Today's foray to Broken Arrow took me to Pho 71 on Elm. Don't know if it was the cooler temps or what, but I was in the mood for something hot and soupy. TLDR: Good pho, nice people, priced right. Located in a strip mall along with several other eateries, Pho 71 is small, cozy and homey. I arrived around noon and was seated immediately. I'd kinda checked out the menu, so I pretty much had my mind made up, which helped speed the process a bit. I went with the medium pho with brisket and meatballs, and a order of 2 fried seafood spring rolls. In looking at the menu online, I only got to see the pho portion. There's a whole 'nother page with noodle and fried rice dishes, and a lot of them looked really appetizing.... so those are for another trip. My food arrived pretty quickly, and after giving it a minute to cool down while I tore up the basil and cilantro, I plowed into it. The broth is subtle and layered. Not at all perfumey like some places tend to be. There were plenty of noodles in the bowl, along with generous amounts of meat. They didn't skimp on the Thai Basil either. I love the stuff, but there was too much even for me. Bean sprouts, cilantro and a single slice of jalapeno was also presented. Personally, I would have liked to see a few more pepper slices and some sweet onion slices like my local Pho joint does, but it in no way detracted from the dish. The spring rolls were properly done, with generous amounts of seafood inside, and cooked to a perfect golden brown. I'm glad I went with the medium instead of a large, because I don't think I could have eaten a large, and that's saying a lot. Price was just over $19 before a tip, and for what I got, I consider that pretty reasonable.

I'm sick at home and husband got pho on the way home from work for me he ordered a p2 and p5 he's not one to complain or fix it when things aren't right but I'm going to bed hungry tonight because they gave him tripe instead of flank; I hate that this is happening constantly here now....

Sadly this was our favorite place a few years ago... it has become unbearable to even attempt eating here any more. The main lady (I think her name is Tran) who owns / serves the place has a terrible attitude and acts upset and put out every single time we come in. We are always rushed and seems like she is annoyed at us. The place has also struggled with their sewage system on and off and it's a 50% chance that when you walk in it's going to smell like poop. The pho and food tastes good, but they are unkind and struggle to maintain consistency for cleanliness, menu items availability, sewage system problems. The worker in the back cooking is also usually hacking up a lung coughing. There are plenty of other pho restaurants locally that offer pho that tastes just as good in a clean environment with people that are happy and willing to serve you and take your money. I would go try Pho Bo new in the rose district it's amazing!!

The phở here is phenomenal. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful, with just the right balance of spices. The rare beef was tender, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I loved adding fresh herbs and lime it made every bite feel bright and fresh. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere reminded me of home.

The service was good and friendly! I like how small the place is and cozy! It gives me the family-owned feel. Support local. The Pho was great with good flavors, good amount, and very good meat. I'll be returning. Especially winter time.

Great service. Awesome food. Clean environment. All of the ingredients for a great restaurant. Try the spicy beef pho if they have it. It's the best!

I can't get enough of their phở gà. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the broth is so comforting. It's light but still packed with incredible depth. The fresh bean sprouts and herbs added a perfect crunch and freshness. The restaurant has such a relaxed vibe, and the staff made me feel so cared for.

Great little family owned Vietnamese restaurant in Broken Arrow! The service is great, very friendly staff always all smile and ready to help you. It's hard to find good pho in Tulsa, unfortunately we don't have very good options compared to OKC but Pho 71 is pretty good, likely one of the better pho available in the Tulsa area. The broth tastes good and the sides seem fresh. The Vietnamese coffee is probably made in advance because it comes out so quickly compared to other restaurants but I think it tastes good no big difference with most of the other places around town. I mostly come for the Pho so I can't say much about the rice plates. The egg rolls and spring rolls are pretty good and the spring roll is stuffed with decent portion of shrimp. Overall a top place to get pho in the Tulsa area and we will definitely be back!

It's really good but very expensive for 2 small phos and a Thai tea was 33$. The service was good. The building is small but well decorated.

The pho vegetables plate was small with lemons instead of limes, unlike most other Vietnamese restaurants. The pho broth was sugary sweet. The broth was clear without any hint of grease. For a broth made by simmering beef bones, I would expect some grease inside. The noodles had good texture and the spring rolls were great. For casual diners, Pho Da Cao may be good choice. For me, the quality of the pho is not to my standards.

The owner was very great and attentive with us and made sure we didn't need anything, but also didn't hound us the entire meal. I sadly did not get a photo of any of the food, as soon as it hit our table, it was gone! The food was so good, we ordered the steak and meatball pho, the signature pho, pork bahn mi, and the chicken fried rice. My children absolutely destroyed the rice, my wife took out her steak and meatball pho, and I took out the bahn mi and the signature pho way faster than I would have usually liked because I couldn't stop. The servings were great and more than enough for the price. The flavor was FAR beyond what the price suggests. Out of all the places I have been for bahn mi and pho throughout my travels around the world, this is one of my favorites. We drove over 45 minutes to get there, and just to try the food solely from the looks and the reviews I read. DO NOT sleep on this place, they are far beyond your time and travels. I had the Vietnamese combination pho as usual. The broth lacked flavors. The combination pho only had meatballs and rare beef. How's that even combination? The pho noodles were too soft. The rice papers used as the wraps for the fresh spring rolls were a little hard. I was not impressed with Viet Huong on this particular visit. This hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant used to be my favorite restaurant in Tulsa. That time has gone. Maybe, next visit will write a different story. I came back just to make sure my review was accurate. I tried both Bun Bo Hue (my favorite Vietnamese soup) and the Vietnamese pho. The pho broth was the same (mildly flavorful) but the noodles were more firm than last time. The Bun Bo Hue was comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants in Tulsa, but I would say none of them are exceptional. Good luck finding a Vietnamese restaurant that serves exceptional Bun Bo Hue in Tulsa like Pho Cuong in Oklahoma City.
