They close at 7 pm (right during dinner time). Unfriendly and very odd. We were about to walk in only to have the door shut in our face. We were in the area and had hoped to get pho takeout for dinner. We were not even trying to dine in. Nope. Not possible. Which restaurant closes at 7 pm on a Thursday night?

Fried spring rolls

Ordered the pho with steak and tendon plus an extra side of tendon, and they did not hold back -- super generous portion! The broth was clean and flavorful, the steak was tender, and the tendon had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. Also grabbed the crispy pork spring rolls -- golden, crunchy, and delicious with the fish sauce. Service was quick and friendly, and prices are really fair for how much food you get. If you're a tendon fan, this place is a must. I'll definitely be back for the pho and to try their Vietnamese iced coffee next time.

Ambiance: (5/5) Great building with parking right outside. Price: (4/5) The pho is a little more expensive than others in the area. Food: (5/5) The pho broth is so complex. It has great flavors even without any additional sauces. Best pho I've had in this area. Service: (5/5) Food comes out quick and staff is very nice.

My parents and I stopped by for dinner this past Friday evening. FYI, they close pretty early at 7 PM. 19. PHO TAI NAM GAU GAN SACH (L) - 14.95 This pho comes with eye round steak, flank, tendon and tripe. Upon first sip, the broth was well-seasoned but doesn't contain a rich or deep ox-bone flavor. As I continued to drink the broth while eating the noodles and meat, I found that the broth was getting unpleasantly salty. I was also reaching for my cup of water after every bite. My parents' broth wasn't as salty so it's definitely somewhat inconsistent? The meat quality here is quite good and they give you a fair amount. The noodles were perfect in texture. The servers here were nice and we were in and out the door within 25 minutes. Great for a quick meal, but hopefully the pho broth isn't as salty next time.

A lot of options with good taste and no msg aftertaste. The service was lacking where you have to flag them for your water refills even though they're not busy and they're kinda just sitting there, staring at you. Also had to flag staff for toilet paper as the restroom was completely out. Kid-friendly location. Prices were high for the ambiance (or l

Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but the food was really good and service was super fast! Would definitely stop by if Im in the area again.

This is a non-descript place with ok food. If you want to eat and aren't looking for "wow" then this place is fine. For me, the flavor just wasn't there. There's free parking and the staff is friendly enough. The setting was clean and comfortable and I think the customer base is folks looking to eat. My vermicelli with grilled pork had a lot of meat, but the meat was tough and had no flavor. I found that disappointing. My wife's pork chop was so so.

My boyfriend and I have been on a journey to find the best pho place within 10 minutes of us. So far this spot takes the cake out of the 5 places we've been. The broth is delicious and is what deserves the 5 stars. We also had a vermicelli noodle bowl and the summer rolls. All equally yummy!! I'll 100% be back.

Crowded, not super clean, service is poor, however.... Best Pho in the NOVA area. Broth is great and hot, meat is tasty and plentiful, noodles are great with a good chew and flavor. Salt level is good.

I ordered the vegetarian pho with veggies and tufo. The broth was very bland and the tofu was nothing to rave about.

How could I have missed this awesome pho shop? Broth is delicious, meats are high quality, noodle dishes are A+, rice dishes are craymazing. Finally introduced friends to this place, all.were impressed with the quality and flavor. Noodle and rice dishes are pretty hefty - I think they're large enough to split between two people. Prices are reasonable for the area, and seriously, the food is really good!

This is a no-frills Vietnamese restaurant with the variety of menu options but the main staple being pho. You can get many different beef toppings in a small, large, or extra large bowl. They even offer chicken pho. The broth comes out piping hot and bursting with flavor! I didn't have to use hoisin or sriracha sauce in my bowl, although I do like to use them as a dip for my meats. If you're not feeling soupy, they do offer rice and vermicelli with grilled meat entrees too. I didn't see a whole lot of options for vegetarians though. The Vietnamese iced coffee barely filled the cup and the flavor was a bit lacking. I do recommend the coconut drink though! The service was ok as I don't really expect much from casual Vietnamese restaurants, to be honest. When we entered, a server asked how many from across the restaurant and pointed to a table, in which I sat in a ripped booth chair. He dropped off menus at the table, and come back shortly after to take our order. No one stopped by to see if we needed anything or how we were doing but it was fine. We received our appetizer spring rolls at the same time as our pho bowls. The restaurant isn't too big and became crowded really quickly. I even noticed a line at the door by the time we left. There's a few parking spaces out front but other than that you'll probably have to park in the street.

