Thai Cafe is great! We absolutely love the service here, and the food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently good. They're also quick with the orders, which we really appreciate. We always get the Tom Yum soup, gyoza, yellow curry, and Pad Kee Mao, and every single time, everything tastes just as good as the last. The quality and consistency are what keep us coming back! Highly recommend Thai Cafe -- great food, great service, and always a wonderful experience! read more

It's always fun to try a new Thai restaurant and the Thai Cafe was a good choice. When you first walk in from the hot and sunny outside, the interior is dark and cool and decorated in bright Thai colors, you just want to sit down and enjoy the air conditioning. I was quickly seated with a much appreciated ice water. They offer a selection of appetizers, salads, curries and favorites like Basil Chicken or Pad Thai. I decided to try the panang curry along with an order of crispy spring rolls. The order was fast and very good, the curry had the right amount of heat and the crispy spring rolls were flavorful. The server was attentive, the food was very good and this is a restaurant I'd be happy to visit again. read more

I Crave their green curry... it's amazing. I've had other dishes there too, very good food, but the curry is my favorite. Ambiance is ok. A little dark and dated. The place would do wonders with a little update to the furniture and decor. And their lunches attract a lot of people. Don't know if I'd ever dine in again in, a little too cramped for me. The other absent star is for the cashiers' poor attitudes. They hand you your to-go order- If you don't tip them, they drop all the niceties. They hand you the plastic bag so you can bag your own order. read more

We had take out delivered. Chicken pad Thai was a very generous portion with a good balance of meet to the slimmer noodles. Good flavor. The other meal we ordered was represented as a high protein meal- and it was. There was sufficient chicken for two full meals with cabbage and broccoli. read more

You really enjoyed the appetizer we chose and our entrees. The place was nicely decorated, super clean and I loved after that after the dinner rush was over, they took time to clean the condiment containers and don't see that very often... I like it when people take pride wherever they work. I WOULD RECOMMEND read more

Great food, great service, we had an appetizer, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Yellow Curry with Chicken. All very tasty. The one thing I would recommend is expand your wine and beer selections. read more

Soooo good! Got the vegetable yellow curry and chicken pad Thai. Both were incredible and we asked for absolutely zero spice. They delivered and my mum was happy (and she thinks green bell peppers are spicy) Even got 10% off for paying in cash. Can't wait to go here again an try more of the menu. Five stars wish I could give more! read more

Loved the shared appetizer and basil ?. Could have used a bit more basil, but we enjoyed the meal. Will visit again when we are in the area. read more

Sorry, I have to disagree with every review here... I went there for the first time last night and got Pad Thai and Sticky Rice w/mango for take out. I got it home and it was the worst Pad Thai I have ever eaten. There was nothing in it but noodles a couple of pieces of chicken and 3 shrimp. Nothing fresh to add texture, noodles were dreadfully dry and stuck together... I asked for ZERO spice... it was spicy! BIGGEST FAIL EVER! The sticky rice had good flavor BUT It was very unevenly cooked.. AGAIN, FAIL!!! $30 (included tip) was just insult to injury! If they weren't 10 miles away I would have went back for a refund. ZERO STARS!!!! read more

ABSOLUTE GEM!! If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I WOULD. My father- in-law & I love Thai food & Thai Cafe is the best we've had anywhere. It doesn't stop there. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting, service is outstanding, beyond friendly staff, fresh quality ingredients, preparation & presentation are impressive & did I mention the portions?? Enough food for 2 days of delicious leftovers. Lastly, you could say we're regulars there as everyone knows us when we come in lol. By far the most consistent restaurant I've ever frequented. 10 stars every time!!! read more

Service and staff are great. The food came quickly and was delicious. Very busy. Ambiance was better than most.

Great food. One of the best thai restaurants that we have tried. We used to go the thai restaurants in the north side of the Prescott and today is my first try. It was very good food. read more

This was the ABSOLUTE BEST Thai food I've had in many years!!! My daughter and I were only in town for a few days; otherwise we probably would have gone back again! We especially LOVE all the curries, so that's what we ordered, and everything was AMAZING!!! Everyone was friendly and helpful! Ambience was cozy, comfortable, and welcoming!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! read more

This was my favorite place. I was there last night, and the food was not good. I always get the Thai Basil along with something different to try. The Thai basil was very different than in my past visits, it didn't look the same as before and it certainly didn't taste the same. I tried the Wonton soup and it was ok, but way too salty. This is one of my favorite restaurants. I hope it was just an off night. read more

