They have the best grilled pork dishes. Any item that has grilled pork in it is exceptional. We ordered #1 and #6 for appetizer (grilled pork summer roll and pork egg roll). For entrees we had grilled pork with vermicelli and beef phö noodles. Everything was very delicious and we got the grilled pork summer roll for dessert ;) we will definitely recommend this restaurant for Vietnamese food. read more

A short drive from Hershey park but wanted something not fried or not a burger for dinner after spending 2 days in the park. Ordered take out as the kids were already crashing after a long day. Both of us got different types of pho, a fried roll order and a spring roll order. The pho wasn't the best I had, but not the worst. The #5 spring roll was fresh and delicious. Peanut sauce was great. Was pleased the good was ready when I got there for a quick in and out. Overall, good choice for non park food. read more

We came for hot noodles on a cold winter day. The food is fine. Pho was tasty, spring rolls were good although the peanut sauce was below average. Service is a bit slow but the waitress was pleasant. I give it a 3 star rating because its like 55 degrees inside so we ate with our coats on and left as soon as we finished eating. We will only consider coming back on a warm day!!! read more

I really enjoyed my pho (I had the chicken) and the marinated beef wrapped in grape leaves. Service was pleasant. The dining room is nice, on the smaller side. Our party of five was seated at two rounds tables "pushed together". That was a little awkward. We should have just pushed them apart and sat a two separate tables. Would have been much more comfortable. All in all, we'll be returning. Just one note - We didn't like the meatballs in the meatball pho. The meatball actually made me shudder, and it took all my strength not to spit out the one I tried. They are very processed, with a rubbery texture and an off flavor. Pretty standard Vietnamese restaurant. At least Hershey is fortunate to have one. That being said, the pho (Vietnamese soup) was pretty good - I have had pho at many legit spots in Westminster, CA (aka the real Little Saigon), so my expectations for pho in Hershey were quite low... however, this place exceeded my expectations. Pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of the garnishings - overall, some solid pho. Not sure if they have banh mi (Vietnamese subs) on the menu yet, but that would help. Service seemed pretty good. Bathroom was in an odd location (but at least they have a bathroom!). Owner seemed very appreciative. Ordered the spring rolls and two soups (for 2 people) - this was plenty of food... total bill was $20-$25. read more

First and only visit was a take out. Waitress and Cashier were friendly (5/5). The quality of food was just alright. I've had better vietnamese food but not in the area. In a land of over-priced tourist restaurants, Pho Miss Saigon stands out as one of the few great restaurants due to its fantastic customer service and delicious ethnic cuisine. Their menu has all of the basic Vietnamese staples with the beef vermicelli being my personal favorite. The atmosphere is small and simple, and the staff is very attentive. When ordering take-out, they include all of the same additions and sides for pho and vermicelli that you can get in the restaurant. The fish sauce is particularly good. Though I feel like I'm often being taken advantage of in Hershey in terms of low quality food at high prices, I don't feel this way at all at Pho Miss Saigon, and it remains one of gems in the area. read more

It's all about the Pho ! I always get Pho Tai, with the raw meat on the side that i place in like a Fondue. yumm! (Also, so the meat doesn't get so hard and overcooked, as they are little tender slices of eye round) It is quite good and almost even better than any PHO I have had in Philly in the Vietnamese quadrant. aka italian market, which also holds many mexican restaurants these days. Affordable, nice selection, friendly staff. For the price, it is a solid choice. If you are a real fan of authentic Vietnamese, we were a little let down. The peanut sauce lacked flavor, the main courses lacked the bright crispness that makes this cuisine so different from other Asian fare. The grape leaves app were very good. If there was a restaurant that I would consider the "gold standard" for how to prepare rice vermicelli with grilled pork, this is it. Most of the vietnamese places I've eaten at were in or near Redlands, CA which has a sizable Vietnamese population; none of which compare to this little joint located in PA of all places. read more

