Came back to try pho. Pho is decent. Not bad and not great. Both my kids really liked the pork belly with garlic butter rice. The food here is good and the service even better.

Came here with my girlfriend. She was craving pho and our regular place was closed so we decided to give pho mazing a chance. Small dining area with about a dozen tables. We were told to pick a table, my girlfriend started towards a table with 4 seats. She was told not there, we might have a bigger party to sit there. We were just 2. Okay, found a small table for 2. And looked at the menu. Not a lot of options. My girlfriend settled on the house pho mazing and I decided to try the garlic and butter rice with pork belly. Both were fair, neither was good. Her pho had a lot of meat so that was good. Prices were reasonable, about average for the area. While the hours were a good fit for that night, I doubt that we will return. Nothing bad, just not anything great.

Went in on a Wednesday night after work. Was greeted by a very friendly and cheerful lady, which was quite refreshing. Although there isn't much seating, we didn't have a problem getting a table for two at 6pm. We tried their pho mazing bowl, which has all of the meats included in a dac biet but with the addition of a rib. The broth was tasty and not too salty like other places. The egg rolls were crispy, tasted fresh, and flavorful. The only negative thing I could say about it is I would have liked for it to have more lettuce to make wraps with. It only comes with one sheet of lettuce and it gets soggy and cooked under the bed of egg rolls. The rib was also a bit dry and really hard to chew on in some areas. Overall, I had a good experience and it's worth a try if you're in the area and in the mood for some pho! It's also clean and has a nice aesthetic.

Wow!!! Absolutely loved this place. *** they don't take amex** That's the only thing that was bad for me since I travel for work and they use their corporate card. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and wholesome: you felt as if you were eating with family. The Thai tea was sooo good. The pho definitely is amazing. Highly recommend this place. Very clean and there is lots of seating.

LOVE this place! WOW The flavor of the broth, noodles, and the meat quality were all amazing! Definitely coming back. Service could have been paid a bit more attention to because they're short staffed, but I'm definitely coming back for the food. Space is a bit tight and the layout isn't great but giving out 5 full stars just for the pho itself.

I would like to shout out our server for 1. Being so attentive when she was the only server and 2. For her funny and inviting attitude. If she was stressed I did not sense it and she worked the room beautifully. Now the food was great! They were not skimpy on the meat and the spring rolls were a lovely addition. I also got the jasmine ice tea which was so refreshing, this place is open late so stop by!

The Pho was great. I had the filet mignon pho. It was fabulous. I also had a side of egg rolls. Those were amazing. Crunchy and tasty. I usually like restaurants with clever names so I had to give this place a try. I wasnt too hungry so couldn't explore the menu much. However the pho with the rib was pretty darn good. The spring and egg rolls were pretty delicious to start the meal. The service was pretty good and the ambiance was very casual. There arent alot of good viet restaurants outside of westminster but this was actually not bad. I would come here again to try other items on the menu.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine here. The pho was delicious and 'pho mazing' lol. Broth tasted like how my mom made it. Meat was tender. I'm glad they had vinegar onions to top off my pho too. I ordered the Pho Mazing bowl, which is usually your pho dac biet at other Vietnamese restaurants. I enjoyed the crispy pork rolls -- fried to perfection! Service: Very warm and welcoming waitress we had. She was very attentive and checked in on us a good amount of times. She noticed we ordered a lot of food and moved the basket of utensils off our table, which was pretty small. Ambiance: There's front seating in the restaurant and right-side seating of the restaurant. My bf and I wanted some quiet, so we chose to sit in the front where no one was sitting. Cozy spot. Each table had a basket of napkins, forks, chopsticks and condiments in it. The basket takes up a good chunk of the table, but it's nice not to have to ask for additional napkins. :) We'll be back again. I'm glad we found our new pho spot! Pho mazing service!

