There are no Vietnamese restaurants where I live, so I was delighted to have dinner here while visiting my parents last week. I like the limited menu. They do one thing and they do it right! We started with the shrimp spring rolls... stuffed with HUGE shrimp and crispy veggies! It was a little hard to share because the rolls were large and the wrapper was quite springy. My dad had the brisket pho and I had the veggie pho with tofu (option to have it fried; I opted for plain). My mom had the tofu vermicelli bowl with fried tofu. The pho was EXCELLENT!! Delicious broth with lots of greenery and fresh toppings. A bowl of perfection! My mom and I took half of our meals home for lunch the next day. We ordered the "regular" size - an upgrade to "large" is available for $2 more and I cannot even imagine how gigantic that would have been. You will NOT go hungry here! First time at this Vietnamese restaurant in Prescott. The Bun was fantastic. Their PHO looked amazing as well. I will certainly try that next time. Quality and quantity of meat in the pho was excellent. Their homemade chili in the mason jar is SO GOOD! I want to buy a jar of that stuff. Service is great, so friendly, and quick. Decor is nice and pleasing. It's simple and comfortable. Plenty of parking in big strip mall. Honestly, I'd drive a little further and go to Vietnamese Pho Noodle Shop in Prescott. What a rare find in a predominantly white area of Arizona. BEST PHO I've had this year, which includes Viet heavy areas like Northern Virginia and Houston. Great family owned spot with transplants from Cali. The Pho broth has a homemade quality and you can taste the freshness and dedication they put into the broth. Flavorful, rich and utterly authentic. We had a large group of ladies come to the café to play bunco. I have to qualify that. I am not a huge soup fan however, I ordered the shrimp pho with extra veggies. The broth is delicious. Everything in the soup was fresh the shrimp or large and I think there were six or eight of them. The regular size bowl is enough for two people. I took home a second maybe even third serving service was quick and efficient. Some of the other ladies ordered the spring rolls which were large and looked delicious. This is an absolute must try for anybody in Prescott if they like Pho. I've been waiting for years for a good Pho place to open and it finally happened. The place isn't big, but there's adequate room for seating. The inside is brand new and very comfortable feeling. My only concern is that it is going to become so popular that you might have to wait for a table as soon as everybody finds out about this place. I've gone twice now for lunch. The first time I got the filet mignon Pho, and today I got the steak Pho. Both are equally fantastic. I can't see enough about the amazing flavors. The bowls are plenty big and packed with a lot more meat that I'm used to getting. The broth is so good that I drank every bit of it which I usually never do. Honestly, this is the best Pho that I have ever had and I told the owner that today. I also ordered their shrimp spring rolls one visit, which are absolutely amazing as well. The portions are pretty big for an average eater and the menu choices ranged from bahn mi sandwiches, various pho choices and even Vietnamese coffee. Friendly, mom and pop restaurant that serves the BEST Pho around. The soup base is a gorgeous conglomeration of spices and herbs that is full-flavored and very good, pure comfort food in a bowl. The meats are fresh, the noodles perfectly cooked. Others menu items include bahn mi sandwiches, a selection of spring roll appetizers, a stir fry of soup ingredients with soup on the side ("Dry Pho"), and vermicelli stir fries that are delicious. AND they serve great Vietnamese coffee, tea and boba drinks. The owner bends over backwards to accommodate all tastes, including for vegetarians. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean and austerely decorated with pretty photos of Vietnam and plants. We have been to eat there multiple times and always had delicious meals. The pho is extremely flavorful and the portions are huge (if you're thinking about getting the large size bowl, you better have the appetite of Garfield the Cat). The steak pho was perfect! The broth was very flavorful the beef was tender. I think it's the best pho I've had so far. They had some chile on the side to add and it was not very spicy but had the most amazing flavor, little bit lemongrass and other spices I could not identify. We decided to try this spot cause the spouse and I were running errands and I was having some tummy problems and soup sounded like the only thing tolerable and it totally soothed me. I've had a lot of pho over the years, including plenty of trips through Little Saigon in California, and Pho Cafe holds its own against any of it. The broth is rich and clearly simmered with care, the noodles are perfect, the veggies are always cooked perfectly, and the beef is always tender and fresh. Their menu continues to expand, and somehow the food just keeps getting better every time I come in -- I'm honestly not sure how they do it. We used to go searching for good pho every time we went back to California. Not anymore -- we've got pho right here in Prescott that meets it and beats it. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent too -- whether I'm grabbing it to go after a bowl of pho or just stopping in for a cup of that rich coffee on its own, it never disappoints. But it's the people at Pho Cafe that really make it special. Everyone is warm and genuinely kind, and the whole place has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back again and again.
