If you have some experience with Pho, this place's soup is very different from the other ones. The soup is very sweet, which is kind of weird for me. The meat and noddle are great, sorry I am just not a fan of the soup. I felt bad that the waitress told me that the soup is really good, and I tried it twice and they are the same. Owner is extremely nice and personable. Food is fresh and delicious. We had an order of the spring rolls and shrimp/pork egg rolls both excellent. The peanut sauce was just right. The spring rolls were made perfectly and actually stayed together instead of falling apart once you started eating them. I had a vermicelli beef noodle bowl and the fish sauce made the dish. I eat a lot of PHo! You can concider me a connoisseur of the stuff. This place is by far the best place to it. The spring rolls are amazing as starters. The chicken PHo is out of this world and the broth is perfect and they do not use MSG! Their price is right! The Vermicelli is incredible! I don't know who could ever complain about it, they use the perfect vegetables in their recipe. The environment and personel are very inviting and warm. I'm so glad yelpers didn't let me down. This place is definitely a hidden gem. I only had the small bowl of steak and raw flank pho but it was enough to overfeed myself for two days. I called ahead and ordered to go. The lady who took my order treated me like she's known me for years, but in a good way . The broth was the best I've ever tasted and the meat was plenty. I tried to order a side of vegetables but she insisted it didn't need it and let me k ow she gave me extra bean sprouts. I decided to give it a try and I'm happy to say the the reviews didn't disappoint. The pho was really tasty and so soothing to me. The service was very friendly as well. Wow! The food here was incredible! I am Vietnamese so I feel like I have some authority when I say that this place has one of the best pho broths I've ever tasted. Been coming here for a few months even though I've known about it for a while. The food has been consistently great and better than some of the other ones around town. Not a pho connoisseur but can tell you, it's delicious and everyone I've brought has been happy too. I've been let down by some other places (really fatty/oily and pricier or way too much anise flavor) so compared to other places, live Pho Lee. Also not sure how can go wrong with Thai iced tea but other places have and pho lee has great Thai tea with BoBa. For the low price definitely worth trying out! read more

I loved the broth, the pho was phenomenal and the lady serving us was very sweet. I got a small beef pho and it had a ton of meat (though I felt like I ran out of noodles really fast. Then again it was the small, and the large is only a $1 more so maybe I'll get that next time) My husband ordered the one with the tripe and he said it was awesome as well. We got the pork egg rolls which were LAVA HOT, we couldn't even touch them until we were done with our pho, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The best pho in IE! Used to be pho ha in Rancho but after trying this out today, it's definitely the best here. You can tell right away that it has no msg. Came to this place for the first time, usually go to another restaurant down the way. The large Pho was very filling and reusable priced. Lots of noodles and a good amount of beef. The only issue I had was the most of the beef was very fatty, which I don't care for. I had to take out quite a bit, but still was full. Place is kind of small and gets busy. All I have to say is wow!! Didn't even get a chance to taste the food before writing this. I was really hoping to give them 5 stars. Ordered a pho and asked for a large and was met with a quick snap of "we only have large" although the menu clearly stated there were 2 sizes, but ok no big deal, I got the large. Once I received my food I asked for some hot sauce and was asked "you want more?" There was none in my bag and she argued there was some. To prevent her from continuing I just asked if I could just have some more then. With a huff and a puff she gave me some sriracha packs. I wanted the one that was on the table which was not sriracha and she said they don't have containers, although they used containers for my to go sauces. She refused to give me sauce and I just told her she was horrible. As I started to walk away she then offered to pack me some. I declined at that point I just wanted to get away from this snapping woman. Will not be going back even if the food turns out to be amazing. Hope this bad review was worth a hot sauce. read more

Now I finally understand the negative reviews written about this restaurant. First impression of the place was actually good. My gf and I sat down and ordered. Brisket for me, and a brisket with steamed tofu for her. The waitress wrote our orders down and I assumed she understood everything. I mean whats there not to understand right? Simple. Then we asked for sliced onion and extra lime. She looked at us and left. We made eye contact so again I assumed she acknowledged my request. My pho comes out relatively quick, but her pho was taking a bit longer. Finally her pho comes out, to find Fried Tofu in her soup, instead of steamed how we asked. She had a very confused face and took the pho back. A few minutes later she comes back with the correct order. SHE DOES NOT TALK. She will nod or just look at you. The lime and onions we asked for? Completely in one ear out the other. We then had to ask the owner to bring it for us. As far as the food, its pretty good. However, the service is shit. They will never give you anything until you ask: "Refill my water, can I have the check, the checks ready," literally every single thing. Only reason why we came here was its closer than Pho Amor. You want real pho and BOMB service in this hood, go to PHO AMOR. I guarantee you wont find anything wrong there. Oh yeah another thing, the chairs a bit heavy so when you pull them out or push them in, it squeaks. So every time a customer sits down or stands up, you will hear the chair dragging on the ground.
