20/10! Ordered the Thai tea with boba, it was brought to me first then within 8 minutes of me sitting down the food is done! Flavorful! Yummmm. I go to school across the street and they never fail to fill me up before heading home. Now what really set me up to make this my pho spot was the guy behind the counter, he charged my phone while i waited so i could use my Apple Pay!! 20/10 for customer service that's ON POINT! Quick, yummy, and nice people. Definitely worth the stop!

Food is fair, I ordered the house pho medium bowl with the daily special combo! Pho soup was good but the meat was too hard to chew. I was so hungry I just swallowed it down. They steam bean sprouts free of charge, if necessary. Pink lemonade is good. Two spring rolls were excellent. Flan is really tiny, I honestly thought it would be a little bigger. Service is okay. I do love the busy atmosphere ambiance, I do plan on going back again!

Came back with a party of 8. Called ahead to make reservations and when we got there, our table was ready and our waitress was ready to take our order. This time around, I opted for a vermicelli dry dish. I think it was #40? We also ordered the fresh spring rolls and fried rolls as well as Thai tea (buy 2 get one free) we ordered 4 :) got 2 free :) boba was 50 cents extra for each drink- which isn't bad compared to other boba spots in the same center. This is my 3rd time here and I've enjoyed my food every visit.

We haven't been to Pho Hai for a while because we always have Vietnamese food in Rowland Heights. Pho Hai is located in a plaza right across Mt. Sac (Mt. San Antonio College) and it's next to Taco Nazo and Scoopz Premium ice cream. Hubby and I ordered Pho Dac Biet (Special Vietnamese noodle soup with rare steak, flank, tendon & tripe $16 for large size) and grilled pork spring rolls (4 pcs for $10.50) for late-night dinner. The rare steak quality was so fresh and delicious and the broth was on point and flavorful but we didn't feel too thirsty afterwards. The grilled pork spring rolls were also good and they made the wrap so thin. We will go back there again when we crave Vietnamese food. The price was also fair. Service was okay. (PS We redeemed the free Coke by checking in on Yelp but the server forgot to give us and we had to remind him)

Delicious una sopa de mis preferidas servicio de primero ambiente tranquilo lo recomiendo

Order with NO onion and no cilantro!

Raining day, order to go. Was not the preference place. But is the closest. Called couple of times, no one answer the phone. Tried 1 last time and finally someone answers. Order a soup noodles, requested NO onion, NO cilantro. The lady repeated the order, everything was correct. When arrived home, open my orders, there were lots of onion and cilantro. (See photos) Call them...they ask me to bring it back and exchange it for me. Kidding me, is was pouring rain. Was going to toss away, but it Cost almost $20 for that soup noodles, I picked out every single green! What if I'm allergic to the greens? Shouldn't they just credit it back to my credit card or have a better solution? Will not go back nor recommend this place. Food is very bland. $20 noodle...not worth it!

We went to a Sunday lunch at Pho Hai which is located at a plaza right across the street of Mt. Sac. The restaurant serves pretty wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine. The decoration is traditional and eatery style. It is a mom-and-pop restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese food. Service is quick and friendly. We ordered bun Bo hue, ingredients and noodles are fine the soup base is lacking spiciness. And crispy noodles Mi Xao Gion, it's flavorful, crispy, with good amount of ingredients and sauce!

My friend and I were really hungry after visiting many stores for a house project. Came here many times before but recently service was just okay and food seemed just okay too. When the service is mediocre, even food seems to taste mediocre.

the food was delicious! there weren't a lot of people when we came here at night for dinner, so that's a plus! we will definitely come back in the near future for some yummy pho!

Ordered through Grubhub and loved that they offer tofu spring rolls for an affordable price. For 4pcs for $13. I wish they also included fish sauce though instead of just peanut sauce. It was wrapped nicely and none of the rolls stuck on each other (no rips).

Pho Hai is a pho restaurant located in Walnut. It's located in a plaza with a large parking lot and lots of other food locations. The shop itself has a good amount of seating inside and a restroom. The store itself was clean and service was good. The food came out quickly and everything was hot. Overall, ambiance and service was as expected. Food We ordered the #5, the #6, and the B1. The pho was $13 for a medium and $14 for a large and the banh mi was $10. For the price, the portions were big. The pho was pretty tasty especially when you add in chili, lime, and toppings. Definitely opt for the larger portion. The meat wasn't the greatest quality but it was a filling meal. The banh mi was very tasty and had a nice crunch to it; definitely recommend. Overall, the food was good and definitely try them out. Overall: 4.2 The ambiance + service: 4.5/5 The food: 4/5 The price: $$

The Kobe beef pho is hands down the best tasting i've ever had ! The guy was super professional and helped keep everything coming out hot and fresh. This is the go to spot if your looking for a chill home-made meal !

My spouse wanted to check out this small Pho place across from Mt. Sac. college. Ordered 1. Daily special combo -it comes with soup choice (item #1-10) along with egg rolls OR shrimp and pork eggroll, a drink and a homemade flan. Ordered #1 - Pho Dac Biet Xe Lua - The flavor of the soup was good not the best. 2. Chicken baguette - It was perfectly warm delicious crunchy sandwich. The marinated chicken was different and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. The only reason for one less star is because of the price. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

Community staple and favorite. This restaurant has been here forever (pho-ever, hehe) around 2020…read moreand I just only recently had it with my mom. I guess it used to be a Japanese restaurant, but it always looked so fancy on the outside that when I was in MS/HS/college, it looked too bougie to go to. Now 15 years later and with paltry income, I can treat my mom to lunch here! They're open at 11 AM, but we went in at around 10:50 AM since the Open sign was turned and the Open lights were one. Worker there greeted us with a smile, checked up on us the entire time, refilled our waters, brought us bowls to help us split food even when not prompted, and had a smile on the entire time. For the hour that we were there, a single diner came in and a party of 8 as well. They have a written wait list in front and a to go order kiosk, so you can tell they're pretty popular. Both of us got custom pho, which is $17 (the lowest base price unless you get plain) and you get an option of 3 proteins. Add an extra $1 for fresh noodles. We both just opted for the classic thin noodles. I ordered without beansprouts thinking it was already going to be in our broth, but it comes out as a side dish but the plate was enough for my mom and I to share. HUGE portions of pho. The bowl size is easily a large at any other pho restaurant. Both of us finished all of the meat in our order, but there was still a decent amount of noodles left so come in hungry. I ordered my custom pho with beef brisket, flank, and rib eye. Some of the cuts were a bit more fattier with big chunks of chewy gooey fat, which I'm not a fan of and left in the bowl. Other than that, pretty good meat quality. Not the most tender, but not tiny pieces or too dry either. Broth was pretty flavorful, nice depth of taste with the beef stock flavor, the onions and other garnishes. It's a bit fatty in taste, but it makes it richer in my opinion. We got a regular fried rice to try and take home for my brother's lunch. It's a plain one with carrots, peas, and scrambled eggs with some onions, garlic, and pepper (the spice). Light in flavor so it's not mega greasy. Just add some sauce on the side to taste. Overall, not a bad experience.

Pho and coffee came about the same time. pho noodle was standard size with enough pho noodle (still too much for my taste). the beef slices do have some pink (raw) color when it was served. soup was flavorful enough. coffee was too sweet for my taste.
