Food is so delicious. Service was fast for me and ambiance was peaceful even with the restaurant being half full. Very delicious!

40. Rice Vermicelli W/ Grilled Lemongrass Pork & Eggrolls

Service was slow. We sat at our table a good 20 minutes before they took our order. They took orders at tables that arrived after us. We had to flag a waiter down to say we were ready. Good size restaurant with plenty of seating. There was no line, but it still took them a while to seat us. Food was standard, nothing screamed over the top for me. I ordered the Vermicelli will grilled pork and eggroll, and I also ordered Shrimp spring rolls. Grilled pork was a little dry.

Needs a quick delicious pho restaurant for lunch. This place fulfills the requirements. The broth is clean and delicious. The service is quick if not a little gruff. But you can tell they try their best. The restaurant is clean and simple which is always reassuring. I'll definitely be back as the weather gets cooler

35. Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup

Never really liked this place but we go here sometimes after the movies or Arden mall shopping. I always thought the food was okay but expensive. Today, it was confirmed. I ordered bun bo hue and it was just beef pho with round noodles and a little chilli oil. No lemongrass sate, hammock or pork of any kind. Even the vege toppings were just bean sprouts. It was $16 for large but more like med. Wife got grilled chicken vermicelli. That was okay but just mediocre. I'll give it 2 stars though because the service was okay. The young kid was friendly and brought refilled water and extra napkins. Not sure what happened this place.

11. Salt & Pepper Calamari

We came to grab lunch on Saturday afternoon and the place was busy but the service was quick. Our orders were taken right away and food came out in less than 10 minutes. I do wish they would've brought appetizers out first but funny enough, our entrees arrived before the apps. Their menu is so big and have everything your basic Vietnamese restaurant offers. We shared the salt and pepper calamari and it was yummy! I ordered the shrimp chow fun and the portion was huge. It was practically family style. lol the noodles were a little too sweet for my liking. I think the oyster sauce was a bit overpowering. My husband had the pork and egg roll vermicelli and this portion was also large. He really enjoyed the flavor on the pork. It's a little more expensive here. Entrees are from $16-$20+ dollars. My shrimp chow fun was $18. . .the most I've ever paid for pan friend noodles. I'm assuming the high prices are due to the location.

Thats the xxlarge number 12.

Food is always good. The portion of noodles is bigger compared to the broth. The reason why I gave 2 stars is because the last couple times I have come the service is terrible. The older employees maybe they are owners give attitude and walk away in the middle of you speaking. I asked for extra napkins and he walked off saying you have napkin. He was correct I had one piece of napkin. It was not enough. My previous visit I ordered the xxlarge pho and the lady didn't want to let me order it. It was frustrating because I will just take my left overs why do you care what I order? I am paying for it. As good as the food is, I will take my business elsewhere where they don't give attitude. I don't like leaving negative reviews but today really bothered me.

Lemongrass pork

We got lemon grass pork and the pho saigon special pho. No complaints on pho, it was very flavorful and tasty. The lemongrass pork however, was cold. The lettuce did not add much to the dish. The sauce was okay. But overall felt underwhelming

Number 14. Shrimp spring rolls.

I originally came in fully committed to ordering the Bún Bò Huế (P4), but the moment I heard about the $3.50 giant rib add-on, all bets were off. I switched to the P1 Combo Pho just so I could have that massive, fall-off-the-bone rib soaking in that rich, aromatic broth and it was absolutely worth it. The broth was deeply savory and comforting, layered with flavor without being overly salty, and that rib took things to another level. Tender, meaty, and perfectly braised, it made each bite feel extra indulgent. My boyfriend went with the bánh mì pork sandwich, and we added fried egg rolls for the table. The bánh mì had that perfect balance of crispy baguette, juicy pork, and fresh pickled veggies, while the egg rolls came out hot, crunchy, and packed with flavor. We also got the chance to meet the owner/chef and had such a great conversation, which made the whole experience feel even more personal. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the night. Safe to say, this spot continues to deliver -we'll definitely be back for more.