The place tried to be cute by having an inefficient round hall. The music was way too loud; loud enough where we could not talk without screaming at each other. The food was so-so. I have eaten in many Vietnamese eateries and by far, at least to my taste buds, one of the places to avoid. I ordered the sliced beef pho with the meat cooked with the broth. Instead, what I got was raw slices on top, still pink. My friend ordered bun-bo-huey and this was the first Vietnamese noodle shop that did not have it. Other noodle soups were missing ingredients that otherwise are found very commonly in other places. The service was...well...horrible. It took sixteen minutes to put in our drink water, and about forty minutes before our so-so food came out....one by one. By the time I was finished, others had gotten their food. Forget trying to order additional items... Overall, I usually do not ever write a review. Only fabulous eatery gets my rave. However, I felt I needed to let folks know what this place is all about. Found this on Yelp under Thai or Asian restaurants . It turned out to be Vietnamese , which I enjoy but my family was not thrilled . So they stopped by and randomly chose some dishes for me . They probably were not the ones I would have picked myself , but they were of very good quality . When we return to the Hershey area , I'll go on my own and do a better job of selection . I work near by and have gone here for lunch and dinner multiple times. Food is good, service is good, it is pricey for Vietnamese food, but it's in line with Hershey prices. I think the serving size is very good I have an issue finishing their vermicelli bowl and people with me that get the Pho always seem full too. Spring Rolls, Egg rolls, broken rice dishes, Pho, vermicelli bowls all great. Only let down is they do not make Bahn Mi. I normally get the # 34 it's Egg Roll w Grilled Pork Vermicelli bowl. It's a great addition to the Hershey area for food options. I will continue to go here and if you are looking for good food definitely stop in too! read more

Fair. Not bad, but fair. The Shrimp Summer Roll was large and generous, but the Bun noodle salad (with Spring Roll and Beef) and the Thai Iced Tea were both bland - not strongly flavored enough. Ok for Central PA, maybe, but I expect more (flavor) in my Viet food. read more

This is the second review that will briefly summarize multiple trips to this restaurant: My boyfriend and I have ordered for both take out and dine-in. They have made multiple mistakes (undercooking meat), having dirty silverware and have taken more than 25 minutes to process a check and have tips returned. I have had no issues with this and have looked beyond it because it is a hole in the wall and an OK restaurant. The food quality is 2 to 3 stars at best, and there are better options in this area. Where this restaurant has failed is with the management. The young girl was called to rectify a mistake with an order, and she requested that I drive 20 minutes after bringing dinner home. Serves me right for trusting her and not sifting through the bag for every single thing. This "manager" (who I asked for, and she introduced herself as) stated that if I drove back the opposite direction AGAIN for a refund that all would be okay. This is a 40 minute round trip and by no means a "quick" fix when buying food for multiple people. I returned for the refund and her attitude was "us" versus "you". She said that a refund would be provided for the meal, but modified the statement when I returned to only refund the cheaper part of the meal. She apologized and I left, planning to speak to the owner. She answered the phone later and explained that she has no intention of making up for the mistake, which should have included a refund for the meal in its entirety. She cited excuses and blamed other people however does not seem to care about what other people are doing, making rude comments and hanging up. I've spent hundreds of dollars here and will no longer spend another dime at a mediocre establishment. read more

The shrimp were grilled perfectly and the pork was tender and marinated just enough. In both dishes the vegetables were fresh and crisp and the fish sauce was fantastic. I've eaten there several times with my wife, and we like it. She says the spring rolls are very good, and she's had a good bit of experience with Vietnamese restaurants. I haven't, but love the spring rolls, and a vermicelli and beef dish I got there last time. Prices are reasonable, and I like the staff, especially the owner's daughter, who is very friendly and will make you feel at home if you're waiting to pick up a take-out order, which we make about once a week. We like eating in, too, and find the decor very appealing. They did have some trouble with the heat a while back, but that seems to be fixed now. read more
