Sorry, I have to disagree with every review here... I went there for the first time last night and got Pad Thai and Sticky Rice w/mango for take out. I got it home and it was the worst Pad Thai I have ever eaten. There was nothing in it but noodles a couple of pieces of chicken and 3 shrimp. Nothing fresh to add texture, noodles were dreadfully dry and stuck together... I asked for ZERO spice... it was spicy! BIGGEST FAIL EVER! The sticky rice had good flavor BUT It was very unevenly cooked.. AGAIN, FAIL!!! $30 (included tip) was just insult to injury! If they weren't 10 miles away I would have went back for a refund. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting, service is outstanding, beyond friendly staff, fresh quality ingredients, preparation & presentation are impressive & did I mention the portions?? They delivered and my mum was happy (and she thinks green bell peppers are spicy) Even got 10% off for paying in cash. Can't wait to go here again an try more of the menu. Large black hair in takeout! Have been going to this restaurant for close to a decade and enjoyed its food. Last week my wife brought me home a takeout order. After I had been eating it for a while I noticed a very large long black hair in the food and I almost threw up! Disgusting. Why aren't the preparers wearing hair nets. This brings other sanitation issues up, what else are they not doing. Will never go here again, I advise you not to also. Also their pad thai is terrible, it used to be good, I think they just short change take out orders, it had a distinctly bad taste, maybe the fish sauce is spoiled! read more

This was my favorite place. I was there last night, and the food was not good. I always get the Thai Basil along with something different to try. The Thai basil was very different than in my past visits, it didn't look the same as before and it certainly didn't taste the same. I tried the Wonton soup and it was ok, but way too salty. Stopped in on a whim tonight and was very happy we did! My husband ordered the . PAD KEE MAO ( aka drunken noodles) and he proclaimed it to be the best he has had in the Prescott/PV area. Remember from past reviews he is a very picky eater. He ordered it with medium spice. Which was just right for us but we do prefer spicy food. I had the the Lard Nar and ordered with mild spice. I wish I had gone medium. I have no complaints about my dish but did prefer my husband's. The place is very clean. The staff is awesome. Very attentive and friendly. My husband and I are huge curry fans. I was blown away by the flavors in their red and panang curry. We shared a wonderful fresh shrimp roll and had more than enough food. I'm shocked they have a lunch special even on weekends. The service was the best we've had in a long time! My infant also loved their chicken and veggie soup, it was so hearty and flavorful. I'm going to think about this place every single time I plan a trip to Prescott. 100/10 thank you Thai Cafe for such an incredible lunch. Happily, there are several very good options for Thai food in the Prescott area, but Thai Cafe in Prescott Valley is THE best and worth the short drive from Prescott. Word to the wise: they give a 10% cash discount, so make sure you bring some! The food here is always great. We've tried many starters (gyozas are so good), entrees from curries (my personal favorites!) to noodle dishes and they have never disappointed. Spice level is always spot on. Small place with big food! Went to this place on a Saturday evening & it was pretty busy. I was immediately seated & just as quickly, a waiter came over to talk to me. I ordered the spicy seafood combo & was asked how spicy? Since I hadnt been here before I got a three. For me, it wasnt spicy at all, so the waiter brought over the pepper assortment, which was perfect. It was a huge bowl of shrimp, whitefish, scallops, calimari....all kinds of things & lots of tasty veggies as well. You also get a side bowl of rice. My husband and I visited friends in Prescott Arizona. They treated us to dinner at Thai Cafe. Our first time having Thai and it was excellent!! Can't say enough about the Thai Cafe, the food seemed very good and very authentic. The service was superb and the restaurant had a pleasant dining atmosphere. Our server Joseph was great, he had a few recommendations. We recommend the Thai Pad Noodle entree, we both love noodles, we found the sauce and noodles to be very tasty. We were in town for a few days and decided to try this place because the photos and reviews seemed promising, but didn't have too high of expectations since I've had authentic Thai food in my hometown. But walking into the restaurant, I got the sense that it was going to be good. We ordered Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew. The flavor was pretty close to what it should taste like, however the meat/chicken was under seasoned. For the price you pay, this is definitely worth it -- big portions and yummy! read more

With good texture with the onions and veggies. Yellow curry: savory and yummy. Among the best yellow curry I've had. I like that they had options of fried or plain tofu. I had to go for fried tofu of course. Wish the rice that came with it was a bit more. We ended up ordering another portion of rice. Plum wine: very sweet and tasty.