The pho here is amazing!! It kinda reminds me of the broth from pho 75 but a bit more oily. The noodles are cooked right and the soup is delicious! The topping portions weren't all that much, but they were very good. I do wish they would add more meat though.. overall the atmosphere was fine, but my biggest gripe is the metal chopsticks! Metal+Piping hot soup=burned mouth lol. This is definitely a good spot for pho and I would recommend it to everyone! Also parking is very limited

Favs and must try -- seafood cha gao is delicious with the combination of lettuce wrap, basil, mint. It's a perfect bite flavor wise. This has a lot of flavor and is cooked perfectly. Lobster garlic noodles-- no complaints here, it's delicious! Meh dishes-- chili wontons are nothing special, and the short rib paparadelle wasn't good IMO. Parking isn't the best but I usually find a spot in the garage and the restaurant has a discount code so don't pay for the parking until you get into the restaurant and use the discount code at the host stand. The restaurant is very pretty, good for date night or girls night too!

That was a big mistake because Truong Tien is inside and it is amazing! My son and I started with Banh Beo Nhan Kho Tom Chay, a dish of steamed rice cake topped with fried shallots, dried powdered shrimp (prawn floss) and chicharron which you then can top with a spicy sauce. They come in little tiny dishes that you can kind of slurp the rice cake from like an oyster. The combination of textures and temperatures and flavors was delicious - and not too filling as a starter. We wanted to have a Banh Khoai Nuoc Leo (crispy pancake taco-like dish with a dipping sauce) but they were out for the day (we were there at about 4pm) so instead we had vermicelli bowls (Bun Nem Nuong) with Asian style sausage and fried spring rolls. Topped with peanuts and fish sauce, it was fresh and delicious. The host greets you warmly and offers ice water, hot or iced tea (complimentary) and the restaurant decor is absolutely beautiful. There's also a gorgeous display of food for sale near the register, including fried bananas and donut/beignet sort of treats. I also loved the spicy fermented tofu dipping sauce. All of the dishes can be dipped in any and all of the dipping sauces accompanied by the other dishes. The waitress also brought a small bowl of rice with lemongrass pork for my baby to eat (on the house). The waitress was awesome :) Before tip the total came out to be $52. Our server seemed a bit impatient and abrupt when taking our order (we asked how many spring rolls come in each order, and added beef meatballs to one of our pho orders), but we were mainly there for the food. The space itself is roomy, casual and comfortable, with tables spaced and seated far enough apart to not feel crowded. We started with the pork and taro spring rolls, which came out hot, cut in half, and impressively crispy! (Just as a heads up so you don't get scolded like we did - the pork and taro spring rolls come with two per order, and the price for both is a great deal compared to most pho establishments!) For our mains, we ordered three pho bowls and one dry noodle dish. The pho arrived warm, and adding bean sprouts cooled it down further rather than cooking them through. The dry noodle dish, on the other hand, was excellent in flavor, though also not very hot - likely due to the fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber) mixed in. Overall, a solid, filling meal, even if the service and the temperature of the food could be improved. Why we keep coming back: The Pho Sate is absolutely exceptional - we've tried this dish at countless Vietnamese restaurants over the years, and honestly can't find it done this well anywhere else. After 10+ years, the quality has never wavered. The broth is rich and flavorful with that perfect balance of spice and depth, the beef is always tender, and the fresh lettuce, herbs, and crispy garlic add amazing texture. But the real star? Their legendary roasted chili sauce (see photo) - that golden-orange chili oil is what dreams are made of! Savory, spicy, aromatic, and absolutely addictive. We've been eating this sauce for over a decade and it never gets old. If you love bold, authentic flavors, this alone is worth the visit. Consistently friendly and attentive staff - over all these years, the service has remained excellent. They recognize regulars, are genuinely warm and welcoming, and clearly take pride in their food and customer relationships. Plenty of parking - a practical bonus that makes every visit hassle-free. Why this deserves 5 stars: When you return to the same restaurant for over a decade, it's because they're doing everything right. The consistency in food quality, the authentic flavors, the warm hospitality - all of it has kept us coming back year after year. This isn't just good food; it's a place that's become part of our dining routine. Bottom line: After 10+ years as customers, we can confidently say this is the real deal. In the last year, we usually order the Mi Nam Vang and Mi Bo Kho, and both are consistently excellent. This past weekend, we finally decided to eat at the restaurant in person at Eden Center, and it was just as good as when we order delivery. The guy seating people was very polite and friendly, and our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Bun Mam and Mi Nam Vang, and both were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and came out super hot, which I love. There are plenty of condiments on the table if needed, but honestly the broth is so flavorful that you do not really need them. They also give a great portion of protein, which I really appreciate. The place was packed and clearly very popular, and I can see why. I will definitely continue to support Hai Duong and hope they get even more business. And I appreciate that they got so much better compared to during COVID times, Great work, Hai Duong!
