Usually I order pho tai gau or pho tai at pho places. Meat: this place had by far the fattiest slices of meat I've ever had at any pho place. I felt that rather than eating meat, I was actually just eating straight up fat. However, they were generous on the "meat" Broth: it was incredibly light in flavor. Usually I prefer not to use Sriracha when eating pho, because I like to appreciate the depth of pho broth. But as I was eating my pho, I was actually getting fatigued from trying to search for any type of depth or flavor in the broth. About halfway through, I gave up and just used Sriracha to compensate. Overall, the pho here was not memorable, since I can barely remember my meal from only three days ago, and I wouldn't come back here for pho again. I think I'd try a rice dish instead. read more

I had a very good first impression of this place. My friend and I came 15 minutes before closing (note: I really dislike going to restaurants when they are about to close because I feel bad and it's awkward when you're the only ones there and the owners are just staring at you waiting for you to leave... But we were really hungry and cold and pho sounded bomb). Fortunately that wasn't the case here! The waiter was friendly and happily took our orders. We ordered a large #1 and medium #2 pho beef noodle which came within the minute we ordered. It was super delicious and they were very generous with their meat! Definitely my new little spot! The broth here is delicious, unlike other places where you can tell it's been sitting for awhile. It's tasty and fresh. The Pho has a very decent amount of meat which is never a bad thing! And they also give a very good portion of mint leaves, bean sprouts, and limes. They definitely don't skimp here. I would reccomend the #9 Pho and try their eggrolls or springrolls! You will not be dissapointed. The only complaint I really had was our thai tea was obviously not mixed with enough half & half. I asked for more which they had no issue doing, but the guy only took one of the two drinks we had and did it..bit dissapointed, but at checkout we receieved a 10% discount which I believe was for the mistake. Update: there seem to be a change of management, the menu is not the same, and no longer serve my favorite Viet beef dice. It is worth it for $8. Now, the bad. I also ordered 2 egg rolls with my pho. My daughter started to eat it when she finds a long hair. I came here on a Wednesday early evening around 4:00pm. I just came from the local hospital in the area and finished my intern shift so I was starved but I also had a tutoring gig in the area after so I decided to grab a bite to eat here. The weather was cold and a little bit cloudy so I was craving some soup but I was also craving the freshness of springs rolls and that oh-so-yummy Vietnamese fish sauce. I decided to get a bowl of just pho broth and noodles with an order of 4 shrimp spring rolls. The total came out to be around $13 dollars without tip. The pho broth and noodles were delicious. I didn't realize how big of a bowl they would've given me so I didn't finish them all. The four shrimp spring rolls came with iceberg lettuce, half cut shrimps, noodles, and a peanut sauce; however, I decided to substitute the peanut sauce for the Vietnamese fish sauce. The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking so it was a struggle to finish the four spring rolls. The spring roll wrappers were also a little hard near the edges like they didn't hydrate them enough before rolling so I ended up having to briefly dip them into my pho broth soup to soften them. Overall: Would definitely come back here for a snack or meal! Service was excellent and the place was clean. read more

I am giving Pho Ha a 5 star due to the large portion of their "regular" sized Pho, the generous amount of meat they give you and the pricing. I was really craving a good and tasty Pho that would hit the spot and this place did it. I decided to avoid the dinner crowd in certain areas of Rowland Heights so I decided to a drive a bit further out to this location. I also asked for a side of extra thin sliced onions which I love to squeeze lemon juice on and eat raw.
