    Chicken pho
    Tina S.

With the drop in temperature, I've been craving some hot pho and have been coming here. The service is prompt and the food is pretty fresh. I always get their chicken pho, and it comes with additional steam vegetables like cabbage and carrots so if you don't like that, you can request yours without any. I like their broth, it isn't too oily. Indoor dining and outside dining available. I have been ordering their egg rolls, chicken pho and Thai ice tea. They have vegetarian options. The chicken pho came with chicken breast meat and plenty of it.

The Pho Ga (chicken pho) is delicious. There is a lot more chicken in here than some of the other pho restaurants I've been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to take this to go but it was well worth the almost $20 I'm very happy with this meal. I'll be dining here as much as I can in the future. I would have loved to sit inside I just didn't have enough time but it is very peaceful inside and calm. Thank you guys

Thought I'd give my favorite pho place in the IE some love! My fiancé and I have been coming here for years. What can I say? Nothing beats good service and good food. Andrew always recognizes us and gets our order spot on. I haven't seen him in a while but the other gentleman and young lady are great too! They don't even need a pen and paper, they memorize our order to the tea ~ so impressive. From the appetizers to any noodle soup you get, everything here is packed with flavors and delicious.

One of my favorite Pho restaurant in Upland! Super friendly staff, food is always good and same quality never changes. I sometimes eat there and sometimes take out. Never disappointed, I always order the same thing which is the beef noodle soup and shrimp rolls which is a must. Highly recommend this place

Tonight I had the chicken pho and the shrimp spring rolls. Both were excellent. The perfect thing for a cold night. Great service, friendly people, clean facilities, sufficient parking and reasonably priced.

I ordered Pho King for takeaway, and it was the first time I've had an order from here in over three years. I ordered the Vegetable Pho and Tofu Spring Rolls. The Pho broth was a miss for me; it was good but you could tell it had a lot of oil in it based on the separation. The noodles and vegetables tastes fresh; which was a nice plus. The Tofu Spring Rolls were delicious, but they put I believe garlic oil (based on the description) in them which I had asked to be removed - they were too greasy for my liking. I would give them another shot to dine in; and see if the order is more accurately followed. That is always the issue ordering takeaway - you run the risk of things not being followed and/or missed.

Great service! Family owned and operated. The phone is amazing! I also live the veggie egg rolls and the spring rolls. Ambiance is nice and the place is very clean. Two TVs if you want to watch sports, but they keep it low so you can enjoy your conversation. Second time here and I will be back!

Well, I had another phò craving and happened to be in the area of Phò King, a house I've seen several times and hadn't had the opportunity to try. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be underplaying it. I ordered the ohò dac biet and a side of nem nuong rolls. I was in heaven for the next 49 min. The broth makes or breaks a good bowl of phò and this broth was rich and fragrant. Everything was well presented and the young Viet staffers were very attentive. They even understood my viet language skills. Score another plus! I will be returning soon. Hope to se some fellow Yelpers there.

Second time eating here Average but good Vietnamese food Got seated inside right away, not a busy night Friendly young male and female server Grilled pork chop with rice Eggrolls Large "Build Your Own" Beef Pho Soup (flavorful broth with steak, fatty brisket & flank). Since we didn't get to finish our soup, and all that was left were meat & noodles, we asked the server for extra broth and they did not disappoint Iced coffee Prices have gone up

Food was very tasty. It came out very quickly. We'll definitely return. Only reason why its not 5 stars because some of the items were expensive. The fried dumplings were $12. Ive never paid so much for dumplings as appetizers. The Thai tea was $6.50, again I've personally never paid that much for a Thai Tea.

Where is the lettuce and the cilantro. Just a few pieces of pork. What a disappointment.

I always find myself at Mestiza at least once a week! My drink go-tos are the Spanish Latte and their unique Bees & Flowers Latte, depending on my mood. Very straightforward, but really well balanced. If you've never had chicory coffee before, it has a deeper, slightly earthy flavor that stands out from a standard cold brew without being overly bitter. It feels inspired by Louisiana/New Orleans-style coffee rather than the super sugary "dessert coffee" trend that a lot of places lean into right now. What I especially appreciate is the price point. At around $5.75, it feels reasonable for a specialty coffee drink that still tastes unique and intentional.

The line was out the door, but I knew she'd love waking up to a nice cup of coffee, so the wait didn't bother me. I ordered coffee along with three ham and cheese croissants to go. When I got home, my wife was so happy. She ate part of her croissant but didn't finish it. My son did the same and only picked at the edges. I ended up finishing mine and the rest of my son's. About 8 hours later, after grilling dinner, both my wife and I suddenly became extremely sick. Severe stomach pain, nonstop trips to the restroom, and all the signs of food poisoning hit us hard. Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, especially on a busy holiday, but I also hope food handling and quality control are looked into so no other families have to spend Mother's Day ending like ours did.

I wouldn't necessarily consider myself an avid coffee and matcha goer, but moving back home saddened me, knowing that many of my go-to options to indulge in coffee and tea were now 45+ minutes away. However, one of my recent discoveries was The Greenhouse Matcha on Transit and Euclid, located in a historical building from the early 1900s! It has been my go-to since, and I appreciate that they have rewards (I believe every 8th drink is free), which is rare for most small coffee and tea businesses. Their menu is simple, with unique options not found elsewhere, such as the "Monkey Matcha" containing banana sauce and condensed milk, or their unique Strawberry Matcha - Fresa con Matcha, which is different from the strawberry matcha you see elsewhere. I will say that some may consider their prices pricey, which... they're not wrong! However, considering the scarce options available within the city, one is paying for quality, quantity, and convenience. I find their mini ball ice cubes in their drinks enjoyable, and their serving sizes generous. The staff is incredibly sweet, helpful, and attentive. The inside is cute and cozy, but rather small with limited seating, providing at most 5-7 seats, with their outdoor patio providing maybe 3-6 seats. One can find matcha essentials among other things (stickers, cookies, etc.) on their shelves or cart stand located in the middle of the shop. Recently, I visited on a Sunday afternoon with my sister, to a crowd of 2-5 people waiting for their drinks. Parking was quite easy, considering the coffee shop Mestiza, located next door, was closed. This might not be the case when both are open, so expect to potentially park on Laurel Ave if parking is full on Transit Street. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Bean Dream Matcha that had a good balance between vanilla and matcha, topped with creamy foam that tasted just like French vanilla. My order was ready within a reasonable amount of time, and I was able to sit down with my sibling while we waited. All in all, a place everyone should try at least once.