Stopped in on a whim tonight and was very happy we did! My husband ordered the . PAD KEE MAO ( aka drunken noodles) and he proclaimed it to be the best he has had in the Prescott/PV area. Remember from past reviews he is a very picky eater. He ordered it with medium spice. Which was just right for us but we do prefer spicy food. I had the the Lard Nar and ordered with mild spice. I wish I had gone medium. I have no complaints about my dish but did prefer my husband's. The place is very clean. The staff is awesome. Very attentive and friendly. We were definitely well taken care of and service was fast. We will return! read more

Decided to try this mom and pop restaurant and all I can say is wow the food was superb. It's a quaint little restaurant and the customer service was excellent. Amazing flavors and the staff is polite and efficient. We've never had to wait long for our food to be served. It also has pleasant surroundings and soft instrumental music. We visit often. Tonight we had Yellow Curry, Pad Thai and Beef Thai Basil. All were very delicious. read more

Went there for take out lunch today. They were absolutely slammed with a visiting group. Was advised my order would be a 30-35 minute wait which was understandable since the place was so busy! My order was ready in about 30 minutes and was perfect...the heat level was spot on! Will be back and recommend highly! read more

My husband and I are huge curry fans. I was blown away by the flavors in their red and panang curry. We shared a wonderful fresh shrimp roll and had more than enough food. I'm shocked they have a lunch special even on weekends. The service was the best we've had in a long time! My infant also loved their chicken and veggie soup, it was so hearty and flavorful. I'm going to think about this place every single time I plan a trip to Prescott. 100/10 thank you Thai Cafe for such an incredible lunch. Happily, there are several very good options for Thai food in the Prescott area, but Thai Cafe in Prescott Valley is THE best and worth the short drive from Prescott. Word to the wise: they give a 10% cash discount, so make sure you bring some! The food here is always great. We've tried many starters (gyozas are so good), entrees from curries (my personal favorites!) to noodle dishes and they have never disappointed. Spice level is always spot on. Service is pretty good and as for atmosphere, it's not bad, but that's not really what you're here for. You're here for the FOOD, and, trust me, you'll be back! :) read more

Portions are enormous, flavor was perfect. Next time we order one to split between my wife and I.

Large black hair in takeout! Have been going to this restaurant for close to a decade and enjoyed its food. Last week my wife brought me home a takeout order. After I had been eating it for a while I noticed a very large long black hair in the food and I almost threw up! Disgusting. Why aren't the preparers wearing hair nets. This brings other sanitation issues up, what else are they not doing. Will never go here again, I advise you not to also. Also their pad thai is terrible, it used to be good, I think they just short change take out orders, it had a distinctly bad taste, maybe the fish sauce is spoiled! read more

Heck yeah, the food is fresh and delicious. The portions are amazing for the price. The service was fast and attentive. The ambiaywas spot on, they had classical music playing which made it a perfect place for date night. Not many places offers military discount, but they did - we will be back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! read more

Small place with big food! Went to this place on a Saturday evening & it was pretty busy. I was immediately seated & just as quickly, a waiter came over to talk to me. I ordered the spicy seafood combo & was asked how spicy? Since I hadnt been here before I got a three. For me, it wasnt spicy at all, so the waiter brought over the pepper assortment, which was perfect. It was a huge bowl of shrimp, whitefish, scallops, calimari....all kinds of things & lots of tasty veggies as well. You also get a side bowl of rice. The flavor was really good, huge as it was, I polished off the whole thing. I will definitely be back for more... read more

I always get excellent food and service. The Thai food is excellent. When you pay cash you get 10 % off.

The food was very good! The place was clean and the service was good. The beef salad was so good I got a 3 for spice level and it was spicy! I love spicy but I was for sure cleaning my nose haha. The orange chicken was so good it was not too sweet and it was very crispy. I would lighten up the restaurant with more modern decor and lighting, but thats about all it could really need. read more

We've been fortunate to visit Thailand several times over the years, and every now and then, we get serious cravings for authentic Thai food -- especially the kind that brings real heat. We recently discovered the Thai Cafe, and it truly hit the spot. When ordering, I asked for my dish to be made very spicy (as we like it authentically hot!), but the lady who took my order kindly suggested that I try it one level below what I requested. She was absolutely right -- it was perfect! The flavors were vibrant, balanced, and genuinely reminiscent of what we've enjoyed in Thailand. The food, service, and attention to detail all exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back whenever those Thai food cravings strike again. Highly recommended! read more

We have been going to Thai Cafe for three years and always happy with it, however, our experience last night was not so. We ordered orange chicken and it was so bad we threw it out. It was like popcorn chicken and not even good pieces. It was terrible. We threw it out. So disappointed! read more
