Just so-so. I had a vermicelli salad with grilled chicken and egg roll for dinner. The service was very good. My Pepsi came in a can and no cup of ice or anything (I was afraid to ask for one in case they charged extra for that). The chicken had an odd taste that I can't describe. Not bad--just odd. And the egg roll was inedible because it too had a really odd and strong flavor that I could not place. I have had better Vietnamese food, but I have also had worse. read more

Came here on a Monday after work and I'm glad I did. This is my second visit and my pho (had it with rare beef and tripe) from last time was okay. I had the My Tho Style Seafood Transparent Noodle Soup but swapped out the transparent noodles for rice noodles. Service was decent but I had to ask for bean sprouts because my servers switched. And even then they give you less than a handful of bean sprouts :( but I'm happy they gave me the six chili peppers I asked for because most places hear me say that but give me two. I really enjoyed the fried onions in my soup because not only did it taste good but it smelled great! There's only one big piece of romaine lettuce, green onions, fried onions, and a variety of seafood (imitation crab stick, shrimp, squid, surf clam?) although I could've done without the last two because it was very rubbery. I also wish they added more vegetables. The noodles were great and the soup was amazing. I'd come again :) I'll remember to ask for more bean sprouts next time. I like this place, mostly because me & my buddy were in Windsor and we wanted some hot soup on a cold day so we ended up here. The waitresses were very nice & friendly! We both got the Large Vegetable Pho for about $12 and it was pretty big for the price! I highly recommend it because you get a decent amount of value!!! read more

Loved this place, I had the vermicelli with pork, mango salad and wonton soup combo. The soup was probably the best I've had of its kind, flavour was great as was the mango salad. Vermicelli and pork was very nice, pork was flavourful and grilled until tender. Best pho soup I've ever had! Fantastic food. Had never been there before and was pleasantly surprised!

Pretty disappointed with the service overall, but I'll try to set out the pros and cons. Pros: -food was overall average - tasty, nothing mediocre. -It was Canada Day so they had a sign stating they'd close at 9, my family of 4 arrived at 8:33 and they still took us in, along with two other tables. Cons: - to put it frankly, they waiter's heads are in the cloud. When seated we asked for some water and the waiter said he'd get us some, then turned around and completely forgot about us (not even a minute later). We thought maybe he wanted to tend to other things first so we waited 10min before calling another waiter over, this time asking for water and napkins because we had NOTHING! (by this time one of the tables who came after us had been fully served). She also forgot about us and by the time our food arrived (about 30 min later) we had to ask again. -portion sizes for the meal are smaller than they seem. As another yelper mentioned the bowls for XL Pho are wide but short, so they appear to have a lot but don't. -we were not the only table complaining about portion size differences and chasing down waiters. There were only 3 tables in the restaurant and yet we still had these issues. -when they gave us the bill, they deliberately gave us 3 mints though we had 4 people because we ordered 3 dishes (minor issue but reflects how cheap they are). read more

How mango has good food . The problem with this place is that it's way overpriced . I ordered a vegetarian Pad Thai no chicken no shrimp no beef nothing and they almost charged me $14 and I cancelled it Pad Thai with nothing in it should be 8 to $10 . Who pays $18 for a pad thai with chicken and shrimp . Out running errands and thought I would give it a try. Just a touch after the weekday lunch hour and the service was good. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. Did not have to ask for water refills. I ordered a noodle salad with grilled chicken and an egg roll chopped in it. Very delicious/ no wilted greens/no yucky bits, the dressing was good. It was a cold day so we wanted to bring the family to have hot soup noodle. Since the restaurant wasn't really busy, we thought the service should be fast. We ordered 4 main meal, 2 large fried rolls and 2 drinks... It took over them over 45 mins before our meals arrive. Portion size is not as expected, XL noodle is about M size noodle in Toronto. The roll size are small... The vermicelli was okay, meat was hard, a little over cooked I find. The only thing meet our expectation is drinks which has lots of jelly and beans. Definitely need more people to serve at this place... We had to ask 3 time for utensils for our kids. I give a 2nd star because the place is clean in general. read more

Went to Pho Mango yesterday late afternoon, and overall not a memorable experience. The ambience was like a school cafeteria, the service was okay. The veggie spring rolls were basically tasteless, and were obviously previously frozen. Our two main plates were good, but not the level of taste that you usually experience with good Thai food. I asked for hot but it was closer to mild. If you are looking for a quick Thai fix then this may do, however I assume there has to be better Thai food in Windsor. read more

First time here eating at this restaurant. Been very skeptical about this because of it's non-Vietnamese name "mango". This restaurant has changed names many times over the years starting from "Pho Litt" to Green Papaya, Red Papaya, Pho Red Mango, and now Pho Mango. I found their vermicelli (bun) and rice dishes (com) were outrageously expensive: $11.99 for a rice dish?! Holy moly. Wasn't even going to bother trying that. Vermicelli's price was a bit high too. So I really had no choice but order their pho. This restaurant offers a medium size bowl (which is the same as a large at other restaurants). Their large is a bit bigger than the large at other restaurants but they're clever to use bowls that are wide but short, making the illusion you're ordering a larger bowl (I think they're probably the same portion with the medium bowl). Although the soup broth looked flavourful, it really had no flavour and I had to heavily use both hoisin and sriracha sauce. Other than that the rice noodles and meats were great. It's an OK restaurant in my opinion. read more
