We got the wagu and brisket bowl and although both were really good, next time I'd opt for just the brisket, it had a Smokey flavor and it fell apart when you bit into it. Today I had the pleasure of trying Pho Rib, a spot my partner and I have had our eyes on for a while. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely woman who I believe may be the owner. She was incredibly warm, smiley, and welcoming, she truly made me feel like a guest in her home. The space itself is very cute, clean, and calm, with nice lighting and beautiful wood panels on the walls, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Easy parking is a bonus. She let me know about their happy hour specials, which include filet mignon pho for $9 and fried egg rolls (3 for $3) both of which I happily ordered. The egg rolls came out hot, fresh, and very tasty. The pho broth was rich and full of flavor, and the filet mignon was very tender and cooked perfectly. I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to bring my partner back so we can enjoy it together. Literally, some of the tastiest Phó broth I've ever had ! I found out they simmer it for 24 hours to bring out the flavor. We ordered the Filet Mignon and Rib Phó. Another good thing is they don't overload the meal with a bunch of noodles but provided plenty of tasty meat. We also ordered the barbecue chicken spring rolls very tasty, as well as their peanut sauce. Both of the servers were very attentive and friendly. We even met the owner. This is the best pho in this area! Place is clean and welcoming. The service is excellent as a lot of Vietnamese restaurants don't provide much services at all. I ordered the pho combo which had everything and also the rib! The rib was so soft, much more than other places I've had before. The booth was delicious, not too salty or plain. Noodles were great too as some other places' noodles are kind of hard and not thoroughly cooked. We were also treated with a coconut pudding dessert. The dessert was yummy and not too sweet. Absolutely delicious! The pho broth (made with real bones and steeped for hours) is absolutely flavorful and substantial while the noodles are cooked to perfection: a little chewy and well-separated. Also, in addition to the giant beef shortrib bones, which are cooked to fall-off-the-bone tenderness, there's also brisket, tendon, and filet mignon pieces in the soup. At the end of my meal, I was also provided with a little cupful of flan. (Personally, flan is my happy food. I love flan! I much prefer it over cake and just about every other kind of dessert.) While the cupful of flan was a little small, it really hit the spot; after finishing the bowl of pho, I didn't have much room left for anything else--even flan. I should also note that this is a family-friendly restaurant. While I dined, there were two families with small children also present. The kids were making happy noises, as kids are wont to do, and no one minded. That said, if anyone is deadset against being around kids, this may not be the place for him/her.Aside from the kids' happy noises, I dined to a background of easy-listening music. I'm not sure if it was a streaming service or if the music was part of the music video that was on the screen along the back wall. Frankly, it was unobtrusive and I really didn't pay much attention to it. The serving staff are friendly and helpful. When I arrived, I was invited to pick my own table, where a staff member then came and handed me a menu. Since I had decided to come here because I saw pictures of the pho rib combo, I knew exactly what I wanted and ordered it. The pho and all its accouterments were brought out quickly. First out was the plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil, etc. Next, the staff brought out a plate for me to place the rib bones. Finally (not even ten minutes after I placed my order), the staff brought out my bowl pf pho with the short ribs sticking out. Afterward, the serving staff came around several times during my meal to ask if I needed anything. Besides needing a top off on my beverage, I didn't really need anything. They work hard to make sure that diners enjoy their meal. All in all, this is a hidden gem and I look forward to coming back. (I already told some of my friends and family about it (in fact, I told them while I was eating!) and encouraged them to stop by.) The problem for me will be deciding whether to get the beef rib combo pho again or try something new. That'll be a tough call!
