I get food from them through GrubHub and everything has always been delicious! Today I tried the chicken satay and it was great!

I had the lunch special here today. The first brought a small side salad, with delicious dressing. The main dish I had was the mint leaves lunch with fried rice (vegetarian). It was very good. I'll definitely be back

Service is good. The waitress did her job. I ordered the Trip To Thailand. Little bit of pad Thai, bbq chicken, and curry with a side of white rice. All cooked well. The pad Thai was of perfect texture and was light. The flavor of the curry is what kept me eating. There are small slices of chicken in the curry as well. Over all a good Thai place to eat. I will be coming back

After a game of softball, we swung by Thai Cafe for dinner to celebrate our victory. I've been to this spot a handful of times, and they normally don't disappoint. This time, I had the Trip to Thailand, which comes with pad Thai noodles, Thai chicken BBQ, chicken red curry, and a side of white rice--delicious! The service was great, and the ambiance is usually quite calm, not noisy, which I appreciate. However, they charge $6 to swap the white rice for fried rice, which I think is a little high. Instead, I ordered a separate side of fried rice for $12 and got a larger portion. Unfortunately, the fried rice lacked flavor and missed the mark for me. On the bright side, they offered us tapioca pudding at the end of the meal, and it was the perfect treat for my sweet tooth. Overall, a solid experience.

We've always loved coming here, especially because the servers and the entire staff are consistently so kind and nice to us every time we walk through the door. Unfortunately, over the last few months, we've noticed a dip in quality and service that's getting harder to ignore. Lately, every time we've ordered for pickup, the wait times have been incredibly long--usually stretching close to an hour. For our most recent order, I was told it would be 30 minutes because they only had one cook on staff. We're very understanding, and we actually noticed they only had one cook months ago, too, so it seems like a persistent staffing struggle. However, after calling back to check in, the total wait ended up being nearly 50 minutes. The real disappointment, though, was the food itself. The Pad Thai looked completely unappetizing this time; it had no color, was very dry, and tasted almost bland. It's a far cry from the vibrant, flavorful dishes we fell in love with when we first started coming here. We really want to see this place thrive again. We truly appreciate the lovely staff but we're becoming more hesitant to order. I hope the owners see this and can make some adjustments to the kitchen consistency and staffing, because we'd love to have a reason to come back.

My husband got the bbq pork noodle soup and I got my pad ew iew. The meat in the pad see iew was very tender and flavorful and not overly sweet. Service was great, they consistently checked our table and refilled my husband's soda. Glad we have this Thai place around the corner from our home! Definitely will try the pad Thai next along with the pineapple fried rice

First, I want to point out that I'm very familiar with Thai food--I've eaten at over 100 Thai…read morerestaurants across the United States, so I feel like I have a pretty solid baseline when it comes to flavor and quality. With that said, I was sadly disappointed with Shandra Thai. Starting with the Thai iced tea: it wasn't the worst I've had, but definitely not the best. It tasted like it was brewed from tea (which is a plus), but it had way too much milk added, which diluted the flavor. It was also overly sweet. On the bright side, the portion is huge for $8, so it's definitely shareable. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp pad thai, which is a pretty standard dish. It was decent and came with a good amount of shrimp, but the flavor leaned way too sweet for my liking. I ordered the wor wonton soup, and this is where things really went downhill. The broth honestly reminded me of those seasoning packets that come with instant ramen--very salty and lacking depth. It was so salty that I could only manage a couple of spoonfuls before I started to feel sick. I'm also fairly certain the shrimp in the soup was frozen (see photo). It's disappointing to pay $18 for a dish that ends up going to waste. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be coming back.
