I ordered chicken with fried rice to pick up. The order was ready on time but that's the only good thing I can say about this restaurant. The fried rice tasted of old grease. I was so hungry, that I had to eat some of it, so I drowned it in soy sauce to try and cover the grease. Food is great! I had #36 with egg noodles, dry and it was very tasty! It's basically wonton noodles soup with bbq pork but the soup is on the side. I like it this way so the noodles don't get soggy. They have the best avocado shake with boba! So refreshing and not too sweet! Service was great. Very friendly server and answered every question I had in the menu. Definitely not authentic Vietnamese food. The pho was on the sweeter side. The bowl was big however the noodles and meat were very little. They came with a complimentary drink of Thai or jasmine milk tea. The drinks were so bland and way too sweet. We also order the combination pork chop rice plate and the shredded skin was stale. Ordered the wonton soup and banh mi. The wontons were terrible and very fishy. The banh mi barely had pork on and was not good. We dropped by here on our way to Tahoe for some pho. Parking was plentiful and this was one of the only places that opens before 11AM. Tons of seating available inside as well. All of us had pho, regular size except for my friend who tried a large (huge bowl!). I was hungry and thought the regular was the perfect size to fill me up. Customer service was friendly, we were greeted right when we walked in and he served us. I had the regular pho with beef ball and rare steak and my husband had the pho dac biet (comes with everything). The foods came out super fast, within minutes. We also had two orders of the Vietnamese coffee (asked for it not too sweet) and it was the right amount of sweetness. The pho broth tasted good upon first sip but it started to lose flavor as we kept eating. Think the noodles were packaged and it gave the broth a sour/weird taste. Overall not bad given the portions were hearty, but wished the broth had more flavor and wanted them to use fresh rice noodles instead. We didn't try anything else beside the pho and coffee, so many the other items would be much tastier. Nonetheless we got our pho craving fixed and enjoyed our meal. read more

Omggg..they outdid themselves again. First time ordering the saigon special. It was a meal for two for $28.95 or so. It was so filling. I ordered the grilled pork which tasted like heaven lol. Favorite part was the crispy eggroll wrappers. It cane with a peanut sauce and nuoc cham. I couldn't tell which i liked better. Everything about this meal was amazing. We ordered three bowls of pho to eat in, along with Pad See Ew, and one additional pho to go. Shortly after placing the order, we tried to cancel the to-go pho but were told it couldn't be done because it had already been prepared. While I could have refused to pay for it since it wasn't yet in my possession, and was early on dining in, I chose not to make a fuss. Unfortunately, the Pad See Ew was a major disappointment--it looked and tasted nothing like the dish I expected. As for the pho, two of our soups had the raw meat on the side(requested) but the slices were incredibly thin, small, and fewer in number than what we're used to from other places. I understand that prices are rising, and I'm willing to pay more, but when that happens, the quality and quantity should not diminish. My family eats pho regularly and even makes it at home--we're an Asian family, and we know good pho. Sadly, we won't be returning to this restaurant. The indoor seating was also comfortable and spacious, which made for a pleasant dining atmosphere. The broth had a nice flavor, but the quantity of noodles and meat was less than I expected. Overall, I would say that my experience was average.
