I've probably been here more than my fingers can count. The customer service is always great considering how often my family and I come. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is delicious! I often get the vermicelli with the fried spring roll and meat - very tasty and filling! The spring rolls are also delicious - however the wrap was a bit dry (at the edges), but still good! The peanut sauce is my fav! Probably going to come in again this week haha!

Outdated review, since we haven't eaten here in about a year. Food is pretty decent here, though definitely not the best Vietnamese I've had. I'm personally not a fan of their beef pho. I found it bland and wouldn't order it again. None of my friends who ordered pho seemed to be excited. On a return visit, I did find myself loving the grilled pork vermicelli bowl, which was huge and filled with juicy, perfectly grilled pork. My husband got some kind of lemongrass specialty soup that he also loved. Would definitely recommend that over the pho. We also enjoyed the house special wings, which were crispy and flavorful. So overall, the food is hit or miss. The atmosphere is surprisingly nice for a Vietnamese restaurant, and it's a place I wouldn't mind bringing a date if I were single. Prices are fine. The location is right in the center of Malden. We might be back in the future for bun, but for now, it's not our first choice for Vietnamese in town.

I ordered delivery and I ordered spring rolls and smoothies. Instead of the five dollar smoothies, they gave me a can of Coke. Refused to refund. On top of that my spring rolls came burst open and impossible to eat. They literally stole my money and made no effort to make it OK. Will not be ordering from them ever again.

Visited this place off the recommendation of a close friend who used to live in the area. The interior vibe of this place was unlike the typical Vietnamese restaurants back home in NYC. I loved the open glass doors that this place had that let in so much natural sunlight. Our friend told us that this place was hands down the best pho he's ever had by far. Wow this place lived up to that expectation. I don't know why this place isn't rated higher. It really has some aromatic and flavorful pho. I don't know if I could definitely say that it's the best pho ever for me but it's a really darn good pho. We also tried their Vietnamese crepe which our friend has seen on TikTok and it was surprisingly very pleasant and crispy. The sauce it came with was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this to visitors or locals. It's amazing pho.

" I'd like to offer some feedback about my recent dining experience. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue specialty. Expecting it to look like the photo on the menu. However, the soup I received was quite different. I also ordered the shrimp salad and was surprised to find it consisted only cabbage and shrimp. While fresh it lacked variety and additional ingredients that might enhance the flavor Such as herbs or different vegetables. I understand that price increase, but the $20 price for the soup, compared to the $10 it was a few years ago, felt high given the portion and what was served. Finally, I noticed the restaurant's cleanliness could be improved. The walls and floors appealed dirty, and dusty, which distracted from overall dining experience. Based on this visit, I'm hesitant to return, but I hope this feedback is helpful."

We got pho bistro for pick up for our dinner wnd we got the pho dac biet, grilled pork over vermicelli noodles and fried spring rolls. The spring rolls were very crispy and the sauce it came with had a nice kick to it. The grilled pork was super tender and the vermicelli noodles had a good chew to it. The pho dac biet had very tender meet as well and the broth was very rich. This is a great place to visit for some classic pho!!

This place used to be stellar. Came in today, and there is an apparent fly infestation that they refuse to deal with. Had to swat flies away from my food, and counted at least 15 on the wall next to me. Could not finish my meal due to them LANDING ON MY FOOD! I asked about this and was told "there's nothing we can do, it's a new season". This is unsanitary, disgusting, and unacceptable.

    60. Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet/Hue special soup
    Marni M.

First time trying this place. I ordered their bun bo hue in a regular size which had bean sprouts, basil and lime wedges on the side. The broth had a strong lemongrass flavor and was slightly more viscous than others, which I loved. However, service was very slow and inconsistent. Prices were also expensive considering the portions we received did not match up. If it weren't for the service and cost it would have been an easy 5 stars. Probably will make my way back.

There's almost always table available walk-in so it's a nice casual spot to get a quick lunch. We like the shrimp salad a lot - big portion and very flavorful. The pho is a nice dish to get on a cold winter day and they have a wide variety of meat combo for pho. We also recommend the fresh lime drink - a great refreshing drink to start the meal!

Pho Ga at Pho Bistro in Malden MA

Stopped in for lunch on a hot day and when it's hot, what do you want? A huge bowl of soup. Yep, that's me. I just really like Pho Ga, the Vietnamese version of chicken noodle soup. Pho Bistro's was delicious with a rich broth, plenty of chicken (not sliced, this was pieces of pulled from the bone) and a good knot of noodles in the bottom. It comes with the usual fixings including plenty of bean sprouts and a big spring of basil. Sriracha and hoisin on the table. Very nice for lunch.

Came to this restaurant with my husband to try their famous Pho. I ordered a Vietnamese pancake.. it was very delicious. I like this pancake particularly because it was not greasy at all. My husband said he does not feel guilty after He ate it as his appetizer. Order their. I ordered their full broken rice plate. It came with all their goodness. Again, it was not disappointing. My husband tried the Pho. He loveee it.

    Wonton Soup with Egg Noodles
    Malica S.

When I'm craving pho or anything soupy, the best place to go to is Pho Bistro. The service here is really great. What I love most about this place is that even though it is busy you never really have to wait to be seated. You also get your food super quickly. I normally order pho or bun bo hue (a favorite) here, but I opted for some wonton soup with egg noodles. The broth was perfect for me. Not too salty or bland. I love the garnishes that was already placed in for me. I didn't really need to add anything else even when they gave me the usual mints and bean sprouts on the side. Now I'm usually picky with my wontons because some places over cook their wonton causing the wrap to be super soggy but my wonton was perfectly intact. I might have to order this again because it was just way too good. And not to mention the broth was hot and I don't like it when my broth is warm because it just doesn't taste as good when it's like that. Parking: street parking, garage parking (few mins away), and public parking. Price: $$ For two people I usually spend less than $20.

