All the dishes were flavorful and delicious. The only issue that I had was there were only 2 people working in the entire restaurant and we waited for a while for our food to come out. We were only 1 of 2 customers in their restaurant. This reminded me of my parents when they ran their restaurant by themselves, but they were a lot faster. I also got charged for a Combination Pho when I only got steak and brisket. The guy who was the cashier/cook/waiter, apologized and told me he forgot my meatballs, but still charged me a Combination. They didn't even have tendon or tripe, and when I asked, he said they give it by request. If that is the case, that is not a Combination Pho and I shouldn't have gotten charged for that. Pho broth was clean and made very well. My large didn't have that much rice noodles so I felt I got a little ripped off. My son had a medium and he had the same amount of noodles that I had. It more seemed to be if you want more broth vs the portions being bigger. Otherwise, the food was flavorful and delicious. If they can speed up their service and if someone ordered the Combination Pho and they actually gave them what they ordered, then I think this place would go places. The staff are friendly. Service is slow. They have a lot of tables to dine on. Their parking lot is super small, but it wasn't busy so I don't think you have that issue.

Hands down it's the absolute BEST king cake I've ever tasted and trust me, I've tasted dozens. So, when I found out they were going to have mini king cakes for 4th of July, I had to get one. Made it there about 7:30 am, line was wrapped. By the time they opened at 8, they had already given out all available tickets. These are high demand. This time, the crawfish pies were just coming out so I tried one of those. The dough was a bit sweet but flaky. Inside.. was interesting. There was crawfish of course and there was a vegetable, I can't make out which one. The pie was a different flavor than I'm used to. Sweet and Savory and I tasted like there was a bit of Italian dressing or something in it. I'll try a meat one next time.

The moment we stepped inside the bakery, we were greeted right away. Staff were fast and friendly. Staff help assorted us with any questions we had. Bought some foods to try. I tried the cold cut banh mi. It was good. Bread was crispy and lots of filling. Bought some taro, white bean, black bean, corn desserts (Che) and jelly to try. All were delicious especially on a hot day. Bought some pastries which were limited at the end of the day. Got some chaud pork with onion, crawfish pie, meat pie, baked bao which all had great pastry taste, but the filling wasn't the greatest for me I guess. So, I did come back another day and got some pate chaud with bbq pork. Now that was delicious to my taste buds! I tried the green combo bánh bao and that was delicious as well!

From the moment you walk in, it's cozy, welcoming, and full of character. There's literally a wall of awards, Gambit's Best Of, Yelp awards, and even "WHEREY'AT" recognition. They've earned every one of them, because Lilly's lives up to the hype! I ordered: * Matcha Milk Tea - 10/10. Creamy, flavorful, and now has a chokehold on me. I'm coming back just for this! * Grilled Chicken Rolls (appetizer) - 10/10. Fresh, tasty, and perfectly wrapped. * Spicy Tofu with Rice & Veggies - 7/10. The flavor great, but was a little salty and wasn't hot at all. * My friend had the Spicy Shrimp Pho - 10/10 After our meal, we stepped outside to take a few pics and Lilly came out to greet us. She was so sweet and just genuinely grateful. She shared how blessed she feels to run Lilly's and that energy made the experience even better. Fast service, flavorful food, and unmatched hospitality. I'll absolutely be back.

That was so kind, and it moved me. Many "social" experiences feel so impersonal and isolated now; and I've always felt that making, eating, and sharing food should not feel that way, and, at Beignets & More, walking into the space feels humanizing, like you've been welcomed to a family meal, even if you're on your own. My friend and I both had pots of green tea and ordered pho, which came out within 10 minutes. I have wheat/gluten allergies and confirmed that the pho here is gluten free. The brisket pho was great, and I'll definitely come back to try the chicken, rare steak, and veggie--or to get a big container of their terrific broth to go when I'm feeling a cold coming on. (I'm sure other menu items are worth trying too!) Both the son and his dad came around during our meal to gently ask "everything is good?" I'll be here often as long as I live in New Orleans. -- Bonuses: In the table caddy with hoisin sauce, sriracha, napkins, and spoons, there are also real chopsticks to use--not the wooden, to-go ones many restaurants offer even when you're dining in. Parking at the strip mall is easy.

My first visit I enjoyed a Vietnamese iced coffee (espresso and condensed milk) and beignets, which were so delicious. You have a choice of three regular beignets that are huge, or nine mini beignets that remind me of funnel cake! I have returned for another cup of coffee and well as their chargrilled shrimp Vietnamese poboy and rare round eye or eye round pho. The poboy is absolutely wonderful and the pho was delicious. This will be my go to at times when I wanted a shrimp poboy, great substitute for the fried ones. You can dine in or take out. The owners are so nice and definitely know their regulars. The restaurant sets off cute date or special event night vibes with its trendy, inviting atmosphere. I love how the bar and main dining area are separated- you can either dine at the tables or go next door to hang out for drinks. We stopped by for a late lunch and were greeted warmly by our sweet waitress Mikayla. She was very helpful and patient with any questions we had with items on the menu. Service was stellar A+++ !!! Now onto the incredible FOOD: Bo Ne - filet mignon steak cubes & eggs (10/10): When an entree comes out sizzling & the aroma wakes you up- you know it has to be AMAZINGLY FLAVORFUL & FANTASTIC! Spread the butter & pate on the toasted bread, then use it to soak up all the INCREDIBLE flavor explosion from the sizzling steak & eggs!!! *VOILA chef's kiss* (side note: I grew up in Houston & had Bo Ne fairly regularly & I honestly think Ba Chi elevates this dish to another realm!!!) Curry clams & fries (10/10): I was worried I wouldn't like it because I wanted mussels, which were unavailable. To my surprise, this dish was another great hit !!! The yellow curry flavors were unique - a bit of heat & spice but not overwhelming. Next time, I would ask for the fries to be served on the side so that they stay crispy! We really wanted to slurp down a gallon of the curry- it really was THAT good! Pro tip: get a side of vermicelli noodles (or rice), mix it with the leftover curry & proceed to gobble it all up if you have room left in your tummy! Spicy lemongrass chicken wings (8/10): These were good-sized wings that packed a little punch with the spice! We enjoyed the spicy lemongrass flavor of the crispy wings (be aware that not everyone has a palate for lemongrass- they have other flavors available for those less adventurous eaters). DRINK: Dragon Slay-Her: what a gorgeous & beautiful drink - the dragon fruit margarita was a specialty cocktail I've never had before and I LOVED IT !!! (10/10) Their espresso martini with ube foam is another popular cocktail & I look forward to trying it on my next visit! TL; DR: If you're wanting to FIRE UP and add some PIZAZZ & all that jazz to your fabulous foodie life, then make lunch/dinner/drink plans for Ba Chi! You'll have the best dining experience there with quality food and top notch service! We LOVEDDD & enjoyed our dining experience today!
