One of my favorite comfort foods is bún thịt nướng, or a Vietnamese bun bowl. Growing up, I had a lot of Vietnamese friends and this dish brings back so many memories. With that being said, I'm always of the hunt for a good bun bowl. There haven't been many options for Vietnamese food in the Savannah area, but I do believe that's slowly changing. Pho & Mi is the closest to where I live, and I've been waiting to give a try. Located on the same area as Publix and other shops that are in that area, this place feels just like the restaurants I would frequent back in Boston. The menu items are a lot more expensive for what you get, but it was worth it (to me). I ordered the summer rolls and a bun bowl. The spring roll could have been better, the shrimp tasted a bit too much like seawater (I know that unavoidable sometimes), but I still ate the whole appetizer, so i must have either really missed a good spring roll or was hungry, lol. The bun bowl was amazing! The past few times I've tried to order one (once in Duluth, GA and once in Cyprus), the pork didn't taste the way it should. That's not the case here! The pork tastes fresh and was cooked perfectly! The only thing is that I wish they had the different bun bowl options, not just one offering. This menu is very pho and other soup heavy. Please expand your menu for other Vietnamese favorites!!! I can't wait to go back and try the crepe, that's always another favorite of mine. Amazing addition to the area! read more

I stopped to charge my Tesla and was planning to get my dose of grease at the wing restaurant. Instead I stumbled into Pho & Mi. What a pleasant surprise. The service was great and my bowl of pho was delicious. Reminded me of when I was in Hong Kong. read more

Honestly disappointed because I had higher expectations. Some menu dishes not available. Recently opened in the past 1-2 weeks. The Pho broth was not good. Good noodles and meats/toppings. I went to the soft opening my first visit and returned today on the second day of its "Grand Opening". I can absolutely see the improvements they've made already. The staff seemed more knowledgeable and all of the items on the menu were available. They have changed their menu from a booklet to a laminated page which is much more easy to browse imo. I ordered the Rare Beef & Brisket Pho. The broth was clear and flavorful which was even a step up from the initial visit. I look forward to returning. read more

The best Vietnamese in Savannah area. That being said, manage your expectations. It's not going to be the most authentic best Vietnamese you've ever had, if you've been to authentic Vietnamese in Atlanta, California etc, but for Pooler where it's an Asian food desert, I'm so thankful for this place. I had ordered the pho combo wasn't too bad, I enjoyed it. I also ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer. When it came to the table at first glance I knew it was old. It was hard and rubbery at the touch and there was LINT on it! From sitting out in the open for so long uncovered, if not from the day before. Server apologies and said they were going to make it over, but they came back out and it was the basically the same. Told the server to take it back and I didnt want it anymore and take it off my tab. Seen a couple order the spring rolls also. They took one bite and put it down, never took a bite again. We're from California so Vietnamese food is the finest out there. We were excited because one was opening up in Pooler. Our 1st. day we tried Bun Bo Hue wasn't what we thought it would taste like and not as advertised. We were told they didn't have some of the special ingredient, we were disappointed but still wanted to taste it and again was disappointed because this soup is supposed to be spicy the taste of lemon grass which there wasn't. 2nd time we tried Com Chien Duong Chau, this dish had no shrimp and mostly vegetables and rice. Goi Cuon was poorly wrapped and it seemed like they wrapped it with any vegetables they had on hand because I ordered it the next day and it was with different vegi. These dishes they didn't have when we were ordering Banh Cuon, Bo Bit tet, Bo Luc Lac. Com Tam Dac Biet the shredded pork skin and egg meatloaf portion was so small and pork chop was dry. Banh Xeo was very greasy and only one shrimp inside with a few pieces of meat and loaded with full of bean sprouts as seen in the picture. They are say they're closing to make improvements. I decided to stop in to the new place to be supportive and try some new options. So let's start with what went well. The restaurant is really nice and aesthetically pleasing soft music playing in the background. Service was less than stellar with staff waiting on me as I decided to order to go and as soon as someone entered I had to wait for them to handle the guest that came in. I should have left then, as I am also a paying customer. I didn't I waited for her to return to place my order. I was given my receipt to sign and again someone came in and she took it back said to wait while she seated the guest that just came in. I could probably be a little more understanding if they were understaffed, but it did not appear that they were. I finally received my order and was disappointed that I had just wasted my time and money. I ended up having Wendy's for dinner which was much better! Will most likely not be returning. read more

We went when it first opened, it was ok and slow. We just tried it for the second time, no one ever go. Took about 5 to 10 mins just to get menus and only four other tables were there. My boyfriend order the combo (Vietnamese coffee, combo pho and an order of dumplings) and I got the pho with rare steak and brisket. The server brought out only his pho and didn't say anything about the dumplings nor my food. I tried to get his attention about five minutes later and he made eye contact and walked away. Tried to get the attention of the female server who looked at us and then also walked away. The woman who order after us got her food right after he got his pho. About 10-15 mins later got the manager. I manage at a higher end restaurant and this is absolutely unacceptable. My boyfriend is Việt and still got ignored. Go to Pho 25 on Mall Blvd instead.
