I am so lucky. I now have a soup kitchen close to my house, but they also have excellent food. It is a brand new business. It may take a minute to work out all the kinks, but their food receives no complaints from the diner. It is a comfortable environment. I love the paintings on the wall. They are set up for Karaoke. It looks like they would have a lot of fun. You'll have to check with them as to when this singing commences. Give Pho Bamboo a chance. I was going to give it 5 stars because of the staff and taste. The food was delicious. Before leaving I ordered a Thai tea and the cup they put it in kept leaking around the lid, even after I drank half of it. The orange tea would just get all over my hands and I wanted to go shopping. I ended up throwing it away because I couldn't keep wiping my hands clean. Lastly I visited the bathroom and there were no paper towels at all and I had to dry my hands with toilet paper. Suggestion: get a cup sealer so that drinks don't leak and we can puncture the top with a straw. You know what Boba tea cups are. read more

Pho Bamboo 10/10. I'd recommend getting extra meatball as theirs is yummy and juicy. If you enjoy Thai tea this is good place to get it, also note they have tapioca which is a first for me in this area. (As a restaurant not a Boba shop) that's a double bonus for the customers. Looked this place up saw the good reviews and decided to give them a shot. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls , took a bite and notice the shrimp was not deveined. Asked the server if they could make me another one since the shrimp was not deveined and she says "that's just how it comes" i looked at my wife in disbelief and she explains to the server that this is shrimp poop and we can't eat that so can we get another one and the server says "I'll have to see". I've been here twice since they've been under new management again. I had their Bun Bo Hue the first time. I thought it lacked of flavor and the portion is small. I came back a second time and ordered Bun Bo Xao. All I could taste was oyster sauce on the meat. That's 2 dishes I did not care for and will not order again. To start off, we were told we could not be seated to the 8 open tables available because they were out of menus. So we awkwardly stood there while we waited for other customers to finish ordering. We ended up ordering a Combination Pho and Lemongrass Spare Ribs. With our pho, we got the smallest plate of bean sprouts with one stem of basil (the smallest amount I have ever gotten from any Vietnamese restaurant). Both of the dishes were mediocre and the prices weren't great. The sweetness of the pho broth was really overpowering. When we received our check we noticed an extra charge on there. We were told that it was because the meal we ordered was more than what was printed on the menu. I would not recommend anyone to come to Bamboo Pho, you'll just be wasting your money. Really liked my food and the service!! Everything was great and server was attentive.

Our waitress made us a little uncomfortable because she would awkwardly stare at us. It made us nervous looking over the menu. She also had one air pod in which we didn't find professional. I can only imagine what would happen if the air pod fell into someone's food. We ordered bun bo hue which was very mediocre - nothing special about it. I wasn't asked if I wanted the extra sides that came with it such as chili oil and shrimp paste because she didn't really come check on us. Our waitress only came back when we were finished with our food. My boyfriend ordered com thit nuong and he wasn't impressed. It was the most plain plate we'd ever seen. The meat lacked flavor and a little bit of char that makes com thit nuong exactly that. It wasn't served with nuoc mam either. We don't think the food was worth the price we paid for everything. Overall, I think this place is just okay. I probably won't be back anytime soon. read more
