Very good, very fresh, well-presented food. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be going back. We ordered the spring rolls, crab rangoon, and fried rice. All of the food was very tasty with very fresh ingredients and plenty of ingredients. My 9-year old son even LOVED the fried rice (and he's REALLY picky). I like that it's modern and the staff was friendly...Took awhile to be seated and to get our food but that's understandable because it was their opening today. As for the food it was good. I got wings for my appetizer and (R2)for my main dish which is grilled sliced pork tenderloin with white rice. Ill definitely be going back to try their pho when it isn't so pack and warm inside. I have been looking for a good Pho restaurant in the area and this place does not disappoint. I'm from California so I've been looking some good Asian food and building my collection of different Asian restaurants; this will definitely be my go to Pho restaurant in the future. I know there were some negative reviews about service and such, I can not speak on that because I had my food to-go. The food was authentic and really good. I ordered the pho #3, spring rolls, and thai tea. Everything was up to standard for a good pho restaurant, the noodles were done well (not too tough and brittle and not too mushy) and the broth was delicious. The Thai tea was on point, not too bitter, sweet, milky, or watery. I will 100% be coming back here again and would recommend this place to anyone craving pho or wants to try it for the first time. read more

A quick rundown: decent pho, good crab rangoon, but service is consistently lacking. We've been here several times since the location is super convenient, but service has consistently held it back. Pho wise, the broth is very good and the trimming options are solid, but in my opinion, it's overall flavor is middle of the pack as far as options in the area. Service is bad. Asked if they have their noodles dry with sauce over it like other Vietnamese place instead of their broth, the girl who is non Asian kept arguing and said all the noodles are cooked! Of course they are cooked! Portions small, weak broth, grilled pork chop is very tasty but more rice than meat. Have the pho to go and disgusted to find raw meat and noodles sent home with broth pack separately. Other better options nearby, will not go back again. Have the menu with coupons, but told I am not able to use the coupon until Next visit. Stopped in for dinner while driving between Chicago and Madison. Food was surprisingly (not sure why I'm surprised but i am) very good. I had the special bahn mi and my wife had the chicken pho. Saw this place cruising east on State Street, decided to stop and try. Glad I did. The banh mi dac biet is outstanding. The bread is key to a good banh mi, and this place has perhaps the best I've had in a long time. Crunchy, light. Yum. The egg rolls are authentic, rich in fish sauce flavor. My family and I stopped in on our way home for lunch, and honestly was surprised to find a decent Vietnamese place in Rockford open on a Monday, which is a rare find. My husband had pho, and my daughter was able to get a kids size pho, which was a pleasant surprise since normally you don't find kids sizes on Vietnamese menu's that often. I had a banh mi, and it was so delicious. My daughter also had a Taro smoothie, which was perfect. We also shared shrimp rolls, which were really delicious. My husband and daughter were raving on how good the pho was that they mentioned it to the host, and he was very excited to tell us that they prepare the pho broth from scratch the night before. My husband being Vietnamese himself could tell right away that the pho broth was authentic, and not made from canned broth. Price wise, this location was very reasonable compared to family owned Vietnamese locations that are in Chicago. I recommend not believing those reviews saying this location is expensive, cause it was not at all. The host provided really excellent service and exactly what I excepted from a family owned Vietnamese restaurant, which is come in and take a seat wherever you like. My whole family made sure to mention to the host that we consider the location our top 5, and most definitely will keep it as our go-to place to stop to eat whenever we head to Wisconsin. read more

Another good place for Pho and Vietnamese food. I was very pleased with the service, quality of food and being able to order a variety of food. The pho I had was on point and was larger than I expected. Was able to get extra meets added and the Vietnamese sandwich was legit. They ordered an array of food, including a Pho Bowl, wings, egg rolls, and a variety plate of sausage, an egg and I couldn't really tell you what else. The Pho was big enough for 3 of us to share and was warm and tasty. They served it with a plate of bean sprouts, mint, jalapeños and limes. The wings were maybe teriyaki coated and were good as well. My favorite were the egg rolls which came as 4 in an order with a sweet thin sauce and they skins were thin and crispy, more like lumpia. They were very good! I came here to eat with my my friend and my boyfriend and we got there at 8pm they close at 9:30pm but they were cleaning up the chairs In front of the customer while eating they closing off the store already. The tables were dirty and she kept on forgetting everything, we had to ask her for straws, silverware and napkins, once we got our drinks. The Thai tea was nasty, slime-y and hard to mix together. After, she brought our meal and the appetizer together. After 10 minutes of eating she brought us the check and told us they were closing soon when it was barely 9. She took 40 minutes to give us our food and only gave us 10 min to eat. The Phó wasn't even that good either!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER DON'T go there, unless you want to puke !! read more

Attempted the 815 unique pho. It has meatballs, shaved dish hamburger, and tripe. Generally speaking it was excellent and included crisp basil, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeno. The hamburger was cooked and not uncommon or medium uncommon be that as it may. The tripe was delicate. Stock was good. Far superior to the pho place on Riverside, yet not in the same class as some others in different urban areas. In general, I suggest this spot. read more

When asked for item not on menu, "green tea", no substitute or suggestions given. Wait staff knew dishes, but not in original language. No suggestions from waiter no salesmanship. We love Asian food and have eaten it in many places in the U.S. A bit overpriced but very good with excellent server despite her being the only one working there and there being at least 4 tables. The poor thing was also answering take out phone orders. Beautiful minimalist decor. Hope that they hire someone to help this sweet woman who worked so hard that Saturday afternoon. We also had the spring rolls which were wonderful, fresh & yummy. It was a pretty disappointing meal for me, when I got there nobody greeted us for like 3 minutes then they came to tell us sit down wait to be seated when there is 5 tables open, so we waited another 5 minutes. Ok then we ordered chicken wings, spring rolls, and specialty pho 815. The spring roll was good the sauce was fire, the chicken wings on the other hand wasn't fully cooked it was bloody red inside, but they changed the wings for us and gave an extra free order but it was over cooked the second time, the pho was a big serving but the noodle was in a whole GLOB! And the thin raw meat on top was supposed to be cooked when it gets in the soup but the soup wasn't hot so I just had couple pink meat sitting in my bowl (which it took 40 minutes to get the ph0) I asked the server isn't the meat supposed to turn color when it gets in the soup she was just like yea :) I give 2 stars only bc the taste is pretty good. read more
