Solid place to get pho in Stanton. Stop by here waiting for my windshield to be replaced. Prices were good and the restaurant was very clean. Service was prompts and the pho came out hot. Finally got to try this place, I really only used to have time at night to go, and the plaza was a bit too dark for me but I braved the darkness and was not disappointed. Upon entering I felt like I was entering one of those karaoke bars since they had a little drum set set up in the corner and a huge speaker. I ordered the special pho in a large and it came with TONS of meat. I usually love brisket (gau) and they have one of the softest briskets I've had in So Cal! Top 3. I absolutely love the brisket at pho 101 and this is like a dead ringer for the softness and butteriness. Yes, I still have braces and am picky about my meats! The soup was very good, I came towards the end of the night and so I got at the best of the soup, it was so satisfying. Nice light, perfect saltiness and wonderful layers of flavors. Was kind of weary ordering from a Vietnamese restaurant on the outskirts of Little Saigon. Reading previous reviews I assumed they catered to non Asians primarily. To my surprise the food was decent! Portions are large and everything is very freshly prepared. The chicken wings take 15 minutes to prepare so expect a little bit of wait time. Wow! What a hidden gem. I decided to try this location based on the reviews and not only did they live up to the reviews, they exceeded them. We ordered takeout and the lady who helped me was extremely friendly and patient. Once we arrived, the restaurant was extremely clean and welcoming. The food was perfectly packaged, along with all of the utensils and sides. We ordered 2 bowls of pho (1 steak, 1 chicken) and egg rolls. The pho had plenty of meat and the broth was very tasty. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy and paired well with the peanut dipping sauce. We asked for extra sides and without hesitation, they were provided. I've been to other pho places where they were less than generous with the sides.
