Very bad experience today!! The food has changed. Not only today but because it's in my neighborhood I try to keep going back only to be disappointed each time. The chicken in the Pho is served dry and served iced cold in hopes that the hot soup warms it up. They are not detailed and consistent how they give you your food. It should be the same every time! I have never been so disappointed eating pho. The pho here was pretty mediocre. I went with a couple of friends and we were so disappointed that we were thinking about going to another pho place just to get our cravings over with. Pho nam gau (1/5) Firstly, I asked for my pho to have everything on it and there were no cilantro in my pho at all. Then when we asked for cilantro, they gave it to us whole instead of chopped up like a normal pho place would do for garnish/topping whatever. Secondly, there was pepper in my pho and I don't like pepper in it like that. I knew the pho was gonna be mediocre when I saw the pepper. The broth was didn't have that rich fragrant flavor that I look for. I usually finish my pho but I couldn't even finish this. Shaken beef fries (3/5) these weren't bad. The meat was good and there was a lot of flavor. We asked for more of the sauce that was on top (on the side) and that made it better. Shaken beef garlic noodles (2/5) same flavor beef so it was good. We would've liked this fish more if it weren't on a huge bed of bean sprouts. Service (2/5) we asked for extra limes and the waiter brought two limes out in his hand. HE GAVE IT TO US IN HIS HAND. IN A PANDEMIC. WHO DOES THAT?! We were a little disgusted so we asked for more and he brought it out in a dish. Thankfully he brought it out in a dish the second time. I wouldn't drive 30mins back out here again. We have been going there for years. The food is delicious and the service is great. It's a great place for a date in the evening or lunch with your friends. We tried a number of restaurants in the area to find good pho and we were so glad to find this place. And we love the vegetable egg rolls, not a fan of the sauce that comes with it so we use the hoisin sauce. Can't get enough of those egg rolls and hoisin!! read more

I'm requesting a food inspector visit! 17$ for burnt noodles and a few pieces of beef I'm disputing this charge and want a full refund!!! Crazy experience here today. I came at noon, there were a couple other patrons but not a full dining room by any means. Order was taken and came out quickly. The bowls provided to us on the table were stuck together and the soup spoons had visible food stuck on them. We summoned an employee over and asked her if we could please get clean spoons and bowls. I watched as she took them to the front, behind the counter and began scraping the food off the spoons with a dry towel. Just before she turned to bring them back to our table I stopped her and told her I did not want the dirty utensils that had been wiped off, I want CLEAN items. Another woman directed her to the back to get clean ones. Then the male employee came to our table and abruptly told us it would be a minute, they had just had a rush and there were currently no clean utensils. He seemed very irritated at our request. By this time, I was doubtful that the bowl my pho was sitting in was clean either. We left and will never return. I love me some bo ne. I usually get it when I am in Houston. The only place in DFW that has this dish is in Arlington (hella far) until now. People were hyping it up so I had to try it for myself. The meat was flavorful. Would prefer them to add some Vietnamese butter/mayonnaise to the dish. I also enjoyed the steak fries and the Vietnamese coffee. We all ordered the large Pho. I was the only one that ordered the Pho Ga. The chicken Pho. The broth was excellent and everyone said their beef Pho was very good. The portions were generous and all the right fixings. Fresh basil, lime, and they even steamed the bean sprouts for us. However the one thing they need to improve on is the chicken in the Pho Ga. It was obvious that they used the chicken that came from making the broth. It was tough and had no flavor. You make great Pho don't go cheap on the chicken that you put in the soup. This was my first experience tasting Vietnamese food, and I decided to try Pho! I was accustomed to umami flavors due to trying other Asian cuisine, so I was super excited to expand my palate here. Needless to say, it did not live up to my expectations. The meat that came in my Pho was incredibly rubbery and tasted like Styrofoam. I loved the aroma of all the fresh basil within the broth, but I could not get past the meat. I tried their spring rolls, and those were amazing. Updated review: They are a gem in this little town. There's tons of seating inside and outside. Please note that you must go Register to pay so don't sit around waiting for a check to be served. This place is a small family feel yet their menu is extensive with even curry and a secret menu to boot (ask them)! I come here during the week to get my pho fix, I love that you can order extra meat etc and customize a lot of the dishes as they make it fresh. This is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant beyond just pho. Try to grilled chicken or grill pork w noodles or over rice! Eggrolls are a must Bc they come out piping hot! My brother had pho thai w extra meat (a more traditional way to eat w meat raw and we use tons of lime to squeeze on the raw meat w some black pepper and cook it inside the pho ---definitely try this method)! The cook in the kitchen is Mama Quan and she cooks to please. Think of her as your mom away from mom I have heard of the lobster & noodle dish but have yet to try. I must next time! I heard about this restaurant on Tik Tok and had to make a stop while I was passing through Dallas. The interior isn't updated but our food came out fast. I ordered a small P4 (pho chin bo vien/well done brisket and meatballs) and a shaken beef garlic noodles. Their servings are generous, even for my small pho, and they use fresh ingredients. Their shaken beef was nicely seasoned and the pho was alright, I've had better back in the suburbs of Austin who also had a more generous serving of meat, their broth feels like it's missing something. I would try something else if I were to go again. Murphy is so out of the way for me but I made the drive for some Bò né. Which is the Vietnamese version of steak & eggs! It comes on a sizzling plate, pate, some pickled veggies, and cilantro, throw it all on a piece of French bread = an amazing savory bite. This one plate was worth the drive! Decided to give this place a second try and the atmosphere is still very family-run restaurant vibes. Spring rolls: they were pretty good but the peanut sauce was super watery and the not strong in peanut butter at all. Bo Ne: this dish was so filling and delicious. The eggs were fried perfectly and eating everything in one bite with the banh mi was so satisfying. Bo Luc Lac noodles (shaken beef): I've had this dish before and it was very mediocre. It still is, the noodles were cold for some reason but the meat was hot. It's as if they cook the noodles in the morning and wait for orders during the day. Would I come again? I follow their IG and finally had a chance to visit them on a weekday around 11ish. Huge restaurant and friendly staff! My bf's pho was so flavorful! One of the best pho's I've had in DFW so far! I've been back a couple times now after my very first visit and review. Second visit I had their S meatball pho and the one I had yesterday was their pho special (P1). It was an off hour so theres really nobody there and some of the staff are eating their meal. The place smelled amazing from all the bone broth simmering behind the kitchen ( I'm guessing but that's what it smelled like to me ). The amazing smell seemingly flowed to my bowl pho as soon as it hit my table. Steaming hot and the fragrant was just oh so good. Perfectly balanced flavor and just something you would want to have after a days work and recover from upper respiratory issue. We ordered the wings & banh bao chien to start off. The wings were honestly nothing special, it could've used more nuoc mam sauce. Not to die for but not too crazy either. The banh bao was delicious! So I was out in the area, bout to crush some people on the bowling lanes, when I decided to make a little detour and get some food.