Flavor was good and it satisfies! Egg rolls - $1.25 each. They are small but pack great crisp and the filling is tasty. Get 4 or 5. Rice roll plate - Not sure of the price but appears to be good portions and comes with one egg roll and it has some cold cut style meats. Includes fish sauce and you can ask for it to be spicy and they give you the spiciest (but so good) red chilies! 4 banh mi's, 5 egg rolls and the rice roll plate was $45.xx. Most of the Vietnamese restaurants in the Boston/Greater Boston area are typically older. But now the question is, is the food actually worth the higher price tag? I would say yes! Service is on the slow side but food was surprisingly quite all right. These are the dishes we ordered today: - cha gio/fried egg rolls - Banh khot/ crispy shrimp cakes - limeade (x2) - pho tai bo vien / pho with eye round steak + meatballs - grilled beef rice plate - an order of nem nuong on the side Thoughts: Food took a minute to arrive to our table. I'd say it was roughly 20ish minutes. It seemed like their cha gio/fried eggrolls were freshly made to order? They were not greasy and stale like they normally are when ordered at a restaurant (premade). I really liked the egg rolls from here, though it had more wood sear mushroom + vermicelli noodles in it rather than meat for filling. It came with lots of veggies, which I appreciate! Banh khot/crispy shrimp cakes were fire! This dish isn't readily available at most other restaurants so we definitely had to get them to try. They used whole shrimp and I thought that the portion size was great. Normally they are much smaller & use smaller shrimp (at least the ones I've tried at other spots). Great flavor & tasted delish. ***We ended up asking for some fish sauce with peppers, we felt like the nuoc mam they gave us was missing something. Fish sauce w/ peppers was much better! Highly recommend asking for this. *** Limeade: For me, it tasted like lemonade. Sweeter than usual. Not the best. The pho tai bo vien was not bad. The broth is on the lighter side. I was expecting the eye round steak to be the thin, round cut of beef but they actually gave thicker cuts of beef. I enjoyed it & dipped with a mixture of hoisin + sriracha. The grilled beef rice plate was great. Our server suggested to get the beef over the pork rice plate, which we were skeptical at first. From our experience, we avoid ordering grilled beef because it is always made too dry so pork is often the better option. The grilled beef was not dry here & we gave it a thumbs up. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at An Nam. The restaurant is super clean, aesthetically pleasing interior, and fresh + delicious food. Can't ask for more honestly. Would like to see the service improve & it'd be nice if the food could be made a bit quicker but we were pleased with the quality overall... so can't complain haha.

Good for business lunch, family dinners etc. Their presentations are clean, good color with the veggies. pricing was a bit higher than expected but that's subjective. We ordered the following: + com thit nuong bo Rice plate with grilled beef. It was actually very filling, good thicker cuts of beef. Yes grilled medium to well done but not super dry like a lot of other places. At the other spots i typically get marinated pork instead of the beef. Good portion of protein, tender for the style of beef and the cook. Comes with rice and veg. I asked for nuoc mam (fish sauce with chili) The Nuoc Mam that comes standard caters for the demographic probably. I like mine with chili's and garlic etc. + Pho Tao Bo Vien. pho noodle soup with round eye beef and beef meatballs. Broth was a bit light in depth probably just needed more time to steep the flavor. Actual cuts of beef that wasn't just a super thin cuts from most others. Good portion which compensated for the price. + crispy shrimp cake Banh Khot i enjoyed this because they use a larger mold for it, giving bigger cakes with FULL size shrimp on each one and not baby shrimp like the ones you find typically. Nice light crisp, flavor was good, dunk em in the fish sauce and YUM. + cha gio eggrolls - enjoyable i personally prefer a more pork ratio to the woods ear vermicelli/veg mix. However still a good egg roll, crispy outside, tasted freshly made, not sitting in a pan all day and heated up making them soggy or extra oily. Not my favorite though. + Thit nem nuong Viet pork sausage, not over grilled, moist and just a nice addition on the side. + 2x limeades. This is typically my goto drink at any Viet establishment since I was a kid. This one I had was a bit more on the sweeter side with a more tart after-note from the lime. Not bad though. Pleasant surprise before our paint & sip event!

The restaurant is one of the more modern decorated Vietnamese restaurants compared to traditional mom and pop's Vietnamese restaurants that I am used to. It was very good! This is a must! Sadly, they didn't have the betel leaves beef/pork skewer. I will have to come back another time. For entree, I ordered pho while my husband ordered the bun cha Ha Noi, and my kids shared the rice plate with pork chop and fried egg. My pho broth was very clear, and very light in flavor. It was very reminiscent of how my mother would make her pho, very subtle flavors and with wide pho rice noodles. Long's pho I would say is more akin to Northern Vietnamese pho so if you're looking for more salty and fragrant pho, this might not be for you. I love additional pickled vinegar garlic slices that are available at each table as well. I have never seen this at any Vietnamese restaurant in MA. The bun cha Ha Noi, the was good, but I would try something other next time. The rice plate we ordered had pork chops, fried eggs, and what was supposed to be pork skin, however, the pork skin was not up to standard so the owner replaced it with grilled chicken for us. Pork chops were a little over cooked. They are still very new. I think playing some music will help with the kitchen banter. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out at a very good pace.
