Food was super tough, no flavor. Service was quick and easy. Ambiance was OK, cleaner than most. What a sad disappointment. Please call the health department, the guy handed my chopsticks with his bare hands and didn't was his hands after making my drink. The drink tasted horrible as well. This place should be PhoNEVER again. The Taro drink has a tap water tasted to it. The Pho ( meat tasted like it was made yesterday and tougher than woodpecker lips ). If you look closely to the toppings (like the lime) ‍. I tried to squeeze it and almost nothing came out. I wouldn't recommend my dog to eat here. It's ran by kids that you can tell don't want to be there. Be very cautious if you do come here, follow Yelp reviews with more than 20 reviews. Came in here and the lady worker was a little rude. Asking what I needed almost as if I shouldn't have been there because she was in the middle of a conversation with the area's security, just sitting chit chatting. I was just looking to try out food and support a Vietnamese business. I was waiting for her to give me the bill for 20 minutes while she was speaking on the phone for personal reasons (it was on speaker lol) we made eye contact and I had my credit card in hand and she still continued to speak on the phone for 10 more minutes so that should tell you about what kind of service you'll be getting here.. Food was okay. I thought I'd be getting more than one spring roll for 5 dollars and the meat they used for it was cold, dry, and obviously fresh out of the refrigerator. The chicken pho was okay. We have been coming to this place for over 10 years. They switched ownership at some and it went downhill from there. Ordered take out today and the spring rolls were $5 each and 1/2 the size they used to be. The Mongolian beef plate was 1/2 full and whatever was in the plate, 1/2 of it was veg and onions so we barely got any beef. Sad to see a good place get ruined. read more

Meh, not impressed with the food and the service though. I know they are busy and only had two servers running around helping everyone. They never had time to checked in on us. We had to flag them down to get thier attention and have to asked them for things we needed. We could have ordered Some bubble tea but the servers were to busy . Ives had better pho somewhere else. I ordered the pork chop with an egg on top. Pork chop did not have the taste of being grilled but boiled with some sauce on top. I did not finished half of one pork chop. This dish was not very tasty, very bland. However, the appetizers were ok, my companion said the same thing with thier orders. It was our first and will be our last time there. I came in on a Thursday for brunch last week. The place was close and convenient, atmosphere was mid. But the food was so bad. How are there good reviews for this restaurant?  I will say the only good part about this restaurant is the friendly lady waitress. The service was quick and she was very attentive and checked up on me alot! I ordered the Brisket Pho, and the broth is bland??? Not sure to explain it. But it was TERRIBLE. Fresh spring rolls were good! Fried spring rolls tastes like old beef broth oil and so did the pho! Highly disappointed tonight! Unfortunately I picked up a to go order and could not bring it back this evening. So we shall see if I get refunded tomorrow! I've been coming here for Years (about 10yrs) and the last few times I've eaten here (in the last 2 yrs) I have been highly disappointed but tonight was the worst. Man! EVERYTIME I order through Uber eats I always get the WORST service in food from here. It's like they don't care since they don't have to see the customer. I didn't get one of my boba teas that I ordered and then the only pho I ordered was raw beef and they gave me PORK. I don't even eat pork! So there goes my dinner for the night . I can't even eat the noodles because the pork has been on it. The combination fried rice literally had 3 shrimp BURIED under the rice. This is my favorite pho place in Tacoma! Now to be fair, I am vegetarian so I can only speak to the veggie pho. But the veggie broth is so good and the veggies are fresh and tofu is fried well. They are always very friendly also and quick to make the food. Not sure why they're getting bad reviews but they are so tasty read more

When I still lived in Tacoma we would go here because it was open far later than most Pho and the quality was consistent. Years later on a visit back? Still exactly what I wanted. Brought my boy and a friend because I wanted them to have the good pho, did not disappoint. Good portions, reasonable prices, quick service, laid back atmosphere, clean enough and fast. I love that because it's right next to WinCo the parking is never a question, and even when it's full it's so spacious we've never had to wait for a seat. I recommend the spring rolls or the make your own spring rolls (which will have you laughing if you're as terrible at rolling them as I am), and of course all the Pho. Need to cheer up? Feeling under the weather? Need to celebrate? Tight budget date? Healing a broken heart? Pho heals all things when it's good, and this place is so tasty your soul heals a little by the end of the bowl. read more