I got the pho dac biet (7.5/10) I usually don't get pho in Fullerton because most places have been disappointing but this one was pretty good! Broth was flavorful and portions were large. Probably the best pho I've had so far in Fullerton! If I didn't have time to drive to garden grove I would come back here. Plenty of parking in the lot. The space is pretty small but service is good!

Great experience! We ordered garlic noodles and pho filet magnon, it was huge portions and delicious! customer service was fabulous, while it took some time for the food to come out when it did the food was hot and very amazing. So worth the wait. I would come again and recommend it to anyone for a late night pho spot.

Ordered seafood pho, appetizer, and some crispy noodles. I had really high hopes due to the high ratings people were giving. But the seafood didn't seem fresh and I had to add a lot of condiments to fix the flavor. The gravy on the crispy noodle plate was literary like thanksgiving gravy. The appetizer plate was good. The peanut sauce seemed store bought. The customer service was good. I would not be returning unfortunately. read more

Is it Pho_Mazing or Faux_Mazing? Perhaps I picked the wrong day/time to go or I picked the wrong dish to order. The Bun Bo Hue was so watered down that despite adding lots of fish sauce, salt and pepper, there was no flavor to it. I told the server when she came to ask how everything was. She offered to exchange it to something else but I had lost my appetite and confidence in this place by then. I barely ate it. She didn't remove it from the bill, either. Glad others had better experience. As for me, I doubt I will return when there are others to try. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch after reading some great reviews. We usually go to a pho place in Orange, but we're short on time and decided to give it a try. One main draw is that they have a vegan pho broth. Many don't offer a meat free option. The chicken pho was tasty and the size and price is spot on. The veggie broth was nicely seasoned and my vegan daughter was very happy with the dish. We also got pork and tofu spring rolls. Both were very fresh and the pork was up there with the ones at Pho Oh Tasty, which happens to be one of our favorite spots as well. The service was great. Our server was attentive and offered suggestions on vegan items. She refilled our water promptly and frequently. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back soon to try other menu items. Pho-mazing it is! Had 2 hours to kill after dropping off computer at apple store in Brea mall. The ambiance of the restaurant is small yet quaint. But don't let that fool you, as the flavors are out of this world. As a card-carrying Vietnamese (yes, I used to possess a green card), I've had authentic homemade pho since birth. Never graced this place with my presence before, so the cute and helpful waitress recommended their pho special which comes with all the animal fixings and (drum roll please) a side of ribs. I repeat ribs! I've had it with oxtail (at other places) but this was a game changer! The broth was to die for and you felt like you're back in your saigon village after the first sip. The quality of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. They even served vinegar onions which is a good sign they were raised well. Well played a pho-mazing, well played. read more

Very okay place, I don't think the broth was very tasty compared to other places but maybe thats because of the area?? My grandpa and dad agreed with that especially at the higher price in comparison to Westminister/Garden Grove. Wouldn't personally comeback but would want to try a rice dish before finding out. Free thai tea though with check in I would bump it to a 3 1/2 - 4 See the potential though, just need some stronger broth, could've got a bad batch also at the end of the night. read more

The best Bahn Mis around. No joke, it is the PERFECT bahn mi. Nice crusty, high quality bread, super well seasoned meats, yummy pickles. I'm a huge fan. Also their pho IS Amazing! I'm a simple man, I find a good Pho place, and that's my new Pho place. We've been here numerous times, each visit is as pleasant as the last, comfortable seating, quick and happy service. Whether your eating in or taking out, you really can't go wrong. As far as meal quality, i'm sure there's much better Pho, and I'm certain there's worse. While I've been to plenty of worse establishments, this place seems to be the cream of the crop for local Yorba Linda Pho's. We'll continue to get our Pho on here, probably visit 1 or 2 others over the next few months, until I find something with better service and better Pho, this is the place. read more

