don't believe all the negative's - though to be fair to the negative reviews I have not had the pho so won't comment on that. If you are going for something other than pho than I think you'll be happy. I eat here frequently with my family. Excellent service and I think the wait staff care whether or not you are having an enjoyable meal. They never rush you. I have not had a bad dish. Food seems fresh. Restaurant is clean. Our family loves Cafe Pho! The staff is always friendly and they get the food on the table right away. We love the variety of the menu and the cost of things are pretty reasonable. I go here almost regularly as tradition. Their servings are insanely generous, and it's rare that I'll finish a small. My boyfriend usually gets a medium and doesn't finish either. This restaurant serves breathtakingly good food. But the service can be much better. I went there with my family and we waited for about 30 minutes before someone finally came to take our order. The waiters are hard to understand and they get the order mixed up sometimes. But other than that, they have very good food, i would recommend the boba smoothies, the pork spring rolls, and of course, the pho! So 4/5 for the food, 2/5 for the service. read more

I don't know about authentic but I do know about delicious! They tell me it's authentic. I love it. The pho is perfect, tasty broth and serve piping hot. The grill beef plate is what my husband enjoys. Also love the spring rolls (not fried). The employees are nice and we visited with the owner who sat down and told us his story. Pho cafe is the best place to grab pho in the area. I've dined in and picked up for carryout several times and couldn't be happier. There lunch specials are very reasonably priced and their restaurant seats a ton of guests. If you're looking for good pho, check this place out for sure. read more

I've been going to this restaurant for a few years, but it must have gone under new ownership or something. Recent dine ins and order outs have been poor service. We sat down for 15-20 minutes and nobody came to give us water or take our orders at all while two of the wait staff were in front talking to each other the whole time. We got up to leave and nobody tried to stop or inquire with us at all. Unfortunately, this is the only pho restaurant close to Erie. read more

i love supporting new family run businesses in our lafayette neighborhood... this is a precious family and customer satisfaction is important to them... we shared a large pho with all the fun bits and a noodle bowl with all the meats and eggrolls with our two kids, 7 and 8 years old, and had no leftovers...everything was yummy...meats were very plentiful and generous in pho bowl...will definitely make this a regular place to visit! :0) read more

After waiting 15 minutes at lunch to even receive a menu, I ordered a #7 Pho. The Pho was terrible. I am used to the quality Pho places down on 120th in Broomfield and this place does not even come close to matching up. The services was even worse. I won't be going back. read more

This was the second time that we ate here, service was bad the first horrible the second. It deserves 2 stars because the food is actually good. I had the chicken pho, wife the shrimp w vegetables- both very tasty. Never had an actual waiter the second time- served by multiple people after we asked for water, tea, entrees and finally check, in that order. My first experience at this place was lacking alittle bit, I went in about a week after it opened and the food was ok but not too outstanding. About a month later I went back and tried it again and it had really improved a whole lot. Ordered my usual for a Pho lunch: shrimp spring rolls and rare steak pho. The spring rolls were huge. They were good but nothing special about them or the peanut sauce. The medium pho was also huge and filled with lots of steak and noodles. The broth was excellent but they didn't have any jalapeño and were skimpy on the greens. read more

Our family enjoys the pho here almost weekly, and on limited occasions, a noodle bowl or curry. Waitstaff is friendly and always remembers us (and our usual orders!) Food is fresh. Service is usually very good although occasionally on busy nights the kitchen gets overwhelmed. We are pleased to see the place busy though. An east county Asian gem hidden in an odd strip mall. This is my go to spot in Louisville/Lafayette for pho. It's good and has a vegetarian broth option which is a nice addition to the menu. I usually get the rare steak and add veggies. My husband, son and I visited Cafe Pho for the first time this evening as we wanted to try someplace new close to home. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and seated promptly. We ordered Vietnamese spring rolls (fabulous! made with lean beef and very fresh vegetables- excellent peanut sauce as well), sesame salad, hot and sour soup and rare beef and brisket pho. The food arrived quickly and was fresh and delicious! Cafe Pho is extremely clean with nice decor inside- it didn't feel like you were in a strip mall at all. While we were enjoying our food a few groups of customers arrived who greeted the staff excitedly by name-obviously regulars. I just wanted to let everyone know that the negative reviews on yelp gave me the wrong impression of Cafe Pho and almost made us not go but this restaurant was wonderful- we will definitely be going back regularly! read more