I am speechless. I've been to many pho places in my existence but this experience was a brand new one. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt given the ratings and the proximity I was to the place. But wow! I will never come back here. Walking into Pho Ever it felt like your normal average pho place. The interior was interesting as there was marble tables combined with wooden tables side by side? Music and ambiance was fine. The workers were also nice! But wow, the food was shocking. This might possibly be the worst pho I've ever had. The amount of sheer oil that was in the broth was outstanding. The dish didn't even taste like pho at all. Because of the amount of oil in the actual broth it made the whole dish inedible. Drinking the broth was equivalent to drink vegetable oil. I tried scooping out the oil layer but couldn't because the whole broth was infused with it. I would've preferred anything compared to this. Adding the bean sprouts and lime did not even help displace the oily feeling but instead made it feel like a veggie oil remix. Even the flank had a shiny chroma to it (like fish scales). Usually I wouldn't mind but it had a green tint to it as well. This made me not want to eat either pho's meat ordered. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone. I'm genuinely shocked on how this is being sold and no one is talking about it. Maybe i got unlucky with the two different pho dishes. Either way I will be washing my face after this one. read more

Before the pandemic I am already a fan of Pho Ever. They open till really late at night, which is really good for someone like me who always craving for some hot soup at night time. Since right now it is the pandemic time, I always make a phone call and it would take 10-15 min for them to prepare. Just really quick pick up and go. I have to say that they are really thoughtful and pack food either in a box or paper bag that you would not even need to worry about leaking or anything. There's always enough parking in that area. When we got there we were the only ones there for dining in. There was another guy who was waiting on a to go order but we had the place to ourselves. My daughter and I waited just a few minutes before we were served menus and then even longer before our order being taken and getting water. She had the Pho and I order the Ramen. During that time man did the place get packed with people placing to go orders and dining in for dinner. Once we got our food which didn't take very long our server never came back to our table. No water refill, no checking on how our food was or the offer of to go containers. The food was decent. Not the best I've had but not the worst either. Could have been a little more flavorful considering we both order our meals spicy. They weren't. I had to go up to the counter to request our bill and containers. I'll probably go back just to give it another chance. I did like that they have plenty of meal options and hopefully the experience will be a little better. read more

This place was my favorite place to get pho in the Tacoma area. I used to come here every week pre-covid and haven't been there since January because I moved. Decided to stop in because I haven't had pho basically all year and was craving it really badly. I walked in and at first glance, it looks like they're taking all the right covid precautions. I tend to be very cautious with covid and so I asked if the chefs in the back were wearing masks (just to ease my senses) and the hostess assured me they were. At the same time, someone walked out from packaging food for one of the to-go orders, and I realized that she was not wearing a mask. I asked what was going on with her, and the hostess asked that person "Oh, you're not wearing a mask today?" Very nonchalantly. And then tried to cover it up by saying she just arrived at work. Needless to say, I immediately walked out of there extremely disappointed and will not be going back. I've noticed this trend of a lot of Tacoma-area places not following protocol making it really tough to support local businesses. The few that I found that are following protocol, I've continued to support. But I would advise everyone to double check compliance as you get food. read more

We've just got done eating pho here with the kids. I had the #15 and likewise with my son. The wife had the pot stickers and Chinese egg roll. It was delicious as always. The food was well prepare ,and we didn't have to wait too long for the foods. If you you like great customer service, good food, clean atmosphere to bring your friend or family...this is the place. The waitress are very friendly and hospitable. They are very accomondating , and work hard to ensure you had a good experience at the establishment. I don't work here, but my family and I have gone here ever since they first open. We've been to other place around Tacoma and Lakewood, and some come close. They're open for take out until 11:30pm and serve some great soup. The beef broth is flavorful but not too salty. The portion is huge (I ordered a regular size tofu pho w/beef broth). Plenty of carrots, bok choy, broccoli, and zucchini that was tender but Not over cooked -I really appreciate that! A decent amount of bean sprouts, mint, and jalapeños on the side -was missing the cilantro tho. Regardless, we will definitely order dinner from here again. Our daughter ordered clams and fries with no complaints. Pho was really nice so I definitely recommend that. read more
