This is a new pho spot located next to Xecora. I usually do not try new pho places in SGV because my go-to is Golden Deli. My bf was curious, so we decided to try it, why not? Thankfully there was parking, it is a small parking lot. We went during lunchtime, so parking was not too bad. One of the servers sat us down right away. I ordered the Well-Done Brisket Pho (7/10). The broth was decent, but the meat was not my fave. We also ordered pickled onions and the bone and broth (9/10). They have Coke products. The restaurant is nice and big, with plenty of tables. This is a fairly new spot and I wanted to give it a try as it's close by to my house. The pho is pretty good. I got the P1 which is the special; the broth was very rich and the meat was fresh. I took it togo and it was ready for me in just a few minutes which was great! I would say the portion is just right for one person and considering the price, it's not bad. 11/25/24: Everything was perfect. Customers service was amazing. And the place was cozy. We ordered 3 phos to-go. When we got home we noticed that we had 3 broths but only 2 bowls of our meat. tl;dr: broth is sweet you don't have to add hoisin. Great iced tea. Meat portions can be better. Pho came out lightning fast. ~3 stars but I'm not that mean. This place has potential if they work out the kinks. Broth is sweeet like their rock sugar is free. Not herbally but still clean-tasting. Broth's oil is balanced enough, I've had way worse. Broth temperature however, was off like how some reviewers said. My rare steak meats came nearly precooked, I had a feeling they premade this or the whole bowl was all in the fridge and they just poured hot broth on top ~ came out almost lukewarm. Once you add the fridge-cold bean sprouts, the whole bowl felt like 10 min old pho. I got wide noodles, soft from the start. It definitely sat..so maybe just stick with thin noodles. 6-8 slices of rare steak, 2-3 thin slices of brisket w/ same number of "fatty" flank, 2 good sized tripe, and 2 okay pieces of tendon, and 2/3 a meatball~all decent. I had one square-shaped brisket that tasted like it was from the bottom of the bin (old, hard to eat, off-flavor) since it looked and tasted different from all others. There was a piece of fat flank, almost tendon-like piece that was a cut of silver skin with fat ~ tasted flavorful and funny. Haven't had that since home pho. Iced tea is worth it. Brewed correctly (not bitter) that you can smell that orange square tin of jasmine green tea every pho restaurant uses. It's not overly stringent like those places where the tea and leaves hung out all day like they're homies. If there's anything management wants to know since it's a new place, make sure your front-end servers are competent. I don't really care much myself, but some won't like it. The kitchen needs quality control because it seems inconsistent (i.e. meat quality, broth taste, noodle freshness) The portions are okay; 2-3 small pieces of each meat in a small bowl for $14 is kinda pushing it. Other than that..sate sauce is really good, tea is brewed nicely, plus the place is clean and aesthetically fresh. read more

I had high hopes for this spot. Service, they had two servers. They were nice but very busy. "Clean" Plates had chili oil residue and left over dry noodles, they had only pho available no appetizers or vermicelli/rice dishes. Pho Noodles were soggy. When you first walk in you're greeted and seated. They bring out fresh herbs for you and take your order with the quickness. Been here quite a few times and the pho has been very good and consistent. The service on the other hand could be slightly better as the recent time I visited we had a girl server who was quiet the entire time we were there, no greetings and honestly gave us a death stare the entire time we were there. Pros- quick, simple, delicious PHO Cons- 1 portion of noodles isn't enough but the extra side of noodles makes it too much noodles. Noodle management is key. Bring a close friend to share your extra side of noodles. I frequently take out and rarely dine in. I know it's standard to have nice packaging for take out but I thought it was worth mentioning. I like how they package everything for me nice and neatly. I don't worry about it spilling in the car cause they tape the soup lid. There's always a nice variety of fresh veggies.
