I can here for a dinner pitstop during a road trip and was pleasantly surprised by the Bun Bo Hue (BBH)! I came with a large group and they were able to seat us immediately. It smelled like a typical Vietnamese restaurant, but with a more rustic look. I liked the wooden interior of the restaurant, which made it feel very homey. I got the BBH Vietnamese style (with the pig's feet and blood cubes). They also offer an "American style" for those who are not as accustomed to the traditional BBH fix-ins. The bowl was huge so you are definitely getting a bang for your buck here and the broth was super flavorful and spicy. Out of all my friends who got noodle dishes mine was definitely the best. Also, they do not skimp on the meat here! I loved the generous amount of brisket in my bowl. They also had the shredded red cabbage and lime on the side, and I requested a side of chili oil as well which I'd recommend to all my spice lovers. (8.8/10) The service was fast and efficient even for a large party. The only reason I gave this place a 4/5 was because the other dishes that I tried with my friends were not on par with the BBH. I thought the pho broth was lighter than I liked and the grilled chicken for the grilled chicken and rice was very bland. Pho Four Seasons hit the spot for lunch for sure. Coming from Houston's big Vietnamese community, my expectations for Viet food are pretty high. Pho Four Seasons is probably the best Vietnamese restaurant in Beaumont. Coming during a lunch break, their service is very fast. The ambiance is very casual, with lots of wood fixtures throughout. What seems like a family establishment, you can hear the hustle going on in the kitchen with Vietnamese mixed in. Food wise, I had their chargrilled pork banh mi and shrimp garlic noodles. The sign of a good banh mi is their bread. This bread was perfectly toasted, crusty, good crunch when you bit into it, but didn't tear the roof of your mouth up. Paired with their grilled pork, jalapeno, cilantro, pickled carrots, Maggi, and lots of butter, this was a solid banh mi. The shrimp garlic noodles are apparently a newer item on the menu. It came out piping hot, topped with 7 shrimp, and you could smell the mixture of butter, fish sauce, and lots of garlic. While extremely tasty, don't eat these garlicky noodles on a first date haha. Overall, Pho Four Seasons satisfied my vietnamese lunch craving. I would definitely come back here again next time I'm in the Beaumont area. Enjoy! read more

Went out of my way to come here based on the Yelp reviews. Parking was tight but I found a spot. When I entered the place smell like cleaning product. Not the best smell to welcome you to a restaurant. The place is super clean and the smell is the spray the use to clean the tables. Service was attentive and quick. I ordered pho tai. I was disappointed when they served it as the beef slices were already cooked. They also only provided a small amount of sprouts. The basil was fresh but the tiny slice of lime was noticeably dried out. Three slices of slight dried out jalapeño. Soup broth looked and tasted watery and I wondered if they used bouillon instead of making a true beef broth. Beef was tough, white onion in soup was good. Green onion and cilantro didn't have much flavor. Noodles were in a big clump on the bottom. I have had much better pho and usually a bowl fills me up. read more

This place here was a halfway mark to the golden nugget and l'baurge casino, so a lot of people seem to go here. This is where my friend stopped since she was taking me to said casinos. We sat down, and the table was sticky. It was just very old looking and hot. Perhaps the a/c was broken. The servers were really nice, but this place just didn't do it for me. The bag was skimpy so I questioned the four pounds and corn and potato. For $35.64 this was a gap for nasty food Friday my Crawfish were excellent. The Shrimp Spring rolls are the best that I have had in town. They are courteous and it's very clean.

So my search for Bun Bo Hue : Spicy Beef Noodle Soup took me here for lunch. The broth is was bland and in a sweeter side. The broth should be a balance of spicy, salty, and umami flavors. The predominant flavor is that of lemongrass and I tasted none. I try adding some fish sauce and it was still too bland and broth was very greasy. My BBH came with only cubed briskets, two pieces of cube congealed pig blood and a piece of pork hocks. Before I placed my order I asked if the broth is spicy, my waiter reply was that some people thinks it's spicy but he doesn't feel like it's spicy so he offer to bring out some chili oil to add but he never did when my food came out. I usually finish my food regardless if it's good or bad and I literally try to finish it and I can't even do it. I was glad I ordered a side of charbroiled shrimp and pork spring rolls to go. The pork has more taste of lemongrass then the BBH! It was ok, I prefer the original spring roll of boil shrimp and pork better. After visiting this place about 4 times over the span of one year I think it's about time for a review of this place. Why over such a long time you ask? Because usually businesses can change how they operate during different span of times and this can be labeled as a consistent one. Parking is plenty but a little dark at night times. The area looks a little dilapidated but it functions well on what it's for, just be vigilant. Personnel, always helpful and nice, always. Usually run by people in what seems their 20'ish I would assume they are either the owner's kids or equilivant but that does not make anything here less than what it is or deserves. The Pho' is flavorful and plenty, the $9 pork and rice plate is an excellent combination, the drinks are always filled when needed, the spring rolls are good, have a good presentation and a tad larger than normal side but the sauce needs to be presented with the hit peppered chili sauce in the middle like traditionally done in most restaurants. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent, even though it'll wake you up and knock you back out because they put a little more than usual (strong hickory x'2 is a recipe for a knock down) is still a good drink. Come here for dinner time if you want a quiet place where you can sit here and talk till they are closing for the business day, the interior has an ambience that invites you to relaxation without the attribute of everyday rush hour life.