Everyone appeared to have to flag her down to order drinks, to order food, to get sides, and to get their check.

We felt transported back to Vietnam when we sipped the sugarcane and calamansi juice. If they have it (listed seasonal on the menu), try it! We also got nem cuon (not pictured) and the portion was generous and warm. I love their dipping sauce too. The broken rice plates also remind me of the places my mom took me to in Westminster and Garden Grove growing up. The accompaniments(hanh mo), whole Thai chilies, and chicken broth are signs of the authenticity. Meats are marinated and grilled nicely too. Everything is so so good. Support this place and family. We ordered the combo pho, and the broth was surprisingly bland & lacking the depth and richness you'd expect. The meat was tough, there was barely any tripe, and no tendon at all, which was disappointing for a "combo." I also requested less noodles, but that adjustment was mistakenly given to my husband's bowl instead. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the overall experience. That said, the menu offers a wide variety of broken rice dishes, so it seems like that might be more of their specialty. If I were to return, I'd probably try one of those instead of the pho.

After removing all the fat from the sandwich I had what amounted to about 2oz of meat on the entire $14 sandwich. It's apparent from small things that the owners are being really cheap and trying to fool people into thinking the place is classy. All the ceramic plates had deep chips, they used plastic ramekins, served the fatty meat used for flavoring pho as roast beef, and the minuscule happy hour portions (I'm looking at you single spring roll cut in half with a squiggle of sauce!!!). I didn't go in expecting authentic flavors or a screaming deal, but it didn't expect to be blatantly ripped off and lied to. The bill showed up and they had decided taking $8 off the $14 French dip (That had more fat than meat) was acceptable despite telling me it wouldn't be on the bill. I tried to eat it but spent most of my time tearing big chunks of fat away from the tiny pieces of beef. I left half the sandwich, a pile of fat, and the over fried, stale taro fries on the plate. I guess the meager half sandwich I ate was worth $6 to them. Not

As there are a lot of seafood options. However there is hotpot options and other noodle and rice dishes as well. The restaurant has a small outdoor patio. Inside has spacious table seating, some with booth and good lighting inside. There was ballad vietnamese music video playing. The restaurant was not busy and there were elderly men at the tables playing cards and some at another table they were chatting & drinking. Im not sure if they hold karaoke or have live bands but there is a stage with music instruments and a projector with installed party lights. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away. It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water. If I'm craving for seafood, maybe I'll come back to try their seafood options.

I found out later, you can also either call your order in, or you can order pick up or delivery through DoorDash. I came back on the following Monday, and the place was still busy, but not as busy. They have a decent number of cash register stations taking orders. They have an extremely large menu. I counted 18 different Banh mi variations, and lots of other things For my starter, I wanted to try the. Pate chaud, which is pate in a puff pastry, but unfortunately, they were out. Instead, I got a mini steamed bao bun, with fried chicken in the middle. For my banh mi, I ordered the egg, sausage, and pork loaf, but instead, I got the grilled pork and egg. I'm not going to take off any stars or anything, because hey, misunderstandings happen, and it was still an amazing sandwich. They gave me a number, and it was a short wait for my sandwich. Between the registers and the people making the sandwiches in back, it's like an assembly line operation. They are quick, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The sandwich was very large, The bread was still warm. I took the sandwich home, but I ate the bao bun on the way home. It was very good. The bun had a good consistency, and the chicken was excellent. Seasoned well, just the right amount of breading, and tender on the inside. When I got the banh mi home, that's when I discovered the mixup. But I enjoyed it just as much. The egg was fluffy, and the pork was excellent. . It was a little bit sweet, like a Char siu. The pork was also very tender. The veggies were fresh. There was generous Portions. I was only going to eat half, but it was so good, I ended up eating the whole thing. I will definitely be back when I'm in South sac. Heck, that sandwich was so good, I would drive down from Rancho, just to get one. Thanks!