Really good stuff here, the pho has a delicious taste that's not overwhelming but is just right. I also really enjoyed the Thai iced tea with it! The spring rolls looked delicious but I didn't get them as I figured I'd be too full already, but everyone seems to like those here. I tried their signature item, the pho-mazing, which was pretty amazing. Standout is undoubtedly the 2 pieces of huge ribs that comes with. Be sure to be super hungry or a big eater to polish this by yourself. Thought that the summer rolls were just okay, the deep fried Cha Gio were pretty good. Big plus for the welcoming and friendly service. read more

Came here with my husband for dinner. I'd come here again for the sandwiches as it's a good size for the price & pretty decent overall. The hubbo got a bowl & though the meat on everything in general was ok, it def wasn't fresh. Texture was like it had been sitting in a warmer all day. Springs rolls were practically all lettuce & not the good lettuce. They had shredded iceberg lettuce, like wet, cheap lettuce, which was just weird & not much else. Never had that at other Vietnamese places, ever. Accompanying sauces weren't that flavorful either. Could've just been an off day. read more

My wife and I frequent this gem often. We've tried several different dishes and they've always been fresh and flavorful. The owner is super friendly and even during the busiest of times is remarkably cheerful. She is a real people person, and her caring comes through every time. This is probably my favorite pho restaurant in terms of actual food in the Anaheim Hills/Placentia/YL area but they are the worst in terms of operations. They are open at random times of the day. Google, Yelp & their door signs all say different store hours. I have come by 4 times in the last month to try and eat with my family and they were closed every time. New ownership managed to turn a meh pho place into something AMAZING!! Our family eats pho pretty frequently and this location is the closest to us. We came here a while back after we dropped off our doggie to the groomers next door - it was pretty bland nothing outstanding. We saw the new signage and my hubby said slot of people on YL Buzz were raving about it. We were so were blown away this time around!!! We will def be back for more. Pho Mazing was NOT amazing. Let me repeat NOT amazing. This can possibly explain why there is such a high turnover of owners for this hole-in-the-wall location. I would like to preface I am pro-small business owners and part Vietnamese. This was my first and LAST time at this dining establishment. BEWARE that the young female who greets you, takes your food order and brings your food order, also mops the kitchen floor and dumps out the bucket of used broth/food in the clean-up cart -- only to NOT wash her hands afterwards, and proceed with bringing out your food. I know this because I had the misfortune of sitting at the table directly in front of the cashier area and right outside the kitchen 'curtain.' The curtain was left open. Mindful hygiene is not practiced. Eat at your own health risk. * I ordered my beef noodle (bun bo hue) soup with no white onions. My food came out with onions. * I ordered chicken wings (which takes up to 25-minutes) and it was battered fried chicken, coated with bread crumbs. It was a unique taste and take on Vietnamese chicken wings. * My husband's Vietnamese iced coffee (cafe sua da) has more ice than the polar vortex. This equates to maybe half the coffee and think that is being generous. In conclusion I do not know what all the Yelp rave reviews are about. My husband picked this place because of the reviews and our favorite pho place in Brea was closed today. read more

I ordered beef sandwich and vietnamese coffee. For the sandwich i love the beef and everything inside the sandwich expect for the bread its really hard to bite i end up throwing the bread and just eat whats inside. The coffee is not sweet as I expect but its ok. Will i go back again and try different food from them? Maybe ... cause i saw lots of people going in and out so i guess i ordered the wrong food. It had so many flavors so so good ! Lovely tofu banh mi! I haven't tried their veggie pho *yet*, but I did get the vegan soup side (best $2.50 I've spent!) which is a simple version of their pho without the noodles. It was unreal!! Can't wait to go back. read more

Solid place! Was looking for pho at a random time of day. I was actually drawn in because of their yelp offer of a free iced thai tea! However, they did require around a 10-12 dollar purchase (which isn't bad but caught me off guard). Would consider going again if I have another pho craving. read more