This place rocks. Their Pho is fantastic the medium is huge! I also like their Lemongrass Chicken, Chicken & Vegetables/Cashew nuts, Spicy Beef & Basil. Green Curry is good too. I would've normally ordered Pho to check this place out, but I was getting takeout so I ordered the egg rolls and pad Thai (recommended by person taking order). The egg rolls were solid, but the menu said you get 4 for $8. When I opened up my food there was 2 pretty small egg rolls cut into 3 our l little pieces each. I called to make sure they hadn't shouted me I was told they had changed to 2 a few years ago with no correction on the menu. The pad Thai was decent, but had a lot of bell pepper in it which I have never had. Overall I would say the food is mediocre and overpriced. read more

I would give this place a 3, but would come back for something different on the menu since it's close to my work. I tried the Tai Chin (rare steak and brisket) Pho (medium size) and I think why it's a 3 and not a 4 or 5 was mainly due to the flavor not being as robust as I'm used to at other Pho shops. the broth should be very delicious and marinade the rest of the soup but mine was a little light on flavor and watery so I had to doctor it up a bit to really taste something. also, my dish was supposed to come with rare steak AND brisket but in eating it, the steak was already cooked (medium) and I couldn't tell the difference between the two, I kept searching for the brisket. the freshness of the basil, veggies could also be the reason it wasn't to par, they looked a little old including the lime (it was hard). also, for a size medium it could've used more noodle, it was kind of light. however the staff was attentive and service was fast. read more

Upon my first time at pho cafe I give it a 5 star rating for having good quality asian food, friendly family style service and nice atmosphere. I don't claim to be an expert on pho like some here but I have had my share of asian cuisine in NYC, Japan and Taiwan. I found the quality to be fresh prepared, delicate flavors (excellent egg rolls and calimari) and enjoyed the fact that it is family run and they sometimes cross over asking you how things are. I for one really enjoyed my entire experience there and except for pho snobs highly recommend it. It is nice to see some diversity coming into this area and i really find the humble nature of these people really refreshing unlike that of the republic of Boulder. read more

Well- the reviews on here are pretty critical for what I have to say- Denver included- is definitely decent. We like it. For authenticity's sake- try the vietnamese egg rolls...they are awesome. The iced coffee- also really good. We go over here for the boba as well- which to my knowledge isn't offered elsewhere in Lafayette. I am a big fan of pho- and I have no complaints. By far best sandwiches we have found in Boulder & surrounding areas. They even special make a vegetarian version for us and it is delicious and fresh every time. You can not beat the prices. I don't do pho much. No problem, they have many Asian items: Thai coconut curries, Chinese and Vietnamese stir fry, Vietnamese grill, vermicelli bowls, etc. Excellent Viet fried egg roll. Our family loves this restaurant. We all get the pho. (Chicken, beef, and vegetarian tofu.) Portions are very generous and everything is delicious. We have tried all the appetizers and they are deilicious! It's hard narrowing down appetizer choices. :) The waitresses are very friendly and professional. I absolutely love the atmosphere. I enjoyed the food very much. This was my first time eating pho and I would certainly go back for another bowl. I ordered the small pho combo bowl which has flank steak, meatball, tendon, and tripe, which are all nicely sliced in the bowl. The portions are very generous and a small was plenty for lunch. Upon ordering, the waitress asked me if I did, indeed, want tendon and tripe. This being my first time, I appreciated the concern since these might not appeal to many people's taste. I just wanted to get a taste of everything. In addition to my pho bowl, which was served at a perfect eating temperature, I was also served a plate with fresh bean sprouts, lime pieces, jalapenos slices, and large sprig of fresh Thai basil. Soy sauce and chili paste were on the table. I put a little of everything in my bowl and enjoyed it very much. The vegetables and noodles were both cooked to a perfect tenderness and the broth had a nice flavor too. My wife ordered the vermicelli bowl with chicken and it was served with a small bowl of fish sauce which had a great flavor. I had some fish sauce in my pho bowl too. I liked the fish sauce the most but my wife did not like it. The waitress offered her peanut sauce instead which tasted good as well and accompanied the vermicelli very well. We enjoyed our meal very much. The decor isn't much to look at and the layout of the tables could use a redesign, but it's not that distracting. The service was very pleasant and accommodating as I mentioned above. Overall it was a very good experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more
