When I find a restaurant that has an amazing weight staff and outstanding food is Paramount, but the fact that this is less than 5 miles from my house is perfect The vegan PHO with vegetables and tofu is amazing, I asked if they could make me a tofu spring roll, because it wasn't on the menu and they did and it was amazing My friend and I both have medical alert, dogs, and it is always anxious for me to go into a new restaurant because I never know how will be a received and from the first time we went in they not only acknowledged us. They did not interact with our dogs, but did ask us if the boys wanted water I was stunned. That is not normally how we are received, especially in restaurants. It is your standard café with 2,4 or 6 tops, they have two sections so one you could push tables together for a large group. My friend tried the house special fried rice and he said it was amazing. I've grown up around Vietnamese people and restaurants my whole life in California and I wasn't expecting to find such an authentic Pho restaurant in Arkansas but Pho 88 delivered. Let me just start off by saying the service here was impeccable, the server we had was so kind and she was one of the most attentive servers I've EVER had at any restaurant. Pho 88 serves my favorite bowl of pho in Central Arkansas. The broth is flavorful and delicious with a subtle anise note that really sets it apart. I ordered egg rolls, chicken pho and a Thai tea. Thai tea came out with the egg rolls. Egg rolls were shrimp size with xtra breading no flavor what so ever. We have not eaten Vietnamese food for many years because there were no good restaurants.But, Pho 88 is the authentic place to eat. And great food. We had the chow mein, hot jasmine tea, spring rolls and deep fried tofu. All were superb. The cook is to be lauded for preparing the dishes. The key to Vietnamese food is how they make Broth for soups. Pho is a popular entree in all Vietnamese restaurants. If the Broth is bad, everything else in the bowl is a non factor. read more

A little cool outside so figured the some Pho would be perfect. And it was. Great flavor and not just a bowl of broth. There was an abundance of noodles and sprouts as well as chicken. I had the teriyaki chicken as an appetizer and can honestly say it's the best I have ever had at any restaurant ever. The egg drop soup was amazing too. The main course was the general Tao chicken with fried rice. There was no way I could eat it all because the portions are large, so it made a nice supper the next night too. Fantastic service! All around great experience. We decided to go because our normal spot was closed on Sundays, and this is now definitely my favorite place for Vietnamese around Little Rock. The interior was very clean and spacious. The food was fresh, made quickly, very affordable and delicious. This place has so many options and varieties, I was hard pressed to make a decision.
