The food here is phenomenal! We attempted to go somewhere before here that was closed and decided this was the next best option. Man am I glad we did! The ambiance is a little dry and you end up a little skeptical if you should even stay, but they make up for it with the food. The service was quick and prompt, although not exactly the most friendly. I can handle the service being short and to the point for excellent food. Well worth the try!

I absolutely love this place. i've tried nearly all the pho places in memphis and i must say this is my favorite one because their pho has the most flavor at a lesser price! (probably a dollar difference lol). It's a very quaint environment, and the soup just gives a very homey feeling. i've eaten there once and started to come back every week after-- no joke! i go every week, sometimes multiple times a week haha, probably not good for my budgeting but to me its so worth it. The server doesn't really speak much but that's okay! The service is not bad and it is quick. every single time i go i get the chicken pho and the fried egg rolls and i spend $21.52 every time. i went yesterday and i'm going again today lol. I even had to invite my mom to show her how good it was. Enjoy guys!

When I'm 64, I'll still love Pho! Beatles reference aside, this is a perfect casual hole in the wall in which to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. The seats are like those in a cafeteria--hard and simple. But the cuisine is complex, combining many foods and flavors. Authentically good. I rotate among the vegetarian dishes and they are all colorful and crafty. I will come back again soon I hope, even if I am two decades away from turning 64.

Ate at Pho 64 while waiting for our car to be repaired after getting a flat tire from a huge pothole on Memphis crappy streets ... The restaurant interior isn't great by any stretch and on a cold day the seats are cold to sit on but its food is delicious. I had the yellow Thai curry and my husband had the red, both with chicken. It was absolutely delicious! He enjoyed his too but I think he liked mine more. Although, the chicken was a little tough it was still very good. We had the fried pot stickers for an appetizer which were okay bc they were fried a little too hard. We also had Thai tea which was also good. It was perfectly made. Not too sweet and a generous glass full. We weren't terribly hungry so we both took our leftovers to go. My husband finished his the same day but I didn't finish mine until the next day. I would highly recommend when taking the leftovers not adding the sticky white rice together with the curry sauce bc it turns into mush overnight. Pack it separate and combine when ready to heat up and enjoy! Definitely plan to eat here again when we're in town.

There are only a handful of Vietnamese places in Memphis and Pho 64 is my favorite. I like the broth of their pho the best, very rich and flavorful. Besides pho, they also offer a various of other Asian dishes and appetizers. The Vietnamese egg rolls are perfectly crispy and seasoned, and I also love the fried calamari. The service is meh and the owners always seem angry lol. But I don't mind as long as I get to slurp down their pho on a cold rainy day or when I'm feeling under the weather.

Love this place. I usually get curry or tofu with vegetable. And always spring rolls--the best peanut sauce. Highly recommend this.

I had the beef pad thai and it was a nice size portion and delicious! The flavors were very good and the meat was cooked perfectly. 10 out of 10! I've enjoyed introducing Thai food to a couple different groups of people and getting to try different things with them. I prefer Pad Thai with pork at spicy level 7 to really appreciate the flavor. If I have had a lot of spicy food then level 10 works but when not I prefer 7. The Pad Thai with Beef was surprisingly good as it is made with angus beef. The Chef's Fried Rice is super sweet and tastes really good without spice. I may try it super spicy one day but I think it's good as is. The sushi here is really good as well. My fav (and my fam's fav) is the Bomb Roll. When it comes to curry this is how I basically feel: - Red and Panaang curries: Great flavors, excellent choices to go all the way to level 10 spiciness. I always eat it with chicken. - Yellow: Has a really distinctive flavor that can be ruined by too much spice. I recommend level 5 or less. I've had this with chicken and tofu and both are pretty good. - Massaman: This curry has a very light flavor and is best kept at spicy level 0-3. People with peanut allergies beware: contains nuts. - Green: I actually dislike this curry. I don't really enjoy the flavor and its burn slowly builds over time after you have eaten your last bite and is hard to counteract. - Jungle: I thought I would like this one because it is just spice, but since it doesn't have coconut milk, it doesn't have any real flavor to it (to me anyway). To Try: - Sushi: Southaven Roll - Sushi: Rocket Roll - Sushi: Casino Roll - Sushi: Atlantic Roll - Sushi: Explosion Roll - Sushi: Grizzlies Roll - Sushi: Sea Dragon Roll - Sushi: Snow White Roll - Sushi: Spider Roll - Sushi: Sunshine Roll - Sushi: Lucky 13 Roll Love: - Appetizer: Sampler Tray - Appetizer: Shrimp Hompa - Appetizer: Tempura Broccoli - Curry: Panaang (steak or chicken spicy 10) - Curry: Red (chicken spicy level 10) - Curry: Yellow (chicken spicy level 5) - Fried Rice: Chef's (chicken spicy level 0) - Pad Kraprow (pork spicy level 10) - Pad Thai: Beef (spicy level 4) - Pad Thai: Pork (spicy level 7) - Sushi: Crunchy Shrimp Roll - Sushi: Bomb Roll - Sushi: Fusion Roll - Sushi: Island Roll - Sushi: Lobster Roll - Sushi: Rock-N-Roll - Sushi: Shrimp Tempura - Sushi: Spicy Crawfish Like: - Appetizer: Crab Rangoon - Curry: Yellow (chicken, spice level 5) - Fried Rice: Basil - Fried Rice: Vegetable (with shrimp) - Sushi: Rockstar Ok: - Appetizer: Crispy Spring Roll - Appetizer: Gyoza - Appetizer: Satay Chicken (hubby liked) - Curry: Massaman (chicken spicy level 3) - Curry: Northern Thai Noodle & Chicken - Curry: Panaang (pork) - Curry: Panaang with (tofu, spicy level 5) - Curry: Yellow (steak spicy level 10) - Drink: Sake - Pad Thai: Chicken (spicy level 10) - Pad Thai: Shrimp (spicy level 0) - Soup: Street - Sushi: Blazing Thai (has a kick but dislike the fish) - Sushi: California Roll - Sushi: Lobster Roll - Sushi: Redbirds Roll (better with soy sauce) Disliked: - Appetizer: Fresh Basil Shrimp Roll - Appetizer: Fried Calamari - Curry: Green - Curry: Jungle - Fried Rice: Chef's (shrimp spicy level 0) - Pad Kee-Mao (Drunken Noodle) - Pad See Ew (pork, spicy level 10) - Roasted Chicken & Garlic Basil Sauce - Salad: Green - Soup: Gyoza Wonton - Sushi: Memphis Roll

It came with miso soup, a salad, salmon, rice, and vegetables. It was so tasty and well seasoned that I didn't have to add any sauce. It was also very filling. They have a full sushi menu that I'm interested in trying. However, during this visit, I got the spicy crab roll. It was good and just enough to satisfy my sushi craving. A bit of a head-scratcher with their closing times…read more.. I walked in at 2:00 PM on a weekday, expecting to get a quick lunch since their posted hours say they are open until 2:30 PM. Apparently, that is not quite how it works here. The hostess explained that the posted hours are "off" and laid out a pretty confusing timeline of how they actually operate: At 2:00 PM: Dining inside officially ends, because the servers stop working. Until 2:15 PM: You can still place a to-go order because the kitchen is technically open. At 2:30 PM: The restaurant actually closes. So, if you arrive at 2:00 PM, you are strictly limited to takeout. It is a bit frustrating to be turned away from dining in a full half-hour before the scheduled closing time just because the staff is already winding down. If the dining room closes at 2:00 PM, it would be a lot easier for everyone if they just updated their posted hours to reflect that.
