meat. I've also tried the crispy garlic shrimp and that was super yummy! I thought it was battered but it was sautéed with crispy fried garlic and came with this vinegar-y sauce that was delish, only thing I'd say is that it is a bit overpriced for the amount of shrimp you get. The lady here is also always so nice and attentive. This place is such a nice hidden gem with great food and I definitely would recommend giving it a try. read more

My husband and I came here for lunch several days ago and we found it by accident. It's in a shopping plaza and you wouldn't even know it's there as I've driven by it many times. It's definitely a hole in the wall type of place. The service was friendly and they were quite busy for lunch in the middle of the day at 3 o'clock. They do have a lunch special, so I'm assuming that's why a bunch of people were coming in. The food didn't have the nicest presentation, but my goodness, the flavor was there! I ordered 3 dishes, all vegetarian, all with tofu only. TWO of those THREE dishes had big chunks of beef in them. As a vegetarian, I am disgusted, and that is a huge food safety issue. People have restrictions for a reason. This restaurant was a favorite for Thai food, key word: WAS! The prices have increased, food is no longer fresh, they dilute their chili with vinegar, and they charge 15% gratuity for parties of four (4) or more. What?! I have never been to a restaurant that charges gratuity for parties that small. I understand that the pandemic caused many disruptions in food supply and service workers, and some of that will be passed to customers, but this is ridiculous. You charge me more for frozen green beans that were cold and had zero flavor? DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! We drove to this place 40 mins to pick up food as we had ordered by accident. We were trying to order from another place that had similar name. I tried to see if I could cancel but was told it was already made so we made the effort to drive there, hoping the food was atleast good. When we got home, the soup had a long black and gray hair in it and it was so disgusting that we really lost our appetite after seeing it. I called the place only to be told that how was she to know that the food was going to have hair. No apologies of some sort, instead the lady was very rude and hung up on me instead. I will never go back to this place again just because of the Asian short haired ladies rudeness. The food also didn't taste good compared to other Thai places. We ordered Thai jerky and the beef wasn't cut thin, like it's supposed to and wasn't marinated right. The chicken the chicken fried rice had a funny taste. I visited the one on teth street. I walked in I saw alot of empty tables with plates staked up every where. They I saw more dirty plates by the very small stalkroom. Piled up on a cart with food and Trash it looked like they have not taken out the trash nor washed the plates. A couple came in. They waited for 10 minutes asking for a table. The pretty small petite Asian lady told them , no table only, to go! She was too lazy to pick up 2 dirty plates to accommodate this nice couple. This evening we decided to order the Fried Rice with Pork. We ordered two orders. The description states that egg is included in the meal. Well first off we ordered through Post Mates and the Driver Eric was terrific, he got here sooner then expected. Sadly this was for not, as the discovery that both our orders were missing the egg , and the Pork was actually tough to chew along with the rice tasting kind of dry. The real topper is that this ran us over $45.00 and most assuredly not worth it. This was the first time ordering from this restaurant, and most definitely the last. We have been coming here for years. Their service, politeness & food quality are still the same Fresh & tasty. This is one of the few places in Atelope Valley that serve the Real Authentic Thai Food. I have been to Thailand before & I knew how Thai food should take like. They opened throughout the pandemic & they were one of the main food sources for us. Prices went up a bit after the pandemic but not so much & its understandable Their hours are bit erratic but acceptable. The owner & the wairess are still the same. They are polite & friendly.
