This brand-new restaurant hit all the right notes: great décor, charming service, reasonable prices, and large portions. Oh, I forgot to mention... DELICIOUS! We'll be back again, and again.

I want some of the frames hanging on the walls (the Parisian and London ones). Although the decoration is simple, it's charming, plus I liked the detail of having flowers and plants. We ordered a mango salad, spring rolls, and a chicken-shrimp pad thai. I need to say that the portions are big, we needed to take out left overs. The mango was fresh and firm, came accompanied with fried garlic, cashews, green pepper, lettuce, and a tasty vinaigrette. The spring rolls were meaty, I liked the crunchiness level, the flavour was nice too. The Pad Thai was ok, it was lacking some shrimps tho. The noodles were perfectly al dente, the tamarind was succulent. I would ask for it again. The service was friendly and fast. The kitchen works good as well, we weren't waiting long until been served.

The mountain of Pad Thai I had was quite tasty! With much more chicken than most places, I was full after only eating half of it. The place itself was super clean and had the coolest ceiling light fixture. I will be back soon.

Came here with some friends while visiting Windsor for Christmas holidays. Decided to try it based on a friends recommendation. Interior was clean and nice. Service was friendly. Food wise.... I was expecting a full Vietnamese restaurant, but their selection was pretty slim. They didn't have tripe on their pho list, and their rice dishes only had choice of meat and egg really (no shredded pork, or steamed egg quiche). They were missing most of the standard toppings for all their Viet dishes. Because of this I opted to try their Thai red curry instead (even though I was craving Viet food). It was good, but more spicy than most red curries I've had at other restaurants. Worst part.... Found a hair in my food :(

T15. Ho fun, dry style, Malaysian style.

I finally found the closet thing to char kuey teow in Windsor and I'm so happy! This is a Malaysian comfort food of mine that I always get when I visit family in Kuala Lumpur. I had lunch with my mom. Service was attentive and friendly. He didn't rush my mom which was great because sometimes she takes a while to decide. I had the T15 (stir-fried ho fun in a "dry style") choice of Malaysian style and with seafood. This place uses shrimp, squid, and mussels. I wished they had cockle clams here but it still tasted close! I like the charred wok taste. That's the best way to describe it. I'll come again when I have another Malaysian craving!

Taste is good, but is a little bit pricy, and serving is quite small compared to other Vietnam restaurants. I tried beef and meatballs pho.

One of my favourite Vietnamese places in town. Always a busy spot with the university traffic but service and restaurant is great

Well now that was a great dinner! P3. Yummy fresh and not to spicy. Lots of flavor!

The food here is reasonably priced and there's a good quantity for the price. Service is fairly quick, and the food is tasty!

I always have an excellent meal every time I come here one of my favorite restaurants. The only negative thing about the restaurant are the seats, I find them very uncomfortable. Their sign is easy to see as you drive by, but my friend did give me a heads up that their door was not obvious. You need to walk through a fence and then open a non deacript door. The artwork outside is awesome! When we walked in we received a friendly greeting and were quickly shown to our seats. We had made a reservation ahead of time and there was no delay to seat us upon our arrival. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders right away. I appreciated that they had multiple non alcoholic drinks and at a fair price. I started with the Thai Iced tea which was delicious, but I would have loved a glass 2x the size! We ordered multiple dishes to share amongst us. I did ask the server how many dishes they recommended that we order as I wasn't sure of the size. The items are brought out as they are made, so we had food being dropped off to is at random intervals. The only slight issue we experienced was when someone else tried to bring a plate of squid to our table. We let them know that we had not ordered it. They then went and talked to our server, who brought the squid back to our table. We also let them know that we had not ordered that dish. Our server did bring back our order slip and looked it over, and I believe at that point they realized that we really had not ordered that dish and just weren't rejecting it. I am not sure if it had been written wrong, communicated to the kitchen wrong, or what but we did have to state multiple times that we had not ordered it. The rest of our dishes arrived correctly. The crispy chive cakes were great, and the sticky spare ribs were AMAZING. The caramel glaze on the outside of the ribs was so good, and they were tender as well. The outside was super crispy. I would absolutely ordered these again. I would say that both of those dishes were only for 2 people. The sticky rice and jasmine rice were as to be expected, and I personally felt that the papaya salad was not as good as others I have had. The chilli noodles had an amazing broth and I would also recommend. Overall, I did enjoy our dinner but I am not sure that I would go out of my way to return. I am rounding up to 4 stars based on the sticly ribs alone, otherwise a 3.5 would be more fair. I have been hearing about Takoi for years, so maybe my epxections were too high but I was expecting a bit more.

Recently visited this great little place on Howard Ave and I was not disappointed…read more The first thing you notice about Thai Lanxang is that despite its relatively small size it's very contemporary and chic. It's really a nice environment and atmosphere to sit in and though I wasn't sure how comfortable those chairs would be to sit on they were quite enjoyable for the time we were there. The first things we ordered were a couple of spring rolls and a bowl of wonton soup. The spring rolls arrived piping hot and were rolled very tightly. Really nice taste to them and I enjoyed the sweet chili sauce that accompanied them. The soup was really simple and nice. A light but tasty broth that didn't have too much (if any) of the oil you often see floating on the surface of wonton broth. We tried a range of food to get a good feel for the place and really weren't disappointed with anything that we ordered. The sushi, I have to say, might be the best sushi I've tasted in the area. It was extremely well done. I tried their spicy California roll, Philadelphia roll, and rainbow roll. One of the things I really like about California rolls is when they don't just throw a piece of cut crab-stick in the middle of it. These were nicely shredded bits of crab mixed with the avocado and cucumber - the texture was great. The rolls were also pretty big; nine nice sized pieces of sushi in each of the rolls. Entrees at the table consisted of Pad Thai, Lemon Chicken and Orange Chicken. All of them were prepared and presented very nicely. The lemon and orange sauce was very... well... lemony and orange. Really nice flavor to both of them and the sauce consistency was nice and sticky - not runny like you sometimes get. The Pad Thai was ordered medium and that was decently spicy but very good as well. This is definitely a place I'll go to again, especially for the sushi - in fact I could see me going here just for a sushi night it was that good. The only thing they need is their own signature sushi sauce!

I'm back! I came here again with the same friend from last time. Served by the same waitress but…read morelet's get to the food! Mild/Medium/Hot (spicy levels) I ordered a small Hot and Sour soup and Pad Thai (veggie, hot, asked for no peanuts). My friend ordered shrimp wraps and Pad Thai (tofu, medium, asked for no peanuts). Their hot and sour soup is fantastic here! It's not loaded with starch as it is in many Chinese restaurants. It was WAY better than their Tom Yum Shrimp soup I had the last time. My friend enjoyed his shrimp wraps and loved the peanut sauce (we think the sauce is okay but just plain crushed nuts on noodles is not really for us). My Pad Thai was spicier than it should have been because I had just finished downing my soup so the spiciness from that came was enhanced. I squeezed the lime that came with my Pad Thai on top of the noodles which tasted great but probably made it spicier (again). Bean sprouts accompanied my meal and small chili pepper flakes were throughout my noodles. Funny thing though, my udon from last time was TOO salty and my Pad Thai this time wasn't salty enough. But there was a salt shaker on our table so that solved things. My friend's Pad Thai was darker orange-red than mine from the tofu and the sauce that covered it. He really enjoyed his meal as he finished a good 15-minutes before me. I bumped my review up one star because I honestly do not mind trying new things at this location! Their Hot and Sour soup helped too :) I'll be back soon!
