Being someone who eats Pho regularly and loves it... this place looked really cool but unfortunately there pho was the worst pho we have ever had. Definitely not bone broth more like water with top ramen seasoning.. they don't give you the bean sprouts and basil like usual. Service was great but unfortunaly when I ask it this was made with bone broth they didn't know what I was talking about. They should change their name to PHO King Disgusting. I recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're in the mood for something a little different than the traditional Florida fare. The Asian inspired dishes were tasty and there was a big variety of beer and sake. Favorite dishes were the steamed buns and Korean short ribs. Left one star because Yelp forces you to do so, but if I could of left negative stars I would of left 5. This place is absolutely disgusting. I've had incredible pho but this is absolutely not authentic but I mean what else could you possibly expect in the keys. My pho tasted like it was something out of a box. Noodles were not cooked, tofu tasted old and mushy. The pork ramen was basically raw pork in water. Horrible. Wasted $60. Our trip was from July 4th weekend. I was hoping the food would be great here, but it was a great failed. The service was ok, but the food was like pre packaged pho where you just add water and dress it up with some protein and sprinkles of light veggies then add a crazy up charge... Not authentic for sure. Did not hit the spot event at 1%. If you're craving pho, pack some cheap packets from your local Asian store with you on your trip. You can dress it up anyway you like it and I'm sure you'll enjoy it more... Will not return. read more

I don't get the low ratings. This place was absolutely outstanding. A self-seating informal noodle bar with great selections. They also include pictures on the large menu board above the bar to assist you in selecting. We had the Red Curry with Shrimp and the Soft Shell Crab with Soba Noodles. The Red Curry came with a ton of large shrimp and the broth was very tasty, with the right amount of heat. The Soft Shell Crab came with 2 medium-large crabs. The broth was also really good. Prices were fair, considering what dining in Key West can run you. Service was adequate and super friendly. read more

I love pho and was excited to see this restaurant open on Duval Street. Sadly, although the portion was very generous (I didn't even finish it, which is rare for me), the pho itself was pretty mediocre. It's all about the broth, and Pho King's broth was Pho King tasteless. Adding insult to injury, even by Key West standards it was ridiculously priced (a bowl of pho and a glass of iced tea, with tip, came to over $27 -- for considerably less than that I could have had pretty much any lunch on Duval Street that my heart desired). Fortunately, there is a better pho place in town, Sister Noodle House. I'm going to stick with them from now on. read more

This place is really, really bad. It was in no way authentic and they use basil oil instead of fresh basil. Guy said he'd been in this business ten years and basil goes bad too quickly....absurd. I should have known better when I didn't see prices on the menu. ‍. I poured half a bottle of soy sauce in and there still wasn't any flavor to this faux-pho. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Not only is this place serving old/expired hot pot and pho, but their staff is rude as hell. My sister first ordered the tofu pho and it was sweet. What kind of pho is sweet?! They begrudgingly let her pick another option and she got the miso hot pot. Again, disgusting. The broth tasted sour, as if it was super expired. She let my boyfriend try it in case it was just her not tasting correctly, but he also agreed that something was off with the hot pot. When I told the waitress about the second option, she just shrugged her shoulders as if they've been serving their food like that and it should be okay. Uh, no. Honestly, they should be shut down. My husband and I stopped in for the first time at this delightful little restaurant on Duval Street. The server, named Ginlu, was friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations on food selections as well as different cold sakes. She brought several to the table to help me decide and the cold Pearl sake I ordered was delicious. The soft shell crab noodle bowl was outstanding, best broth I have ever tasted! Service was great and food was good. We ordered a shrimp tempura for apps along with dragon bowl (chicken) and the ox tail pho for entrees. The chicken pho was spicy and yummy. The oxtail pho was full of meat and tender but lacked a little on the flavor side. Price is fair for the area. The reason I can give it the 5 stars is because of the "service charge". An automatic 18% gratuity is included with bill even though we only had two people. That's a little off putting especially since we didn't see it advertised anywhere. After eating here for the first time, I've been back probably 20+ times. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Key West. Service is always amazing and quick, and food the AMAZING. I always get the pork belly steam buns & the Soft Shell Crab. I order the half size of the soft shell crab & sub the crab for beef. The awesome in the name is misleading. Their pho broth had little to no flavor, and the beef was chewy with chunks of fat. The staff came to our table one time, except for when delivering food and that was to take the order. After asking once, we waited at least 10 minutes for the check, and ended up getting up and waiting in line for another 5 minutes to pay at the bar.