Solid pho. I was really surprised. I grew up in garden grove and am very particular about pho. So far this is only the second place outside GG I thought was good. And I've tried many hoping to find something "local" wherever I lived at the time. Spring roll was good. Different with lettuce and stuff in it. I think it was grilled beef or something. Pho amazing is my local go to Vietnamese restaurant for delicious pho'. Their filet mignon pho' is great! The cut of meat is fresh and very tender. They have great fried tofu and vegetable egg roll appetizers. But my favorite dish is the shaken beef dish. The cut of beef is delicious and tender. You can choose between their garlic butter rice or go old school with regular white rice. If you are in Placentia area, stop by Pho Mazing for great pho! read more

How could you mess that up as a ramen restaurant? The portions looked a little smaller than what I am used to paying for much less money. That photo of my black deluxe chicken paitan with pork is very deceiving. It looks like a lot, but it definitely wasn't. I usually can't finish my bowl of ramen in one sitting and take the other half home. I barely had any broth in there, and being that the broth was very good, I was disappointed to run out of it before I was even done with the noodles and meat. Would I return? Sure. I liked the food. It's not a place I would go out of my way to eat at, but if I was around the neighborhood and wanted ramen, I would dine there again.

7th Time, Last Time It's often said that you can't truly judge a restaurant until you've been there multiple times. However, my recent experiences here, particularly my 7th visit, have made it clear that sometimes it's better to trust your instincts earlier. Unfortunately, this will be my last time dining at this establishment. Service The service has been consistently disappointing, and it's hard to ignore it any longer. The restaurant opens at 5:00 PM for its second shift, and for the last three visits, the host has greeted us with an unmistakably negative attitude. From eye-rolls to muttered "ugh"s under her breath, it's clear she isn't too thrilled to see us or to be working there. On a recent visit, we arrived at 6:00 PM, and the restaurant was empty. The host, however, proceeded to seat us at two of the least desirable tables in the place--awkwardly located and offering poor views. (She literally only gave us 2 option tables) I've always preferred sitting next to my significant other, and for the past five visits, we've consistently chosen a specific table. It's not an unreasonable request, especially when the restaurant is nearly empty, yet every time I politely ask for that table, the host acts frustrated. What makes it even worse is her behavior when I point out the table we've always sat at. Instead of simply accommodating our request, she became visibly annoyed, complaining about an impending "rush hour" and the likelihood of a large party. Mind you, this was all happening in an empty restaurant, and we were the only ones there. It felt like we were being punished for asking for a small comfort--a simple request that should have been a non-issue. Overall Atmosphere Despite the charming ambiance of the restaurant, it's difficult to overlook the growing discomfort with the service. When the staff's attitude becomes so off-putting, it detracts from everything else. What should be a relaxing evening out for us has now turned into a frustrating experience. A warm greeting, a friendly attitude, and accommodating service go a long way in creating a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, this place has lost that spark, and it's hard to justify returning for what is supposed to be an enjoyable night out. If you're looking for a place with good food and a pleasant experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The food, while tasty, isn't enough to make up for the consistently poor service. For me, after seven visits, it's clear that this restaurant just doesn't value its customers enough to make it worth coming back. read more

I absolutely love this place! It's like a little hole in the wall, but it is so good! I'm a huge fan of flavorful foods, specially when it comes to broth, and this place has nailed it! Not only is the broth delicious, but they put the right amount of noodle, veggies, & meats!! This is my go to spot by work, so I go on my lunch break. There is only one server there, but don't underestimate the service. She is fast and very attentive. Overall, the quality and service of this place is amazing! My favorite local place for pho. I always get their combo special, and it is consistently good. Not too salty, with a perfect amount of anise aroma - just delicious! Their oxtail pho is really good too, a bit fattier because of the marrow, and also served with meat still on the bone. For appetizers I highly recommend the special combo plate (4 rocket shrimps, 2 egg rolls and 2 spring rolls). All in all you can't go wrong with this place if you're in the north OC area. read more
