Hi , I just went here with my family and we really enjoyed ourselves as it was my first time . We were quickly greeted by all the servers. The place was mediocre busy . I love the ambiance of the place as it's very welcoming and warming . My boyfriend says it was "me love you long time". The servers also gave us extra rice . As we ran out . After reading a lot of the reviews of this restaurant that we have never tried before, we decided to try some for dinner this evening. We ordered the Cashew Chicken and the Chow Mein. What surprised me was that some reviewers stated that this is authentic thai style cooking and that the chef's were trained in Thailand. Well, if this is true, what a dissapointment indeed. The vegetables in both dishes were very hard , the Chicken in the Cashew Chicken was also hard and cut thin strips, tasteless, no noodles or rice included The noodles in the Chow Mein was about as good as cheap store bought noodles and dry at best. So I called the restaurant and a female answered whom I asked to speak to the Manager and with some hesitation asked if she could help, I again asked to speak to the Manager to which she replied that she was the owner and could she help. I stated to her the problem with this terrible food, and even told her that I had read many of the reviews on here (Yelp) and would be writing a review myself. In the final words for this review, I can say that eiher this place has a lot of friends and or family that may have buttered up the review section, because I would be embarrassed to call this food as original from my home country. I did advise the Owner that these dishes were terrible and would not be buying from here again. What a waste of money because I paid over $50.00 total with tip from food delivery service and for something like this is a shame! read more

I would like to start off my reviews with, I'm a Thai gal and it's hard to find Thai Street Food around these parts. However, I still need my Thai food fix! My girls and I decided to try a new Thai restaurant other than our regular go to. It's a small cafe-like sized restaurant. Causal dining. The menu was limited and had your basic Thai dishes (but not many) and then not so Thai- chow mein, orange chicken, and beef broccoli. We ordered Spicy Sole Filet, Pad Kee Mow Chicken, Chicken Chili Garlic, veggie egg rolls, and Cashew Tofu (for our vegetarian girl). The item I didn't like much was the sole filet, it was too breaded for me and couldn't taste the fish-almost like frozen breaded fish filets. The curry that came with it and lacked a little flavor- a bit watery for me. The other stir-fry dishes hit with Thai spicy flavors and were deelish. Service was excellent! The prices were average costs around here. I would likely come back and try the Pad Thai. I also decided to take pics of the updated menu since there are old ones on here from long time ago. I ordered the spicy seafood soup at spicy level of 5. I can't comment on the service or ambiance as I ordered through DoorDash. The soup was excellent and perfect for a gloom day. The owner of this restaurant are cheating you first time we go there they gave us huge dishes with a lot of food second time we went and the food was too small only good for one person and the quality was not good. They charged me $100 dollars for shrimp dish with only 5 shrimp and few mushrooms it worth only $8 to $ 10 dollars in other Thai restaurants but they charged me $24 . Very disappointing. First time was cheaper and a lot of food. Second time was small dish no quality and very expensive. The woman who had Eye Lens blue was very rude and she is unprofessional. The food was great! Nothing against it, but the portion for the price was not it. Paid $80 for three meals. One being an appetizer with 8 wings which was not what I ordered. The hospitality was poor. I simply asked what the best thing in the menu was and she didn't bother in engaging in a conversation. *Maybe that's why they messed up my appetizer order.* Let's not forget about the rude Comment I got from the hostess at the end (which is why I'm leaving a 1 star). I don't tip based off price. I tip based off my experience there and the hospitality they provide. All because it was terrible, I left them $2 (they making good money with those menu prices). Our new favorite AV restaurant... Thai Palms Restaurant in Palmdale. Let me tell you I've been disappointed quite a few times since we moved here, but this is my new favorite Thai restaurant!! We tried to eat here at Thai Palms over a year and a half ago but the restaurant was closed that day. I've been saying we should go back and finally I talked to a Thai family at the grocery store the other day and they said that's their favorite place in the AV. The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh!! They do add gratuity to your bill which I was fine with because the service was outstanding! They answered all my questions! Thai Palms has quickly become my favorite place in the AV to order Thai food. Their food is authentically delicious and flavorful. Each time I've gone, I have not been disappointed. I've done both dine in and takeout and both times, the food came out to be excellent quality. I recently ordered the beef pad see ew for a potluck and my family couldn't stop asking me where I got the order from. From my 8years living in OC, even I couldn't find a good thai restaurant like this over there. Their restaurant has a few tables for dine in but the staff is kind and gets the food out efficiently. I didn't wait to long for my food to come out and when I ordered take out, it only took about 15 minutes for them to prepare. Best Thai food for miles! The soups are authentic and deliciously prepared . I've not had a dish I didn't like here. The pad see wee & padthai are excellent . The noodles dishes are tasty and authentic. Green curry, red curry and yellow curries are all delicious. The restaurant is not assuming but the food and service are great. I raised a large family here in Palmdale and every time I go in, I am asked about my kids even though they haven't gone in with me for at least a few years!
