Ok, I'll be for real: I didn't know there is a Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Enumclaw. I only found this establishment because my Google Maps discovered this place as I was still in Buckley. I thought I was gonna have to drive to Puyallup, but I was wrong for that. I ordered grilled pork noodle salad and Vietnamese crepe. The servers were very nice and professional to me. The restaurant interior is casual vibe. Parking is easy to find, and there is a huge public parking lot available right across from the restaurant as well. Anyway, I got to enjoy both delish dishes and had my stomach filled-up for my morning. I will come back to try Pho! read more

On a road-trip, my family was craving Pho and we decided on stopping by Pho Real. Our party of 7 was seated right away, as it wasn't too busy for lunch time hours. Service was friendly, bilingual (Vietnamese and English) and able to bill us separately for our lunch orders. As well as despite our large party, we received our food in a timely manner. I ordered a small P2 (Pho Combo: beef meatballs, eye round steak, flank and ox tail). Broth taste clean, fresh, the only complaint I have was that the oxtail was tough and a bit chewy -not too soft, as I have boiled/cooked oxtail myself with only 1 piece of it in a small portion. I typically do not write reviews for restaurants that didn't leave much of an impression (good or bad). But I felt the need to for this because the experience we had did not live up to all the five star reviews this place has. First of all, the interior of the restaurant is very dark, almost like a night club, which is entirely unnecessary for a soup restaurant. My wife and I ordered a steak pho and oxtail pho, with an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were a joke and felt like a gimmick, it had comically thin slices of shrimp inside and were packed with lettuce and rice noodles to make the rolls look full and plump. When the pho came out, the broth was cloudy and the oxtail was full of cartilage and fat with very little meat. Other than that, the rest of the toppings were pretty standard and tasted fine. The oxtail pho cost around $17 and was definitely not worth the up charge. My wife and I drove about 10 miles to eat here because of the great reviews, but were definitely underwhelmed. 2/5 star rating. read more

My new favorite pho spot! And it's only 10 minute further drive from my old place. Neighboring city. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's large inside and very nice and calm. My husband liked the calming music. The service was quick and friendly. We each ordered the thin steak pho P1 and pork spring rolls to share. We also ordered extra noodles. Under $45 for the total bill. I was very very happy with the flavor of the pho and spring rolls. Both were so tasty. Rich and comforting. I can't wait to come back and try the curry! Hubby had the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and I the beef broth with noodles (not on menu but server readily agreed I could have). We shared shrimp cold rolls with peanut sauce. Pho broth light and flavorful. Fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil and lime wedge to add at table. Cold rolls good and just as we anticipated. Vermicelli bowl was excellent and I'd order that for myself next time. Flavorful meat, fresh vegetables, tender noodles and fish sauce dressing. I really wish Pho Real had an online ordering option. I love their food and love sitting down to eat here as well. The problem I have is I typically will order a Small Beef broth and noodles (which is not on the menu) so with the language barrier it is very hard to order this, often times it still comes out with meat in it. I've tried ordering it as a P1 but asking for vegetarian and then it will come out with no meat but has veggies added. Not a huge deal but as someone who loves just the broth and noodles it does make it a bit difficult to order. read more

My husband and I came in at 7:25, not realizing they close at 8pm. We were turned away at the door, told that they are closing and are only doing to-go orders as there was "no one in the kitchen". We would have walked away without leaving a review and would have come back another time, except the thing is we followed in after another family who was sat down in front of us and given menus.. Thing is they could have asked us to finish by 8, or have been fair and have the same cut off time for everyone. But don't sit another family down right in front of us and then lie to us that there is "no one" in the kitchen who is making to-go orders. My husband mentioned that it was rude and we left. We were stared down all the way to the car. Extremely unprofessional and rude, we felt discriminated. A delightful pho shop, in a very cool town. My kids love the stir fry noodles with chicken. I've also had the vermicelli noodles with lemongrass chicken. Also, quite tasty. The pho broth is piping hot and the toppings are always fresh. Each time I've called in to place an order, the person answering is always kind. Same when I pick up the food. Great service. My only feedback is, the shredded chicken breast used in the pho, is over cooked. I've ordered it togo a few times. When you put everything together, the chicken is quite rubbery, and overcooked. Would be great to either use chunks of thigh meat, or get better at not over cooking the breasts prior to placing into the soup broth.
