i love this place!!! when i first moved here, one of the first places i looked for was a good pho spot. there are many good places in orlando, but this one is close to my commute route and it's open late!! it's in a sketchy part of town but i feel safe eating here. the restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. i especially love the drive thru option which you don't see at the other places. there are also a wide variety of bahn mi sandwiches which are equally awesome. and of course your full menu of boba and jelly teas--a refreshing relief in this florida heat. whether you eat in, to go or grab drive thru, you'll get an amazing meal with a smile. My first time here at this new restaurant. I was a bit disappointed in only getting two pieces of meat in my pho. But IMHO, the broth they use in their pho is the best in Orlando. Although I did not order a boba tea, their boba tea looked like a popular option based on what everyone else was ordering. The pork banh mi I tried was really good. Need to keep working on this one is you want the entire sandwich to be good. When packaging drive thru items you need a black marker to let us know which container Phở is DB special, which ones are regular , we had to open up each box to figure which one is which. The broth needs to be packaged in plastic bags otherwise in a car accidental can spill all over the customer's car. the Phở was not comforting, the broth is not flavorful it tastes like you used a lot of rock sugars or is it MSG? Missing the comfort feeling after you eat a good bowl of Phở. You'll need an outside chef who specializes in Phở to correct this broth recipe soon, otherwise it won't be a place where returning to or recommending . read more

We drove up to the restaurant on a Saturday night. There were three parties in here which initially didn't bode well for me. I almost left but had been wanting to try this place for months now. My daughter told me to just go in and try it. We walked in to the wonderful smell of home cooked pho. I ordered the #1 and #5 pho bowls. Self served my condiments at the bar and we both took our first sips of the broth. It was AMAZING!! You must come in and give this place a try! My food came out much later than my friends food. I had to ask if everything was okay. The person at the counter said they were really backed up. However, both her and the server came up to double checked I ordered. My food came out 15 minutes after my friends even though I ordered before her. I've been sitting on this review thinking if I should post it or not. I hate giving low scores but this warrants it. First off, service was adequate and friendly. Food was not. I ordered 2 pork banh mis for takeout. Both my husband and I had the same reaction. Bread was stale and kind of dense. We could not discern what protein we were eating. It had no seasoning and something in the banh mi had a weird aftertaste. The meat was gray. Had now color from the grill. The pickled garnish was barely pickled. Needed more acidity. The prices were high in comparison to better restaurants in the vimi district. There was nothing in the taste of that sandwich that said "Vietnamese". I wish they would spend less money on uber fancy menu boards, signs, etc. and more on the actual product. To the owner, taste your product and tell me if you are happy with it? read more

(7/25/2023) We've been several times since this place opened over by work. It's always chock full of multi-generational families, singlets, workaday people, tourists, and random other people. It's very much some kind of family-run type mom and pop place. The teenage son seems to be the only one who can translate English to Vietnamese. We do have some success with just saying the numbers of things we want (zero customization if you go this route). They are often out of things, I'm guessing that those things are so popular they run out? Other version goes that there is much lack of planning and they run out. Either way, have had to adjust menu expectations at every visit. No matter, everything I've gotten so far has been very, very tasty (even the egg banh mi when they ran out of meat). The pho can be taken to go and it's very well packaged to go, but I prefer to dine-in if I'm having the pho for the best piping hot broth and honestly, a larger portion. Be forewarned, if you get pho to-go with meat, the meat will be packaged raw (don't freak out if you're a newb or just a culturally ignorant person), since the boiling hot broth is what is cooks the meat. I have been here several times and I am never disappointed. Tonight I tried the #1 Pho, and grilled pork Bahn mi. Both were delicious. Pho was well seasoned and had very little MSG which didn't cause a reaction that I usually get when I eat at other Pho places. We're from Seattle and found a a great Pho reastaurant in Orlando, A+ for opening late, everywhere else closes early. Their combination pho was great and banh mi is one of the best I had so far. We came back the next day for some great pho and banh mi. The manager came to our table introduce himself and gave us complimentary cheese cake which is also great. As a vietnamese person I was hesitant to come here as it was a drive thru pho, don't let that fool you, there is plenty of seating, great food, and excellent service, we would definitely come back again. read more
